Great experience. Lauren was very knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. She had me sold after 15 minutes. Justin was the installer. He arrived early, installed the leaf guards, and cleaned up afterwards. I was so impressed with his knowledge of roofing. He took his time to explain some roof issues I have. From start to finish, our experience with LeafFilter has been a positive one. The sales rep, Emma, was personable and professional, offering a plethora of information and answering our questions -- without being pushy. Too much of that would have turned us off completely and negated the sale! Our installer, Ted, arrived promptly and worked hard all day with only a short lunch break. He, too, was personable and professional -- and a perfectionist, which we greatly appreciated. He respected our property and our flower beds. Nothing was damaged. He threw the debris from our gutters (ugh!) far into the yard, and cleaned up completely afterwards. He also inspected the job carefully before leaving. If the product is as good as the employees weve encountered -- and we hope it is! -- well have made an excellent investment. Kudos to Emma, Ted, and LeafFilter!

My parents have had LeafFilter gutter protection on their home in Berea, OH for over 10 years. (Yes, more than a decade without cleaning gutters!) When, after all that time the filter mesh on one 4-foot section worked itself loose, LeafFilter replaced the damaged section under warranty. Clearly, the product has met the test of time with all the freeze/thaw cycles it has endured. Kudos to Dale, the local manager, and Bruce, who made the repair, for their business ethics and customer service orientation. (Pro Tip: Keep your local representatives number. In the unlikely event you need your LeafFilter serviced, it is better to call them than the LeafFilter call centers 800 number.)

Sales persons came out on 4/21, paid via check and was told check wouldn’t be cashed until after work was completed. Install was scheduled on 4/24, installer came on time and was very nice, but said he could install due to a roof design issue. Immediately after installer left install manager, Scott called and said they were doing some research and would have a solution to me by 4/27. 4/27 came and gone with no update, called Scott on 4/29 and could only talk to another install manager Dale. Dale let me know they were still researching and would get back to me on 5/3. Again no update on 5/3, called on 5/4 and left a message with the receptionist to have any install manager call me. Reviewed my bank account and found they cashed my check on 4/28, even though work was not completed. I received no call back and tried to reach out 3 times on 5/7 to the main office with a guarantee to get a call back before the end of the day, also called the sales rep. No one has responded to my multiple inquires and messages left. This is a terrible company and at this point has stole all the money I paid and has done zero work, without communicating any next steps. They claim to have the best technology, but from what I read it is a false bill of goods on top of the fact the customer service is absolutely appalling. You are better lighting your money on fire and hoping the ashes work as a gutter guards.

We had an excellent installation and just in time for some very heavy rainstorms. Our roof is very tall and has long and steep valleys. The Leaf Filter System performed very well, much like the demonstration provided by our sales representative. In fact, since we have a competitors system installed on part of the roof, I was able to see side by side performance during very heavy downpours and Leaf Filter was clearly superior. The installer was on time, courteous, and respectful of our deck and patio furniture and plants and our external HVAC components. After the install, he cleaned up the area completely and finished with using a leaf-blower to spruce up the areas.

I bought a Leaffilter system a little over a year ago and have encountered difficulty with the product keeping everything off of the surface of their product; creating a system that allows overflow when it clutters on the surface. MY complaint is in that they are misleading the public with their advertisement. In addition their sole warrantee is in that your gutters will not clog. (see attached)Well I guess not, they are covered. So they meet that guarantee, however let’s look at the other statements.It is advertised and depicted on their commercials that their system effectively sheds debris from its surface to allow proper operation of the system. It doesn’t, that is my issue and appears others are having the same issue as shown online reviews. Since it doesn’t keep the debris off the surface of their product (as stating in their advertisement) The system allows for overflow due to the buildup of debris on the screen surface, allowing future damage to my home via water damage.The surface captures leaves, shingle grit, trees seeds, leaves and pine needles. This build up, which is not supposed to happen; but it fills up on top and the water goes everywhere but in the gutter.It states it is completely sealed to protect my home, but they are not as this is not one molded piece and there are many areas on each side of the installation pieces that can leak back when clogged on surface.During the first year of its operation I had them come out and clean them off to work properly. No issue the first time. They cleaned them off.Once again I have a surface that continues to build up along the complete length. So I called to discuss this and get someone to come out and blow it off. (Exactly what I paid to prevent, going up there to clean…..dangerous as Leaf Filter states! These are their exact their selling points.They sent a rep out to review and clean off areas. He made his review and stated he will get with his supervisor to get me a recommendation. The inspector told me I have too many trees around my house causing the buildup. (Isn’t that what it is made to prevent) Well they are telling me it’s my fault as the trees are near the house. Quite frankly it is the edge of two trees. Therefore their implied and written warrantee is worthless to all.It only works if you don’t have trees around, but that is the whole purpose of their product; so why buy it! They need to change their advertising to reflect that in which it cures, but then they wouldn’t have any advertisement.This is just the beginning look over all the other complains...……...

