Front office service exceptional. I was able to reserve everything I needed and received a confirmation email quickly.

We took our Honda lawnmower to Broadway Rental, back in April for repair on the rear drive wheel locking up. The repair was completed and done right, but now the Smart Drive wasnt working properly, it was going way too fast; and it wasnt doing that before. My wife called and talked to Wes. He said bring it in and well take a look at it. When I arrived with the mower, Eric came out and helped me get the mower out of my trunk. With a few simple adjustments Eric had remedied the Smart Drive problem. Broadway Rental made it right for us and at no extra charge!! What great customer service!!

I have rented from this place before in the past and I didn’t have no bad experience because I wouldn’t have went back But you have three bad experience in one day takes the cake for me so that’s why I’m giving one star1ST problemNow the guy is connecting my trailer you tell me that the truck that I have needs a 7 wire plugHe tells me give him a minute he’s going inside and get a extension so he’s able to connect itI’m like ok now minds you I got it for the whole day just in case anything came upI did not have to rushSo he comes back with the piece that’s needed to connect it he connected I signed the paperwork I go about my way so I’m done earlier than I expected so I decide to bring it back early since I don’t need it anymoreNow I get there they come out to Uninstall it from my truck the guy that’s uninstalling it he hands me the seven wire plug that the first guy connected to the car and say that I have to go inside and pay for this2ND PROBLEMPAY FOR WHAT!!He say he didn’t tell you you have to pay for it I said no he told me that the truck I have requires a seven wire plug he’s going Inside to get the extension so he can connect itSo now I’m being charge for something I know nothing about but when I let them know that I was informed that they took it off the billNow I get home And something tells me to check my bank account I have two charges on my account for two different amounts no I was never told that I was going to have two different charges on my account now my account is in the negative tried calling there and letting them know what’s going on the guy going to continue to tell me what he told me and I’m letting him know he didn’t tell me anythingIt’s really sad that this place is going down the people they have work in there have gotten too comfortable and feel that they can say what they want to say to customers but they don’t have to worry you will never receive my business again and I will never referred no one else

Rented a lift and didn’t have a great experience.I should have known there would be an issue when the employee while hooking up the lift complained “He had to go out and crank someone down who couldn’t work the lift a few days ago.”I got home started to use the lift and while we were 50 feet in the air the engine died and we had to manually pump the lift down… 45 mins later and a very sore arm as for this lift you need to pump while with your other hand hold down the button on the left.Called Broadway got somebody on the phone and they talked us through how to get it started again machine died again. They didn’t come out to service they told us to bring it back. Brought it back to them, the mechanic started it in the parking lot without any issues. I think the engine needs to be cleaned and serviced. By this time we have not only lost the day which we took PTO for. Lost our working time, had to borrow a truck from Bloomington to be able to move this lift and family to help on this project.All broadway said is you can take it out again for the day. At this point we wasted six hours trying to get this machine to work. I was not charged but lost my time, a day of PTO, didn’t get the tree down and had borrowed a truck and family drove up.I would have liked to of been offered a different lift since this lift has had multiple issue for multiple renters. We called and asked for this.Disappointing…

Great customer service and extremely knowledgeable staff! They have a full line of equipment to meet all your needs. Even a carpet cleaners with a variety of fragrances. Stop in and check them out. Very reasonable prices.

Be careful. Rented a trailer Friday night. Left home And made it 7 miles from home before it was rocking Ans bouncing Ans making al kinds of noise. Tuned around went home. Rembwring that I noticed the drivers side bearing dust cap was missing when I picked it up. I jacked the trailer up Ans to my surprise found that the last person to service the bearing did not engage the lock into the castle nut. Very bad Ans could have been deadly for me or any vehicles on the road. Should have politely canceled my rental on Friday night And the yard help said they didn’t have a spare tire. I SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED A SPARE TIRE and was told by Denise yep you got it. I was on a 600 mile trip. That was supposed to have happened from Friday night until Saturday middle afternoon. Instead after making the repairs to their equipment to make it usable I decided against driving over night t o my destination. Ans left at 6 am. And then ended up getting home at midnight on Saturday. To be fair to the guys And gals. Upon returning the trailer. They did apologize after seeing the video on my phone and discounted the rental back to one day.

