We had our pool completed last summer. This is an Ozone pool and we are very satisfied with our pool. We looked at the different pool systems and decided on this one. It seems to have less maintenance and Blue Haven can take care of all your needs from closing/opening your pool to just advice if you dont understand something. We are looking forward to spending a lot of our time in the pool this summer and many more summers.

The customer service at Blue Haven was phenomenal.... right up to the point that I signed the contract. Since that time, it has been a never-ending mess of ridiculously bad customer service. I was told 90 working days to get the project done. What that actually means is 90 days that they actually show up to work. Hole was dug and gunite was in by January 1st. In mid-February (after a snow and ice storm) I was told that the project would be completed by the end of March (“easily by the end of March” was the quote by the foreman). March came and went (with beautiful weather all month) and I had workers on-site MAYBE 2-3 times. The foreman (who apparently is no longer with the company) NEVER answered his phone. He would return text messages the following day, and would take hours or wait another day to answer a follow-up question. I had to catch him on-site to ask what the delay was, and he blamed it on his boss (also apparently no longer with the company). My entire experience with Blue Haven has been terrible, short of the design process (Brendan was great). It’s now early May and it’s doubtful that the project will be completed by the end of the month. They know that they’ve got you by the short and curlies after the work begins, and it’s been nothing but obvious that couldn’t care less about getting anything done in a timely fashion.Find yourself a better pool company.

Good experiences with Blue Haven Pools & Spas seem to be random occurrences. You would be wise to avoid them.We signed a contract for 32x17 pool that per contract should have been completed in 60 workable days. We are now at 119 workable days and counting. Thats nearly 60 days past due as of this writing.Ive had to constantly project manage them to ensure they work when they say theyre going to work. If you dont call them you wont hear from them. When you do call them theyll politely apologize for any inconvenience and promise to get things back on track only to miss date after date breaking promise after promise.Weather doesnt seem to be a factor to them, they work rain or shine, Monday through Saturday, Ill give them this. One star... :)Their mason has been out (6) times so far, (3) times to fix tiles of the same design side by side; (3) times to fix the stone coping because he set them in freezing weather. Hes currently MIA on the waterfall build, the new GM cant seem to nail him down on when hell finish.I went with Blue Haven following a glowing review from a relative and my own research through various online forums, BBB and online reviews. Most of the online reviews are all over the place in terms of experiences, some bad, some good, some really bad and others really good. This company only gets a few reviews per year which I felt didnt provide an overall clear picture of how this company would perform. So I went with my gut based on some of the reviews, relatives experience and factored the over all time this company has been in business verses some of the smaller companies around town.I was completely wrong...I now know that this company suffers from various issues related to management and leadership. There appears to be a high turnover with critical leadership. The GM for the Tulsa store quit in the middle of my project. Looking through other reviews you see where this has happened before. Its sad really, they seem to have a lot of good people working for them (sans the mason!), but cant seem to get the right help they need to deliver on their customer commitments. They refuse to hire more sub-contractors and the new GM himself is juggling field work (equipment installation) and running the Tulsa office. Seems like the current ownership/leadership is more focused on profits than quality product.I do know this, had I been late on payments by 60 days you can bet they would have me in collections.

We love our pool! We were very impressed with the entire process, from the sales meeting with Brendon all the way to the finished product with Alan and Eric. Everyone was very professional and any concerns we had along the way were rectified to our satisfaction. Their Ozone/UV system is amazing. It requires very little chemicals or upkeep. We are looking forward to many years of enjoyment. We highly recommend them if you are thinking about putting in a pool. Thanks Blue Haven!

Blue Haven built our first pool back in 2008. It was a great pool and we never had any problems beyond normal maintenance items. However the building experience was not good with the owner and his son. We looked at other pool companies when we decided to build a new house. None of the other companies felt right when we spoke with them including one company that basically threw us out of his office because we spoke to another pool company. We discovered that Blue Haven had a new owner so we decided to talk to them. I’m glad we did. Brendan was great and designed us an awesome pool with a SPA, beach entry, lighted laminar jets, diving board and automation with an app. Nathan was great to work with on the build and kept us very well informed always responsive when I called or texted to ask a question. Eric got everything started great. Everything with the pool build stayed on time. I just wish the house build went as smooth as the pool build. We love our Blue Haven pool.

