I called A-Tec to schedule a chimney cleaning and informed the lady that I spoke to of the brand of fireplace insert that we had. She was pleasant and professional and schedule a cleaning for the next week. When the technicians arrived, they appeared to be unfamiliar with the unit. They tried and did remove it partially from the hearth and broke several bolts attempting to remove the catalytic unit from the inside. Then they told us that they could not help us.

A-Tec has been great. We have had our wood stove and oil flues cleaned every season and they are always punctual, clean and thorough. We have also chimneys repointed and capped and those came out great too. They stand behind their service.