A much better (and cheaper) alternative to places like UHaul for local moving.

I have been coming here for about 5 years, I had an issue last time I was there but everything turn out pretty good and they make it up to me so I am very pleased with the service 👍

Rented a trailer and some scaffold for a chimney repair. Inadvertently ended up with an odd set, and braces didnt line up. I called BREC and they immediately ran me out a new frame. It was a bit of a long drive too. Outstanding.

Ive used these guys several times over the years and have always had a decent experience with them. I rented everything from log splitters to box trucks to steam rollers and have always had good equipment and good service.

Rented a piano dolly from them. The wheels wouldnt lock in place, had to drag the piano to the moving van. Told Broadway rental the dolly didnt work and the only response I got was Ill let them know in service.

We reserved a tent for a community event. They told us to make sure to have the area located for utilities. The day before the event they told us that we needed to call Gopher 1, not 811 (who we called). So obviously there was no way that we could get Gopher 1 out the next day. So then they told us that we needed to pay and extra $250 to have the tents weighted down. What are they weighted down with... Gold Bullion? Our only option was to pay the extra fee otherwise they were going to charge us $500 to cancel! What a racquet! Super poor customer service. If you require locates performed by a certain company you should tell the customer UP FRONT! Not charge them another fee. I will never use this place again.

I would not recommend going back there for any rentals! It was my first time and had the worst experience ever! I rented a vehicle dolly and its started shaking when I left their lot! I figure the dolly would need some weight on it so it wouldnt bounce and shake so bad. The next day we loaded my car on and went on our way to our 3 hr road trip. The very second we got up to speed (55mph) the dolly causes the vehicle to shake the whole way there and back! Instead of a 3hr trip it ended up being a 5hr trip!! I returned the dolly and found out there was 2 very loose nut and screw that could of cause me to lose my car in the Hwy!!!! They didnt even bother to see what have they done better for my next visit but decided blamed me for the loose screws!! Like serious!!!!!, you guys should of did a check over before renting the damn thing out!!! Your employees are horrible with customer!!!! I do not recommend anyone to this place!!!!!!!

Great place to rent equipment you dont want to buy and maintain. Good prices plus they have rates for 4 hours only. $50 for a 4 hour rental on a 2000 psi pressure washer, gas powered.

Been meaning to write a review on Broadway Rental for awhile now. At the beginning of the month I had extreme frustrations trying to find a truck to rent for moving. Everywhere was either VERY over priced or just very poorly organized. I spoke with Zack and he assured me that they had a truck and had very minimal charges. Bring it back full a couple trips later I spent less the $100! Needless to say I will be back in the future for all my rental needs.

Horrible first experience. Came here to rent a power tool and was told if i had it back by 2pm i would be charged $40 and if i had it back after 4pm i would be charged $80. Came back that same day at 2pm to see the gates closed. I did manage to catch a worker that was locking up and told him the situation. He said he would confirm that i was there at 2pm and told me that they opened at 7am the next morning. I then told him that i work from 6-4:30 and the earliest i could return it was at 3:30. He said, okay, yeah well work with you. In the end, i was charged $120. They did not keep their word and did not honor the FACT that a worker told me i could return it it after 4pm. This place is greedy. Horrible customer service. First and last time coming here. Id rather drive an extra 50 miles to rent else where!

Horrible service from the front counter. The guys working in the back are knowledgable and helpful but the front counter is another story. I told the kid working at the counter the equipment rented did not work and he just laughed. When I asked for a refund he said he could do nothing and just laughed.... Horrible service and the equipement they rent is junk. STAY away!
