This is the worst place a truck driver can come to. My appointment was at 7 pm and I just got put on a door at 11:16 pm. If you want to make good time in and out this is not your place. Other than that the security are great. 1 am still sitting at the dock door. I am just discussed with this place.

Did not have a bad experience like most, appointment was 5pm, checked in 430pm because 5pm is when the receiving shift starts, got a door a 6:40pm, mind you there is more then 5 trucks with the 5pm appointment so patience is necessary, there is over night parking on the street, but if you have other loads picking up early the morning and your appointment is late, I advise to stretch that pick up time, staff was friendly, they call you for a door and to get your paperwork, other wise very chill.

All the 1 star reviews are accurate. Didn’t expect anything different from this McLane from the others. They are all like this. I’ve spent 15 hours at the one by Waco Tx. Only reason I took this load was because I had to get in this area to help out another driver. If they’re using capstone at these facilities then it’s going to be a long process to get unloaded. Out of all the places I’ve been to they are by far the worst to deliver to.

This place is terrible for trucks drivers delivering more than 4 hrs for 12 palles don’t care the appointment time you have them only takes you when be ready for you. You waste your day here

Checked in at 18:15 for a 19:00 appointment. Sat parked on the side of the road until 20:20 and on dock at 20:30.They finally finished at 0600 the next morning. By the time they got my paperwork together I had finished an entire 10 hour break in the time it took them to unload my trailer, then pay Capstone 355 dollars for them to waste my entire night.2 stars only because the people werefriendly. Honestly, except for how unbearably slow it was there is nothing else for me to complain about.

Place is a joke. This entire load has been a nightmare. 9.5 to get loaded in Oglesby, IL at DHL which caused me to miss my original appointment. Then they rescheduled my appointment for 4 days later. Only reason I sat on it is I was going home for hometime and only live 100 miles from here. I will NEVER take another McLane load as long as Im a driver. Been here in Brookhaven for 2 hours already and I can tell I will be here for several hours. As an added bonus Crapstone is the lumper service which is a guaranteed add of 2 hours. Places that operate in this manner should be ashamed of themselves. Utterly disgraceful.

I had a 7:00pm appointment. I checked in a 4:45 pm. Got a door at 6:00pm. They didnt finish in till 10:00pm. Overall not a bad experience here. Overnight parking on the street or the lot across the street from Walmart DC.

Terrible place to deliver.. there for 5 hours took 1 hour to unload and 4 hours to get me my paper work back.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. In a door at 17:30 for a 17:00 delivery. Got here at 16:20. Told to park on street. Ladies at guard shack were nice. 4 hours in, I call to see whats going on, dude from capstone starts yelling about how he has no paperwork, and how I aint getting detention. I will never come back to this place again. Ill refuse every load coming here. This place needs to get new management.

Make sure you walk 30min before your Appointment And park Outside The street dont Go In, Take safety Vest check in with Security ,Security was Actually Nice nice and Quick Gave me paper to fill out when I got back ,my appointment was at 11pm they finished at 4am ,had to pay a Lumper of $375 ,inside seems like theres no safety theyre pretty in unsafe work inviroment employee driving fast with Electric pallet jacks ,No Safety Vest,No Hard Hats,No Safety Glasses ,And theyre on Tennis Shoes? How is this place even running like this with no safety Zone??

Not sure whats up with reviews but i been there. Arrived at 1845, parked along road walked to guard shack with vest, checked in 1910, walked back to truck 20 min later call from guard with door, empty and gone 2200. All paperless capstone lumper through app. Wish all companies were paperless.

Bad reviews are definitely a reflection of this place. The staff is so rude like they hate to come to work which is crazy. You have to park on the outside because theyre never on time so when youre early or on time youre penalized. Its super slow with the paper work, long lines just standing there at the office. And it took over 8 hours to get unloaded and leave. Smh by far one of the worst places to deliver to

If you come here you will wait at least 7h do not waste your time or charge more before coming 7pm appointment 10 pm waiting in the street for a door do not come drivers we need you to respect us

This place is ridiculous. First you have to park on street just to check in. Then you try to check in, but if you dont have or are wearing a safety vest, you have to go back to truck or go buy one. Now you have checked in with security. BUT now you go back to the truck, just so you can walk all the way back in just to go to shipping. So if you have a appointment time (mine was 1900), you come out better waiting close to that time, so you ONLY have to make one trip.

Arrived 17:30 for 19:00 appointment. Got call for dock assignment 22:00 didnt get empty till 03:00 next a.m. 8 hours of my time wasted with( so far) NO DETENTION PAY. They say it takes up to 3 days for approval. I didnt get 3 days notice before being detained. Guess whos NEVER going back. Update: its now been 2 weeks and STILL NO DETENTION. If this place were forced into bankruptcy because nobody would deliver to them it might serve as a notice to other warehouses not to treat drivers so disrespectfully ( probably not, but I can dream)

Got my door at 7pm. they didnt even touch my freight until 8pm. Asked a lumper how long it would be, and hes estimated midnight at least. I have no idea what kind of work they call thenselves doing, but it doesnt take five hours to pull shrink wrapped pallets.Update - it took until 330am to get unloaded

Paperwork says my appointment is at 11 p.m. I am here at 10:25 p.m. . I have a delivery number which apparently isnt going to work. The woman at the security desk says shes tired and she doesnt feel good and she gets off in a half an hour which means I had to put up with her not feeling well and directing that towards me then I find out they say my appointment was for 7 p.m. . This I have a funny feeling is going to be a great experience. Half a star might be adequate. I hope the rest of this goes okay.

