Absolutely a joy to work with Candice and the whole team at Alden Castle for the lovely wedding of C & S! Beyond the room looking absolutely amazing, the team is kind, helpful, and genuinely a joy to work with. Loved this day and love this beautiful venue!

I’ve passed by this place almost everyday. To my surprise it was a gem inside. Attending a wedding which the venue gave off a vibrant vibe, that is instagram ready.

My name is Aiden and I had a chance to photograph two weddings at charming Alden Castle. Aiden and Alden looks almost identical in letters. Yes? Moving on. Both times, I found the coordinator and waiting staffs here to be courteous and professional. FYI if you are getting married here, there are lots of photo opportunities inside the building, garden above, and across the street at The Riverway. The only possible downside I can think of is attached parking structure - it is pretty small and valet parking only. It’s been a while, but I remember food being good as well.

We could not have been more thrilled with Alden Castle for hosting our wedding earlier this month. Candice was an amazing coordinator to work with- super professional and the kindest human. She really made sure all the details were taken care of and was quick to respond throughout the process. Alden Castle ended up being the perfect space for our wedding- beautiful venue, excellent food, friendly/helpful staff, and overall smooth execution on the day of. Would highly recommend to anyone!

We had a wonderful experience with the Alden Castle: A Longwood Venue team. We do not live in California but we wanted to get married there so we booked everything remotely. That kind of situation can be anxiety inducing but the Alden Castle team put me at ease. We booked the Romantic special that included the marriage license, officiant and photographers at a remote location. We arrived in L.A. the morning before the ceremony to fill out the license paperwork. We got married at a friends house in the valley. The next day the officiant and photographers were on time and very professional. The resulting pictures were fantastic. Overall a great experience. I highly recommend this service.

I had my wedding at Alden Castle in September and I couldnt have been more happy about the venue, the staff, the food, etc!!! Just wow. From the initial visit, to the tasting, to the interactions with the wedding coordinator, I always felt so special. They made me feel as if my wedding was the only wedding they were planning. The staff at Alden Castle was organized, efficient and friendly! A special thanks to Amanda my wedding coordinator - you were absolutely fantastic!!!!!

Our wedding here in June was perfect. I am so happy we selected Alden Castle. The food, service, and overall experience was better than we could have imagined. We had guests ranging in age from 10 to 90 and they were all very impressed. Thank you for everything!

We had our office holiday party here and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was also good.

Ill start by saying that this is a beautiful venue for a wedding. Good food, spacious.Now the fun. I am 23. I began the night by drinking waters. After receiving a water from the bar, I was alerted by the patron behind me in line that a staff member had told bartender not to serve me alcohol that night.I went back to the bar, asked the staff and bartender if this was true, and was told Yes it was.I then showed the staff my drivers license showing my age as 23. The staff member stated exactly I dont careI was able to get a drink eventually, but such a frustrating experience is worth noting.Also, when you park in the adjoining garage, be fully aware that the quite apathetic valet will leave your car unlocked, with windows down and your keys laying right on the dash.Then when returning it to you, they will insist THEY drove it back to you (the 100 feet you could walk yourself) and absolutely GUN IT towards you. Excellent way to treat peoples cars, especially in such a small space.Beautiful place. But beauty is only skin deep.

My husband and I had our reception here a year and half ago and they decided to do a dramatic decor change after I signed the contract. I found out only a couple months before my wedding and had to follow through with it, I was livid. They decided to white wash and paint all the original stained wood, and that put a bunch of obnoxious carpets and wallpaper on the floor and walls. The food was ok but nothing special, the house cake is gross and I ended up getting my own wedding cake. Parking is a nightmare and the staff, especially Courtney and Amanda are wicked fake and condescending. I would definently seek out other venues!!

We had our wedding here at Alden Castle in the summer of 2017, for about 130 guests. Long story short the air conditioning broke the day of our wedding and the staff did not tell us, lied to our guests about it, and did nothing to make guests comfortable or fix the situation. Bartenders were rude to our guests (I dont blame them as they were hot as hell and shouldnt have had to work in those conditions).I thought how dissapointed/mad/upset we were about the whole thing would fade with time, but it hasnt. Looking back at our wedding photos and seeing people clearly sweating makes us upset to this day and always will. Still feel embarrassed for all of our guests, almost all traveled very far to be there.Would not recommend this venue or any other Longwood Venues location (AC BROKE!). Stay away unless you are going to spend $100,000 (then maybe they wont let something like that happen).A real shame because the physical space is beautiful, and food was great as well. Head chef very friendly too.

Very pretentious place, but in fact, leaves much to be desired. No guest parking, for one... Uninviting, rather gloomy inside... Food is not bad, but unimpressive.

Beautiful place, but they like to over price their drinks...12 for a rum and coke or a house wine. The food was average.

Recently attended a wedding here and the ballroom was elegant, the waitstaff was attentive and the food was good. However, the venue is co-located with Longwood Towers apartments.The personnel associated with LTA are nothing short of very rude punks. I observed them constantly badgering wedding guests about not being in front of the building. It was hot in the ballroom and guests were just getting air or having a smoke. The condescending language,brusk demeanor and constant surveillance made you feel like you were in a prison yard. So if you plan on having any kind of a reception at Alden Castle be aware of the very rude behavior you will encounter by the staff of LTA. Caveat Emptor!!
