Both Dr. Brady and Dr .Humenick are both extremely thorough and then take the time to explain their findings to their patients owners. Our family has been taking our many pets to them for over 20 yrs and trust them implicitly. The doctors and the staff are kind and compassionate also . Their prices are extremely reasonable. I would recommended them to anyone who wants an animal hospital where they know their pets will be receiving expert care with true concern for your pets.

I went to Broomall animal hospital as a new client with my cat. He needed follow up from an ER visit. I sent them his records and 3 days later gave me an appointment. Dr. Brady, Janet and Carolyn were very helpful and patient in answering all my questions and I was very happy with how they all handled my cat. I was recommended to them by a friend and I recommend them to anyone who needs a vet.

As I have lived in the area for decades I was familiar with the location and a friend of mine also has used Broomall Animal Hospital for her pets and has been quite pleased . I debated leaving this review, but I feel my experience is worth sharing.I had a 19 year old dog that was blind, deaf, had back and back leg issues, kidney disease and pancreatitis. We left our previous vet of many years searching for somewhere that would be respectful, kind and gentle with our pets. On our first visit to Broomall Veterinary Hospital, my dog had a rope tied to his collar which was then tied to a metal examining table, rather tightly I might add. We then watched our 19 year old dog struggle and flail all over the table during his exam, until I finally got up to help him stand myself.Wednesday we had an appointment scheduled for 5:30 pm and in the afternoon my dog started having difficulty breathing. We called to ask if we could bring him in earlier than our appointment because he was really in distress, and they told us no because one doctor was in surgery and the other was on his break. I can fully understand being in surgery preventing you from seeing a patient, but a patient in distress is not important enough to come off your break? We ended up taking him to Marple as an emergency visit. The only time and reason Broomall Veterinary Hospital contacted us was about 30 minutes before our scheduled 5:30 appointment to see if we were still coming, or if they could give the appointment to someone else. They did not even bother to ask what happened to our dog, whether he received treatment somewhere else, or even his general wellbeing.Broomall Animal Hospital, since you emailed us asking us to give you a 5 star review here on Google, I hope you appreciate this review, and just to let you know our dog Scooby passed away Wednesday evening, the same day as his appointment with you.

First visit to this new vet. Everything was handled in a friendly professional way. Still some pandemic restrictions which can be a bit awkward but I left feeling they are knowledgeable and will be able to care for my dog.

Broomall Animal Hospital took wonderful care of my dog. I was able to get a routine vaccination appointment with them within a week, and when a medical issue came up before our appointment, Dr. Humenick sent me at-home care instructions which resolved the issue. Communication from the office both before and during the appointment was excellent. I felt like my dog was in great hands and I will continue to use Broomall Animal Hospital for all of her medical needs!

Dr. Humenick was great - due to covid pandemic they took my puppy at the door. She was examined and within 15 minutes the doctor called and told me everything was good with my puppy. Im a 16 year old girl whose cat got deathly ill very suddenly yesterday. I dont drive, and neither does my grandma. Seeing as this animal hospital is right up the street, I went up with my kitten to see if they could help her. I was turned down and sent away because I didnt have an appointment set up prior, despite one of the staff saying that something was very clearly wrong with my baby. They gave me a pamphlet for an ER that was around a 15 minute drive away (despite me telling them I dont drive). Not to mention, this pamphlet stated that the ER would expect all money upfront - we dont have that kind of money upfront. That isnt explicitly their fault, but if you can see my cat is dying right in front of your eyes, why would you ever suggest such a thing? Fast forward less than a day later (I wasnt able to get to the money grabbing ER they suggested because again, neither of us drive and my kitten was now crying in pain whenever we tried moving her), and I wake up to see that my kitten is dead. Im deeply saddened that this place treats people like this. I get that you need an appointment, but things happen to our pets sometimes very suddenly, and we cant always pinpoint a week before that its going to happen. Things change by the day, and the employee telling me that she wasnt meaning to be rude wont bring my cat back.An awful, awful experience.

For 20 years I have brought all my 5 dogs to this wonderfully caring practice. Dr. Brady is extremely competent and helpful while patiently explaining what is happening to our babies. Even my ornery dog doesnt mind the visit! If specialists are needed he recommends. Staff/office are also quite knowledgeable and professional. Very friendly place!!!!

From June till November last year I had my dog at that vets.First it was because she had lime disease then the vet sad oh she is running ccx around to much.Finally after the 4th visit they said maybe we should do an xray called 3 days in a row and they never returned my calls.I got a second option and she h tu ad a partial torn ligament.She had surgery and is doing great No thanks to them.STAY AWAY