I arrived 9 hours early, unfortunately I had to wait until 30 minutes before my appointment time to check in. Once I checked in at 8:30PM for my 9:00PM appointment, I was told they would call me once they have a door. I had to wait 3.5 HOURS for them to finally give me a door. It took them 4 HOURS to unload (16.5 hours total here) - I will forever be denying McLane deliveries after Today, theyre truly the slowest all around.. 4 hours is understandable to unload 54 pallets, 3.5 hours to get a door is absolutely unacceptable. They earned an extra star for the parking on the outside, and restrooms for drivers.

Disrespectful to drivers who are delivering goods to sustain your supply chain. Parking on a busy street, only check in 30 minutes before delivery appointment time. Both security guards are rude, the woman decides to hold a full conversation including laughter, while the driver stands in the pouring rain. Guess what, I am turning in video of her behavior to every level of management. This facility needs a standard operating procedure overhaul because it is inefficient. -100 stars! An easy solution is to take drivers number and call them with door assignments as they become available. This reduces congestion and confusion, while getting drivers in and out in a timely manner.

Most of the reviews are pretty bad in here but I had a good experience with these guys!Had an appointment at 7 am and they assigned me a door right away and pulled in and started to unload and called me back for lumper about half an hour later which was $249 and got the papers by 9 am. 2 hours gap was not a bad timing comparing to these critics so good luck!

Sorry gate guards alone with lumper service avoid if all is possible warehouse to warehouse transfer took to long and they want you to burn your clock waiting on them dock door n dock plate was down so I pulled out the dock after waiting 4 hrs then the sorry gate guards held my paperwork until I went back after another 2 hrs total of 6 hrs wasted at this place

This company and their brokers need to get it together. I picked up in ft. Worth Texas July 13th and was supposed to be delivered on July 14 @ 5pm. I could not check in till 5 pm and then was told that this load doesnt deliver till July 15 @ 5 pm. I want some detention pay for their mess up. By the time I get to deliver this load I will have been sitting on site for more than 30hrs.Will post more reviews when Im done unloading.

1st dont arrive a minute before your appointment. Park on the side of the road then walk to check in. Omg they take a pallet off every 30 minutes. The worse McLane ever. Easy to find is the best part.

I was at circle k Wednesday night. McLane pulled up to make a delivery. I was parked in a spot seeing that I am a customer. They asked my daughter in law to move my car. I came out and told them she is not a licensed driver she can not move my car. I know they have to make deliveries but you do not ask customers to move their car when they are in the store, especially if they are parked in an appropriate parking space.

Prime driver:Arrived: 16:15 for a 17:00 appointment. Parked on street and walked to guard house.Checked-in: 16:30 and was assigned a door right.Total unload time 3 hrs.

We came here to delivery. And after unloading they told us to go park in the street. But there were 4 small boxes left in the trailer. So I called and was transferred to receiving. I asked the lady what to do with the boxes. And she asked a nearby lady. And I heard the lady nearby say, Tell her, It is her f*#@&$%! deal, how about that? And the lady on the phone laughed and transferred me but the phone was ringing with no answer. Very bad customer service. We are very disappointed by this phone manners of this company.

On my experience not bad at all checked in 10:30pm got me out by 12:30am 2hrs maximum was great for me

I came for my 7 pm appointment, was told to park at the side of the road, there was already a lot of trucks. After checked in they didn’t have door for me and said “we gonna call you”. I got door in 10:30 pm. Received second call in 2:41AM that I need to pay Lamper fee 249$ and I right away I went to pay it. After I payed I have told that I have to go back in my truck and wait for someone that will bring my paperwork. 4 am finally got my paperwork.

Worst place to deliver. Appointments 10 pm chk out 6 am for 3 pallets with $270 lumper fee.

Slow, slow, slow, took them almost 4 hrs to check in 9 pallets with 330 pcs, cost $139 lumper fee. Your freight, you pay!! Took forever to check in and all you can do is sit on shoulder of street and play frogger to cross it to security building, no care for the handicapped drivers, they want you to walk half a block to check in. And dont get me started on the porta potties. Blackball me so I wont have to go to any of your DCs...please....