We chose this company because of reviews and a recommendation from a friend. The excavation on our pool started in October. We’ve had one thing after another go wrong with promises to have it taken care of, only to have them not show the day(s) we were told they’d be here. When you invest this much money into something, you want it done correctly. I don’t have room to list all that has gone wrong, but here’s a few: cut cable, didn’t hook back up one of our our A/C units, pool is not the color we paid for...not even close, still waiting for them to fix the patio staining...been waiting since March, still don’t have the table for the pool, last week when they did an acid blast on our pool to attempt to fix color...which we were told 3 weeks earlier they were coming out to do then...they blew our electrical outlet, the dirt work was not properly done and we’ve been quoted it will be $1600 to fix, plumbing that still isn’t fixed, ground wire improperly installed, etc. I don’t know if there’s been a change in management, but this is certainly not the company that received its last great review 7 months ago. It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review for any company, but we’ve emailed, texted, and called the GM often and we are now entering month 8 and it’s still not complete.

What can I say about Blue Haven. They turned out a quality product and delivered as promised. I’m not the easiest person for a contractor to work for having a background in engineering and construction. I interviewed numerous contractors over a 4 month period and decided upon Blue Haven based on their reputation, design practices and construction principles. The key to a successful build is engagement and communication and they delivered on all fronts. There were cheaper options from others but in the end I believe you get what you pay for. I look forward to working with them on my next project.

Very disappointed in this company. Project manager quit in the middle of our dig, I had to manage the subs they hire (Not a turn key operation) and the final product still has issues with color on top of my yard having a low spot collecting water between my house and the pool (I was guaranteed this was going to be accounted for and graded at the first meeting). I can not recommend this group as I have been trying to get someone back out to the house for a month with no response.

We had our pool built beginning in December of 2015 and were completed in March of 2016 which was the approximate schedule quoted. Brendon did a good job with design and construction went well with good communication from Alan and Nathan. Chemical cost has been below anticipated and service has been provided promptly when requested. Based upon our experience, I would highly recommend a spa, which has allowed almost year round use, as well as the automatic cleaner (best $500 I have ever spent). Anytime I call, even if it is just for advice, I have been satisfied. The addition of Eric to handle service calls has been great. Good job Blue Haven!

In late 2014 our family began working with Blue Haven Pools to design and build our pool. Blue Haven spent countless hours of time working with us before construction began to insure we were comfortable with the decisions we were making and that we would end up with the pool that best suited our needs. Nathan and Alan, upon beginning construction were always available and kept us apprised of what was happening every step of the way. They both spent countless hours coming by our home to check on the construction and following up with us to make sure we were happy and satisfied with the progress. We were so happy and confident in Blue Haven that we expanded our project with them to include the building of a beautiful pergola and a significant landscaping project. This was the first year we were sad to see the dog days of summer come to an end. Nathan didnt stop there, he made sure our pool was covered and closed properly. Blue Haven and their staff have gone above and beyond to make this the best experience we can would have anticipated. We have recommended Blue Haven to many of our friends and will continue to do so in the future!!! Thanks Nathan an Alan.

I highly recommend Blue Haven Pools. They installed our pool over the summer. The process was as expected and they allowed us to use some different contractors along the way. They began on 6/5/17 and finished on the weekend of 8/6/17. Well ahead of schedule. The staff and contractors are amazing and the pool is as well.

We love our pool and Blue Haven did a great job in designing the pool. We had a very tight back yard and they got the most out of the space available and everyone that sees it is amazed at how beautifully it turned out. They have been great to work with during and after construction.

