I was given a pretty good estimate by the owner, but on the day of the job, the owner comes alone after 8:30am. In two an a half hours he did only three rows and did not put the liner underneath, plus there were several gaps in between the seams and loose lamenate due to not connecting the laminate wood properly. I Explained assertively why it was not acceptable for me and wanted it done properly. About 35 minutes later the owner leaves an says to me that hes not going to continue the job. I say ok. He left, I go upstairs an several pieces of laminate wood cut up an in a pile. Also underlay liner was ripped firm the middle waiting the whole role, an nudges on my baseboard where he tried to move the laminate flooring to get it even but messed up the laminate an left it there. As u can tell, Im loosing money, and time. Very unprofessional he was, and I would never suggest A-1 wood floors to anyone whos looking...I put 1 star because I cant put a half because he was on time... this is just my honest opinion as a homeowner since 2001. Maybe a bad day for him, but I will not call or refer them again.