I worked with this company for about 18 months and then joined the Navy. Well, it’s been over 3 years since then and I still haven’t been paid back the retaniage they withheld (paid back after 2 years). I’ve tried to contact their corporate office and they are either not available or do not return my calls, emails, or mailed letters. They make a good product, but if something goes wrong with their system, then good luck getting their help making it right.

We would not recommend Leaf Filter to anyone!! We had Leaf Filter put on our gutters. For as much as it cost us we expect to be done the way we were told it would be. We said absolutely said no holes to be put in shingles! That is just what they did!!!! The salesman that was out told us if we went with another company they would put holes in the shingles and Leaf Filter dont!! The salesman was really pushy demanding an answer before he left! He told us that the way it was done is not acceptable and would be corrected!! Be over a month now and not hearing back from no one!!! Be 2 weeks since we heard from salesman!! We are not happy the way it looks !! Looks nothing like on the video we were shown!! NOT HAPPY CUSTOMERS!! This is the most unprofessional business anyone would ever want to deal with I was supposed to have an installation done and they postponed it 4 times without calling or discussing anything with me , the supervisors are no help at all and clueless and after waiting a whole month and not getting anything done they are telling me I have to wait another 7 to 14 business days to get the refund of my deposit back in which I will believe when I see it having been lied to some many times and if some sales guy named Tony Neuhoff shows up to your home run the other way he is the epitome of the dishonesty and unprofessionalism of this entire company

I would give them no stars if I could... lieing cheating and down right horrible customer service. Over priced junk of a product and will not warranty their own product on their lifetime warranty !! 6 weeks later and no one from their company has come to pick up their old gutter guards laying in the yard and never put the new on that was warranted out. The job written up was not completed satisfactorily or as written. Wrong color drain spout installed and not sealed. Other spouts not sealed as agreed and the gutters were to be tightened and adjusted to re route flow after leaf filter installed. All gutters and spouts to be cleaned and resealed. 1st rain after job allegedly was completed water coming from places it had not been prior and apout spewing water at seam. Water coming from behind gutters and guttets not graded right for flow. I had to call a contractor to clear clog for $125.00 and have an estimate for and additional $480.00 to correct the issues that I had already paid way to much for Leaf Filter to do.

I’ve worked for this company for about 8 months. They are nothing but fantastic to the employees. Everyone cares about what they are doing and how diligently they do it. The product is also fantastic. I’ve seen bad reviews on here saying it is over priced. Of course you’re going to pay a lot for a fantastic product that is literally maintenance free and is a life time warranty! Great company. Great people. Great product!

I am very disappointed with their service after the sale and installation. In order to not void their warranty I must have the company come out and remove the leaf filter from my gutter so I can have a contractor replace a section of gutter damaged by the recent storms we had. I have called more than once to schedule the removal and they dont return calls. There is a cost for the removal and I am willing to pay, but I have had to cancel my gutter guy twice now because of their inability to return calls and schedule service. I was impressed with the system when I bought it but now I am having regrets. Did I mention that I had this installed a little over a month ago?

This was a great experience from the start, when I inquired about this service on Home Advisor I received a call back within 5 minutes after I pressed the send button . I made the appointment for someone to come out to my home two days later . The persons name was Lou he actually showed up 30 minutes early ( love that ) we hit it off from the start . Yes it was a long presentation but it was informative I also prepared myself I knew what other products were out there and the costs I always do my research. My wife and I decided to go with this product they started the next day in the rain I was impressed and they did exactly what they said they were going to do they cleaned my gutters and downspouts, they tuned them up and sealed them and even made repairs as agreed on the installers name was Cameron he was great and informative he did a fantastic job . Not sure why so many bad reviews about these folks they did a great job and gave me a great price with a great warranty. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.Thanks for a job well done !