I’ll help this place out and no they didn’t pay me to. Yes it’s the typical McLane communist style check in rules. And they have a very archaic way of getting you actually checked in past security but it was painless for me. I had a 2100 appointment. Arrived at 1900 and told to come back at 20:30. No biggie (expected). Back at 20:30 and had a door during the check in, no wait for a phone call. Took 3 hours to get unloaded and paperwork in hand and out the gate. Seems like since past reviews they have changed lumper services and are turning things around. They do have overnight parking on the street. So if you’re smart with your hours not all is lost coming here. Could it be better? Yes (hence the 4 stars) Could it be worse? Also yes (hence the 4 stars). All in all I’d deliver here again. Positive experience

This is one of worst places I ever delivery since I have been in the trucking business 30 yrs. Check in at 5pm. First one. Capstone said that Kraft out of Springfield MO loaded the two stop all mixed in together with no labels. This why it take so long to unload me. Beside that they charged $354.00 lumper fee. Avoid dealing Mclane and Capstone here. People were okay in their attitude. Very slow. Out at 3am next morning. This place is joke.

There is a truck stop 3 mil.away or wide shoulder which u need to park bfore u check in,take ur ID with you. Pple in here are grumpy but i got unloaded i less then 1 hr. /b.c.i didnt use lumpers /Receving lady was fast she was the only 1 working in here..... guard person Me hello how r u her... what time is ur apptmnt. Well, one positive is they have overnight parking!Get there as early as you want to but won’t check you in till 30 minutes before your appointment time.Typically takes 4 to 6 hours, possibly more, in door getting unloaded.Security and other personnel are ok, not rude or overly friendly.

I do ltl reefer so these places are nothing new to me. Had a 17:00 appt in the door and unloaded the 48cs myself by 17:30. It’s now 18:37 and still waiting on receivers. Finally got bills at 19:15. Last time I’ll see this place.

Had a 2100 appt. Showed up at 2000. 30 trucks waiting. Didnt get a door until 0300. Wouldnt even let driver use the break room to get food from vending machines. Probably be another 5 hours until they are done unloading me. I mean, they say everything moves slower in the South, but come on! 😉

Must be lucky! Had appt for 2300. Checked in at 2030, in a door at 2045, unloaded at 2130, got bills and on my way at 2230. Candy load on a Sunday. Guard was very nice and lady at receiving window to!!

Josh in Security is great and friendly. Unload time...... Not so great. Took several hours to unload half a trailer and had to pay a lumper fee $87.00. Docks are tight unless no one is directly across from you. Parking on the street. I have been to worse place... And some better.

Sometimes its 3hrs, sometimes its longer. Plenty of street side parking. Lumpers charge 26 pallets in even if you bring 54. I have had good deliveries here, but it is almost 3 hrs past appointment, no door. After scheduling mistakes and this wait its been 29.5 hrs on this one. Bring extra coffee and food. Good luck

Worst place in the world ,we have appointment at 1AM,we came here at 1220AM and check in ,but we wait at street until 2:40.we came inside ask for dock they took me they dont have any dock but look they have so many docks available.

Two stores because the parking is insufficient it is grossly insufficient and it is dangerous it is a safety violation for a company that has this amount of prophets per year and not be able to purchase land and provide ample parking space for their delivery trucks is a disgrace to the community that they serve this is just my opinion sincerely Hope for Change in this matter but the associates in the facility are magnificent and are extremely professional and kind for that is the reason for the 2 Stars

Incompetency at its finest. Over an hour just to get checked in. Had a 1900 appt. Got a door at 0045. Didntget unloaded until 0430. Bring a meal and a pillow.THEN had security guard threaten to kill my dogs, who were inside my truck! Sorry that you missed the paw prints and the warning on both sides of my truck, Herbert, and you ran away from my truck screaming like a little bit*h, but dont threaten my dogs.

This place is beyond ridiculous. First time I came here to unload it was a great experience everything ran smoothly. This is the second trip here and honestly I hope to never come back. My appointment was at 11pm I was here and checked in at 10:45pm. Waited 1.5 hours to get a door now been here 6 hours total since appointment time and still do not have paperwork. These guys make sure they get paid to unload the trailer but make you wait forever. Total bull if you ask me.

The good thing, had a 2300 appointment and got a door at 1900. The disorganization is unbelievable at this receiver. I have been unloaded for over an hour, lumper paid and still waiting for paperwork. Ive been to worse place to deliver, just not many. Not someplace Id recommend coming if you have patience issues.

One of the 6 worst places I have ever had the misfortune of delivering to. Very rude IF you can get them to talk to you at all. They are in NO hurry to get the goods we are delivering they would rather hold up the drivers and keep their goods stored on their trailers. In 25 year this is number 6 that I will NEVER return to. I know some drivers have no choice and that sucks for them but I do have a choice.

Horrible place,from the moment you checked in,they rob you of your humanity,park on the street,walk a mile if you have to to walk and check in,if you can t walk,you say? that s not their problem,they don t care, you will be made feel like a felon at the guard station, phase 2,go talk to the actual receiving woman/ckerk, where you will be told to wait(I waited 2.5 hrs AFTER my appt,to be called in), THEN like all the miserable places,lumper is another wait...I will NEVER comeback here,the road to hell goes thru here.
