OK I am giving this 3 stars for the following reasons. I am a single mother of 3 we had a child over flow the toilet and it damaged our basement ceiling and walls. I called numerous companies and many of them were booked out for 30-50 days. I called Century and they were available in less than a week! Great news right? Well yes it was great news for us but the CATCH was they were 15% more expensive that the other 2 companies! $2,200.00 vs $2,525.00 We needed the work done right away so i hired them. The work was done to near perfection and done super fast. I have zero complaints about their work performance, but i cannot give them 5 stars because the price was higher that the 2 other outfits.Maybe I am being to critical but we dont have extra money ever to spend on these unexpected home nightmares. Some would say you pay for quality but i would like to have the quality and affordability from the same place.

We hired Century drywall for a Condo renovation in St. Louis Park, MN. The process was easy to get started, the team at Century performed as expected. I wouldnt say they were perfect but they got the job done in a timely manner and with no extra charges. The last drywall company we used was the cheapest but in the end they tried to charge us with numerous frivolous extras. We ended up fighting with them over these charges, and chose not to use them again. We are happy with Century and will call them when we buy our next condo with drywall work. Century was hired to repair a water damaged ceiling in our lower level living room. I was very impressed with the attention to detail and thoroughness they showed. The team was great they halted the project after finding a STILL leaking water pipe from our up stairs bathroom. I called Josh away and he was happy to refer me to great plumber who came out the following day did the repair. Hired Josh and the Century team for some simple painting of my open foyer and my daughters bedroom. Work was done fast and i was happy with the quality. I liked being told when the team would arrive and finish each day, that was a great piece of mind for me seeing as my child was there some of the time the team was there working. From the first moment the team at Century was great and very professional. I was impressed by the level of the workmanship. My Husband hired them to finish our nightmare basement. We contacted Josh about painting all 3 floors of our condo and repairing several small holes in the dry wall after our tenant vacated the property. Century painted our large open foyer and great room inside our home, they did a wonderful job down to the last little detail. Water damaged the ceilings in my basement. Century was able to get the whole job done in a timely manner, and the quality was great. We live in the Orono area, we needed our large pole barn/ garage drywalled and painted on the inside and outside. Century drywall was hired for the job. Our barn was less than easy to get done, the weather was hot and miserable, but the workers got it done and it was done with a quality of workmanship that i didnt really expect to see. Down to the smallest detail the job was almost perfect. The only item that was a concern was all the drywall dust, but in the end what can one expect when they install 400 sheets of drywall, there has to be some sort of dust it is a construction site. The exterior painting was done well beyond our expectation, flawless!!!!!! Great job!

The biggest thing i can say about Century is the value of the work they preformed, I had them scrape our popcorn ceilings and apply a knockdown texture in our town home before we sold it. I am a older single woman (64) and I dont know a lot about construction. I have a older home in Brooklyn Park, and I hired Century to install drywall to the attic space in my home. There is a guy there named Josh ask for him, he is very smart and found some issues immediately when he looked at the job that every other contractor missed. This is our second time using Josh and his teams at Century. I have to give credit where credit is due, they came thru again for us. This time we had to get our popcorn texture removed from the ceilings in our whole house in maple Grove and we had a small window of time to get it done. The boys showed and got right to it getting the job done within our time line and it was done to satisfaction once again. We were happy with the price and again the punctuality was superb. The only small complaint was the dust that was left behind, but some dust is expected when there is so much work going on,it was minimal but it should be mentioned. The over all clean up was great. The work was done to near perfection, there was a couple small items / touch ups but the guys came right back over and fixed them up. The whole process was an amazing experience to watch unfold. I learned so much just watching the pros work. They make the hardest task look so easy. Getting to know Josh the owner was wonderful, he was very pleasant to work with and showed a real interest in seeing our project thru to the end. The actual work team was awesome, we had a couple Latino guys working with us, they were very nice and even taught our son a few extra Spanish words. The estimate was in line with others we had received or maybe just a little higher, what we liked right away was the honest approach Josh took with us. For starters Century has a ZERO fee for estimates, we had found that other companies out there were charging for estimates, those companies didnt even get a second look from us. We hired Century to install drywall to our basement walls and ceilings, we had some horrible looking paneling before we hired them. Century removed to ugly paneling walls and ceilings and installed drywall and did the finish tape of the drywall. It was a difficult job with a lot of soffits and detail work. My name is Shelly from Inver Grove Heights, MN. My experience with Century Drywall was great. After meeting with 2 other drywall companies I called Century. They were highly reviewed so I decided to call them. I was surprised with the punctuality, Josh showed up on time for the estimate (unlike the 2 other companies). I received the quote back the next day, the other companies took a week to get back to me and their estimates were not well prepared at all. Century was not the lowest bid but I decided to go with them based on my gut feeling. We hired them to finish our basement, the entire job went smooth from the drywall delivery to the final punch list. Of course there was small hiccups along the way but the communication was great and we worked thru the issues. We are now using the basement space and it feels GREAT! Has Josh repair a large hole in my stairwell recently , results turned out great. The original drywall was very old and brittle, which required the entire section of drywall to be replaced, but was done at a very reasonable price and slightly below his original estimate. The stairwell had old and fragile baseboard and fixings as well, but josh and team managed to removed and replace this without damaging it. Would highly recommend Josh to family or friends.

CENTURY SAVED THE DAY! I live south side of Edina and After hiring a less than professional contractor, Josh from Century showed up, him and his team completed the job better than i thought it could be done. There was great communication between the owner and myself which is a huge plus to have. Also i was impressed with the crews ability to contain the mess, after they finished they even had a person to do a final clean.
