I could not believe the lack of professionalism. I truly feel as though the representatives I worked assumed I was uneducated and poor based on my race. They pretty much ignored me after I handed them paperwork to handle a family members taxes and gave me excuse after excuse as to while the taxes were not done. They made comments stating my credit card decline even though I had receipts showing they took the funds, which was the worst insult of all the insults I got from them trying to undermine my intelligence. This entire process took MONTHS before they (hopefully) submitted the taxes. If I can give them zero stars I would. I want to let everyone know that if you are black or are from the area, they are going to assume that you dont keep track of whats going on and that you dont have money to pay your taxes. They will do everything they can to make you feel small. Please DO NOT DO YOUR TAXES WITH THEM!

My tax advisor is excellent! I totally trust her I feel confident knowing she has my best interest in mind. My advisor is patient, knowledge and professional I am very fortunate that I was referred to her!

I had my taxes done with Shailaja in March.It took four meetings with her . Two in this office and two at the Weymouth office.I received a letter from the IRS last month stating that a version of the 2018 Schedule D contained an error and that I would receive a bill soon. Yesterday I received a bill for $5146.67 including penalties for not paying on time.They want it paid in 7 days!!!According to the IRS, this issue was know in May of 2019, yet Block did not give me a heads up that this was happening.I emailed the address on her business card. It was returned stating I was not allowed to use it?! I called the office and was given her other email address. I sent her an email and got no response. I then spoke to Amanda at the office and she said she would get back to me. I am still waiting.19 years I have had my taxes done by H&R Block. Never again!
