This gym has an amazing atmosphere. Everyone is in the in-crowd. Everyone is there to learn. Everyone is there to bring each other up. I cannot express enough how great is a find this gym is.

Excellent instruction, great coaches. This gym is perfect for kids, teens, adults. Whether youve trained before or arent even in great shape, this gym will welcome you and you wont regret trying it out.

This was my 6-year-olds introduction to Jiu-Jitsu first exposure to martial arts. He wants to keep doing it! He started in the littles class and then tried the bigs. He liked both and it was a great experience to have that flexibility to explore where he fit in. Definitely a safe and comfortable environment for children of different ages and personalities. There was also a thoughtful and age-appropriate amount of focus on practicing technique and having fun!

Teacher is great! Lots of emphasis on safety, and prices for the classes are very reasonable.

They are awesome people and have worked with me kindly as an SDSU student. Good company and knowledgeable in MMA. All of they’re instructors are fun to be around and make a great learning environment.

A great gym with great people. Cary is supportive, knowledgeable, and a very technical teacher/coach who presents BJJ to people with varying levels of knowledge. Jeremy runs a great Kickboxing and Hapkido Class as well!

I have been training at No Illusions for 6 months now and highly recommend it to anyone considering learning Jiu Jjitsu (or any martial art for that matter). Cary and Jeremy clearly both have not only a passion for their respective arts, but a passion for teaching. They do a great job of creating an environment that allows everyone to participate and progress in fitness and technique at whatever intensity/speed they are comfortable with, along with encouraging safety and all gym members to actively make each other better. If youre on the fence about BJJ, it has the highest return on investment of any training Ive ever done, having the benefit of a mental exercise as well as physical -- do it.
