Nothing but incompetence at this branch, from the owner down the line to his employees. Ive had nothing but issues with this agency for the last 7 years. The most recent issue was finding out my policy I purchased was tied to my old address. Once they said they finally changed my address in the system (after multiple previous attempts) the quotes for more policies, including auto, were again tied to my old address. I get a call from Matt saying theyd get everything corrected AGAIN and reimbursed....here we are weeks later and nothing. Save yourself the trouble and hassle of doing business with this agency and find one who knows what theyre doing. Hes all talk but doesnt get anything done. This agency only cares about making the sale and taking your money. Not to mention their rates are horrendous.

Been with Matt McCoy - State Farm for quite some time and haven’t had to file a claim (thankfully!!). Had a wreck on 9/11/19 where the other driver pulled out in front of me. They admitted fault, we filed a police report, and went about our business. Two weeks later the other drivers company denied liability and basically said, “Good luck.” McCoy wasn’t having it. Long story short, once I got my agent involved, it was smooth sailing. It’s going on three months, but there has been pretty constant communication via email and the State Farm app about the status of everything. Nice to know that when you are paying for something, you’ll get taken care of.

I had every single intention of using State Farm for all of my insurances (home, auto, umbrella). Mr. McCoy was chosen as my agent due to proximity to my home (this was done over the phone when I called State Farms main line after hours; mistake - I shouldve read reviews). I made multiple calls over about 6 months to Mr. McCoy to get my out of state auto insurance changed, and it was NEVER changed. As a result, I paid a lot more money than I would have otherwise if he had changed my insurance after my first phone call (because my former home city was much MUCH more expensive). The home insurance was enacted after one attempt. However, when I asked for a copy of my policy so I could understand what was actually covered (like water damage, etc), Mr. McCoy didnt understand my request. He sent me a copy of a SAMPLE POLICY (it even had watermarks all over it saying sample). Im not sure if that was a ridiculous question, but I dont think it was. Everyone says you should know what your policy actually covers. In addition, when I gave up and used a different company for car insurance, they (obviously) increased my home insurance premium, but didnt tell me or contact me in any way. I eventually called and asked them what the premium was, found it was MORE THAN DOUBLE my prior price, and immediately cancelled that policy and bundled my home and auto with a different company. The ONLY reason I changed companies was Mr. McCoys inability to complete the tasks I requested. I was looking for a reputable company, and so I wouldve stuck with State Farm even with the higher price tag. Save yourself some time and use a different State Farm agent in town. Theres several who have great reviews, and Im going to try them out for a different insurance I need.

0 customer service, after years of paying premiums, wife had an accident, it wasnt her fault, we tried to get them to help us, we were told they couldnt help us, we would have to contact the other guys insurance company, which happened to be State Farm, no help from this agent, none of thelike a good neighbor state farm is there not here. We now have Allstate insurance, very helpful.

I dont feel like they listen to what you need when you contact them. I purchased my wife a new vehicle in Feb, and contacted this office to update my drive safe and save discount. Here we are six months and numerous conversations later, they have yet to send me the new module for my wifes car. Now, I no longer receive that discount because i cannot set up the module and they keep telling me that it is ordered.We just moved, changed agents and guess what!?! Our new agent carries the modules at their office! Problem solved.