My wife and I have been exceptionally pleased with Blue Haven Pools. From day one of the sales process until now three years later; Don, Nathan & Eric have been great to work with. If I had to find any fault with this company, its that they didnt up sell me enough. I know its odd to say that but would have spent more on features and technology if they would have gently nudged me to do so.Communication was great from day one. Nathan is the G.M. and does a great job keeping everyone informed throughout the build process. Eric does a wonderful job delivering the pool and taking you through what they call pool school. Since delivery the level of communication has remained as strong as it was during the sales and delivery process.Just a few nights ago (3 years after delivery) I had an issue that I noticed late in the evening, around 11:00 pm as a matter of fact. I decided to send a text message to the G.M. thinking he would likely return my message or call me the next day. But I was wrong, he texted me back 5 minutes later and worked with me up until around 11:30 pm to resolve the problem. This level of customer services is completely unheard of these days, but it is what I have gotten accustomed to since my relationship with Blue Haven started. What I appreciated the most about Blue Haven was them being on the cutting edge of technology. While my neighbors were still getting chlorine and salt water pools, Blue Haven was offering the latest technologies such as Ozone. As someone who appreciates the latest in technology, I was the most intrigued by the technology solutions Blue Haven offered over popular builders in the Tulsa area.If you are considering a new pool and still havent decided on a builder, I would highly encourage you to consider Nathans team over at Blue Haven Tulsa. They have a customer-friendly showroom over in Broken Arrow where they can demonstrate and show their technology solutions and creative options. If you would like to see my pool and talk further about my experience with Blue Haven, I would be happy to share it with you... thats how much I want these guys to succeed. If that is something you would be interested in, Nathan can provide you my contact information upon request. If you want a great pool and a great experience to go with it, you owe it to yourself to visit Blue Haven Pools of Tulsa.Respectfully,Cory BoxJenks, OK

Building our pool wasnt the main problem with Blue Haven. Its the aftermath. My biggest problem with this company is they will charge you a service fee just to come out and give you an estimate if something is wrong. NO other company does that. Conveniently everything would break right after the manufacturer warranty. The circuit board went out 2 months after the warranty expired. Several of the people we worked with on this 4 years ago have since left and things have become worse. They also like to triple the amounts of parts. The circuit board estimate they gave me was over $800 and we bought it and installed it our self for $300. The same with the filter cost. I understand mark up but they are always going to charge that $85 service fee no matter what. It has been a big disappointment over the past few years dealing with the lack of customer service. I have since moved my business to Baker Pools. They came all the way from Jenks to my home in Broken Arrow to give me an estimate on what I need to do to get my pool open for summer. The customer service has been excellent and polite.

Dont let the service lady in their BA store know you came there to purchase something you need for your above ground pool. My husband told me she looked at him as if he was TRAILER TRASH and not worthy of her time! 😡 We wont make that mistake again!P. S. Im adding my reply to your response below here because there was no other place designated for me to reply. My husband went to your store to purchase a bag of sand for our pool filter. So, it appears that you actually do sell an item in your store that is used for in ground and above ground pools.

I gave them a huge residential project, probably one of their largest. We started in March 2019 with estimated completion in August 2019. They did not finish until February 2020. Crews would start their part then leave for days (and sometimes weeks) at a time before finishing their part. I offered them multiple opportunities to put the project on hold as they got further and further behind but they kept confirming that they could be done in August. They informed me at the end of October that they would not finish until I had a fence installed. I knew that I needed a fence but until that time they never told me that they could not finish the pool until the fence was done. I interviewed finished a few fence builders, hired one, and my fence was finished the middle of December.Yes, this has been a big project. Yes, we got rain in May. But there were only 8 rain days during the work week. And when workers worked less than 65% (yes, I calculated it) of workable days, it is going to take longer than estimated. The first company I had hired (Gunite Pools aka Stephen Keurney and Chris) went bankrupt. I am grateful Blue Haven took on this project.Unfortunately their post project service has been as difficult as the building process. I still have a crack in the plaster. One of the pumps keeps tripping the breaker. I still do not have my pool loungers that they ordered. Messages go days with no replies.

Our experience was like that of one of the other reviewers. There were small things in the building of our pool, but nothing really unexpected and the pool is beautiful, but the service after was abominable. Our circuit board and pump went out right before the warranty was out, but after they came out and looked at them, they refused to return calls or attempts to contact them. We replaced the items with better quality and more efficient products once I looked into the reviews of the products that they used during installation; we figured that fighting to have them replaced when it seemed that they were just bad products wasnt worth the aggravation and frustration. We also had a valve stop working and the heater went out after a couple of years. The products that installed were all very low end, but we didnt know better at the time when we were building the pool. They were inefficient and didnt last long. The only thing that we had that was still working after 4 years was the filter and a couple of manual valves. It was really disappointing, but when we switched out the products, we saved tons on our electric and gas bills.
