I called on Thursday morning about getting tree damage cleaned up and the crew was out on Saturday morning and did a great job. Will definitely keep this company in mind.

I hired MG Tree to prune five trees on my property. They did a fantastic job. When I called them, Joe came out quickly to provide an estimate, which was very reasonable compared to other companies I reached out to. The receptionists at the office were very friendly and professional throughout the whole process. The staff came out about two weeks later to get the job done, and I’m very happy with the end result. Thanks for your professionalism, solid work, and great cleanup!

MG Tree Service was professional from the start. Looking over the property, Mike found a grove of trees (Tree of Heaven) that attract the Spotted Lantern Fly. I had 4 other tree services come and none of them said anything. Mikes crew came in with a crane, bucket truck, a whole crew with chain saws and a chipper. The crew got to work and I have a whole new property now that looks fantastic. They cleaned up after they were done with the tree removal and tree trimming leaving nothing but their work to show they had been there. Highly recommend them and will use them in the future for all my tree work!! 10 stars out of 5!!!!

I needed tree branches trimmed growing into my and my neighbors windows. Very reasonable, very respectful and they stayed outside with me to make sure the tree branches were cut to my satisfaction. Very quick response to my request. I highly recommend M & G. Thank you

I wanted an estimate only at this point. They replied to my on-line question quickly, I got a follow-up phone call from Joe right away, he called to say he might be late but he was on time, and he gave me an honest assessment of my trees health. I asked what it might cost when the tree needed to come down (and Joe did not try to steer me in this direction but said in the future it could die), and he gave me a very reasonable cost. I WILL call MG when my dear old tree dies, if it goes before I do. :)

Do not use this company. While grinding a stump in my neighbors yard I noticed that the mesh barrier was about 4 high but only on 3 sides. The side bordering my yard had a board about 2 high. The board was not high enough & large wood chips were flying into my yard. I asked the crew to put up the mesh on my side too. They refused. I called the company to explain I was worried about possible damage to my mower if it went over the big wood chips. They blew me off too. These chips were about 5 x 3 and would have damaged my mower for sure.

This company was very reliable and their price was the best out of the eight estimates that I received. They got the job done and cleaned up and took what they trimmed and most companies wanted extra for that!!

I have had two huge trees fall on my property in the last two years and both times, Mike Gillan and his crew have created order out of chaos, this past time with a crane lifting the tree piece by piece over my house because my yard could not be accessed. The coordination and execution of this task was nothing short of miraculous. Highly,, highly recommended.

MG Tree did a fantastic job from start to finish! 6 trees and stumps were removed; an overgrown Holly was reduced in height and shaped, 7 Juniper shrubs removed, Rhododendrons trimmed and ALL debris thoroughly removed. My house looks wonderful. Everyone involved, from Joe, the estimator, to Scott, the project supervisor, and his crew was excellent. They were prompt, professional, amiable, and went the extra mile to make sure that I was satisfied with the job. Considering the amount time spent on the project and equipment needed, their pricing was very fair. I could not be more pleased, will definitely hire again, and highly recommend them.

We had a tree and overgrown bushes at the front of our house, which were situated on an awkward incline. The cutting crew did a good job, swift and tidy. Also the guys who came out to grind the stumps really did a stellar job! The price was right and the staff was courteous. Thank you MG Tree!

The cutting crew did a nice job on taking down two trees (no property damage, didnt drop the power lines). However their organization and scheduling skills leave a lot to be desired. Booked MG in early May and only had the job completed in mid-August. Constant rescheduling the night before, job done over 4 separate visits. Had to have them regrind stump and it still isnt consistently 4-5 inches below grade. Sadly, MG isnt the worst of the tree service offerings in this area.

Reasonable price, quick service. Excellent results. Will definitely contact them for future tree work.

My call for estimate was returned in hours accompanied by a visit within a few hours. Price was agreed upon; calls were made to keep me informed (access, power lines--all needed to be considered). Men arrived within the agreed-upon time-line and the 100+ year old ash tree is no more. A++ to all. Thank you MG trees.

They were fast, courteous,left no sign of the heavy equipment they had to use and were a great price!My tree came down on power lines and blacked out the whole neighborhood. MG Tree was there before Power company. We made a plan for after Peco left. That next morning MG Tree took away the bush the next morning. Later they came back and removed the remaining Tree and stump very quickly.They were great!

John Donnelly rescued our 12 year old male cat this morning who was stuck up in a tree overnight. John was very professional and gracious and had to go up about 60 to get the cat. He handled the cat very well and we have much gratitude for what he did. Great job John!!

Great work all around - from the initial estimate to end result. Work was done exactly as expected with no surprises. (Had 3 large oak trees trimmed/pruned and all deadwood removed) Friendly crew, excellent post-work cleanup. Would definitely use them again as well as recommend MG Tree to others!

Pros: These guys were great. We watched them take down a neighbors large tree. It was massive with multiple branches, located in a tight space. They were able to maneuver their large equipment into a small space with hanging electrical wires . They were slow and careful to avoid any mishaps and even laid down iron planks for the truck to back up on so grass damaged would be minimal.Afterwards they tightened up any hanging cables, they had to loosen.Job well done.Cons: They didnt show up when they were suppose to, took them the next day. (In all fairness, it was extremely busy time as a severe storm had taken down many trees in the area)Due to weight issues several large tree trunks were left behind for a later pick up

Great company to work with. Ive used Mike and his crew for many years and they do a great job at a fair price.

They do great work. I had Mikes crew take down several large trees this past month, just after we moved in. They ground up all those stumps as well as at least ten large stumps left by the previous owner.

Their website misleads that they do stump grinding as a service. When I asked about the stump grinding service, I was told that they could not grind my two stumps because their company did not cut down my trees. Their professionalism was very disappointing.

Awesome service, on time, work very hard. Very dangerous work and they have the right equipment and personnel. Watching them cut down trees is an experience.

Professional, clean,pleasant, quality work

Very disappointed from the start!!!! Called to scheduled an appointment, they told me the would call back on the same day, which did not happen. Then 2 days later someone call and they told me that would come up to the house in a few days to give me a quote.... well this was almost 2 weeks ago...
