I was referred here by the guys at Firestone due to transmission problems in one of our vehicles. The guys here tried a couple of inexpensive fixes to save us money which unfortunately didnt work. They did knock some money off the major repairs we eventually had to have done. Took them a couple days to diagnose, but repair work was quick once the parts were in. Kept me constantly updated throughout. Definitely recommend.

Took my truck to Builders for transmission work, they were very clear on what they may be able to do or what they may have to do. They ended up being able to fix my transmission after someone already did 2 years prior and charged me a fair amount and also informed me of some other issues I had going on with my truck. Very polite and not pushy in any of the other repairs I may have needed, they even took the time to send me a video of my fluids that needed to be addressed. Very professional group of people I will recommend them to anyone I know and I will be taking my truck there for any other repairs.

Took my 98 Chevy in because I was having problems with it harsh shifting and a DTC of PO1870. Talking to Jeff he made me an appointment for the next morning and he told me not to worry that it could be something minor and until they checked it out and dropped the pan there was no way to guess what it needed or what the cost might be. True to his word, the next day before noon he called and said my truck was ready, it only needed a module repair and the rest of the transmission looked good. So for a very fair price, and quick turn around my truck now shifts like it should. Definitely a good experience and a great outcome. Richard Biby

I explained that getting my car running well was #1 but a close #2 was for someone to tell me what was wrong. I got a call back in a short amount of time, an explanation, and a price. Straightforward and uncomplicated. Price was fair and I havent had an issue since. Great experience. Honest people.

Builders Transmission built a T400 transmission for my 1970 GTO recently and did a great job. It is great to find a shop that provides fast, professional service for a fair price. This was not the first time my family has used Builders Transmission, this was the third time if I count my fathers T-bird. They rebuilt it back in the late 70s and it never failed him.They have been at this same location as long as I can remember.

Ive rented U-hauls from these folks a couple of times now. Its rare anymore to get any kind of customer service, much less to have someone go above and beyond. I had ordered a truck for the evening, and was going to have to bring it back early in the morning for another customer to pick it up. The other customer cancelled their reservation, so Builders called me and said to go ahead and keep the truck because the other folks had cancelled. Most people would have just let me bring the truck back and never said a word about the cancellation. This was very helpful to me and my family during our move, and truly sets the folks at Builders apart in the service arena. Thanks!

They are knowledgeable and very fair. I went in with a few problems with my car but could only afford to fix a few of the problems at a time. They fixed what I paid for and then did the last thing free of charge which would have been fairly expensive for me. I was amazed and will continue to go to them with any issues I might have in the future.

Finally a service I can trust. They are not just transmissions. They have done everything from oil service and brakes to major repairs for me and my family. Home town friendly, caring, professional and competent. I recommend.

I have had many transmissions rebuilt by Builders over the years. My family has also had several transmissions done over the years with this business, they rebuilt our 2000 f350 dually, still runs strong & still pulls weight with 462,000 miles now on this vehicle, they replaced a clutch in our 1992 f250 7.3 back in 1998 runs perfect still today, Builders also rebuilt my transmissions in both my 1999 & 2001 z28 I previously owned, & last year rebuilt my 2003 f150 4x4, we have spent alot of money with Builders bc they have always done a outstanding job, Honest, & Warranty issues have never been a problem, had very few but only bc of my heavy foot, they stand behind their work %100 & very very honest. I highly recommend you let them inspect & repair your vehicle.

Tried to charge us for a dolly we didnt use, and had to give us a refund. The lady in the office was great and very apologetic, but I feel like the guy who charged us was legitimately trying to pull one over on us, and seemed really shady.