WARNING SCAM ALERT! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! This company is horrible and lies to customers about their product. It does not work to protect your home from ice dams. Horrible customer service and horrible upper management! Darin Brooks the regional manager over my area cursed at me on the phone when I asked for a refund and then hung up on me! Not professional at all. That is not how you treat your customers that have paid a lot of money for your product. I am very appalled by Darin cussing at me and hanging the phone up on me. Ive never been so quick to leave a review for a company. Usually if I have a bad experience I let it roll off and move on with my day. I just had someone out to do a quote for what it would cost to have our gutters done.It started at the auto show where things were great. The guys who were there were great. Briefly went over the product, asked if we would like an estimate and took down our information. We were then contacted by a lady over the phone to schedule the appointment. She also was nice.Move to just now. We had a gentleman stop out to our house. He introduced himself, took some measurements, then came in side to go over things.It was a bit overwhelming, we had to listen to his life story, about what he did prior, about how he worked for other companies, how he lost out on his dads company because his step-mom didnt want him to have it when his dad passed away. Then how he did sales for other local companies that he actually named, but they were dishonest or had a bad product.His sales pitch involved showing other companies products and more or less bashing them. He claimed that LeafFilter sold itself, but most of the time was spent on how other systems were so inferior, or their warranties were terrible. To be honest, I want to hear about YOUR product, if its so good and sells itself, there shouldnt be so much focus on trying to bash other systems. It just doesnt show well in my opinion, and I dont care about the other products.Then it came down to the pricing. He first proceeded to tell us how much other companies would charge. Again, I dont care about them, and honestly dont really trust that you would give accurate pricing for them. Then came the price for the LeafFilter. We had no idea what to expect, and the reason we had someone come out to quote us. It started at one price. But then winter pricing that we would have to make a decision RIGHT NOW to get. Okay, Im not making what would be a bigger decision for us right in front of you. My wife also was not comfortable talking about finances in front of a salesman we just met. We asked if we could have a day to discuss it and he said wed lose out on an $820 savings for the winter pricing. Okay, if thats what it takes, but Im not making that decision in front of you. Then he said hed give us the friends and family discount which would save us an extra approximately $400. He said hed do that for us and hed just get a $25 gas card and no commission. At this point he was being a bit pushy. My wife was getting really irritated and said we needed to discuss it. At this point the salesman said that we wouldnt call back. Not a true statement. When my wife said I thought wed get the price and be able to discuss the investment before making a decision, he said that would be like your husband going to a home and doing an inspection and then not getting paid. The difference with my business is that I get information over the phone and I give an accurate quote over the phone so my clients know what they will be paying. My wife is a hair stylist and she said she gives free consultations and some people come back and some people dont. The salesman said good for you. When he realized we were not going to make the decision right in front of him, he got extremely irritated and quickly left. Im not sure why he would get so mad if the price he gave would only net him a $25 gas card.Honestly in closing, Im baffled and appalled at what went on in my home. What it comes down to now is that regardless of pricing, I will never put $1 towards LeafFilter. For a salesman to come in to my home and be so rude to my wife and make us so uncomfortable in our own home I couldnt do business with them. I truly wish I would have recorded the 2hrs he was here.

Youre salesman was rude and confrontational and tried to force me into making a purchase on the spot. Initial quote was thousands of dollars higher than what he ended up coming down to. My request was for a price quote. People want price quotes so they can compare your product and price to others. If you were less pressuring and respectful I would consider your product, but based off this interaction I want nothing to do with you or your product. Learn to be respectful of your customers.

SCAM!!! Horrible customer service and do not stand behind their product!! My husband and I had leaf filter installed on our home a few weeks ago. We signed a contract from the company that stated they would clean out our gutters, fix and realign and then install leaf filter. They came out and installed the product and it rained later that day after they left. Our gutters were clogging, overflowing and leaking. They had not been fixed or realigned at all. Have called customer services MULTIPLE times to get someone to come out and fix this for us. I keep being told they will call back and schedule someone to come out. I receive no phone call. I call again and am being told that someone came out when we werent home and fixed the problems. So why is it that our gutters are still not fixed and are still leaking!!!??? This company does not stand behind their product and their lifetime warranty. This is a waste of time and money. Luckily we have a signed contract of the work that we paid for and was supposed to be done and hoping that will withstand in court to get our money back.

I had the gutter guards that you buy at big box store and they just did not work, especially in the back with all the pine trees. The LeafFilter works wonderfully and is somehow quieter too. A fantastic improvement for our home. Salesperson was quick to come out and give us an estimate. Although it seems like a lot of money, I now have a worry free excellent product on my home and I like that the warranty stays with the house when we sell. The install guys were very nice, answered all my questions and made sure they cleaned up before they left. They even saved the old gutter guards and gutter supports I can donate to goodwill or sell at garage sale. Having this product on my home gives me peace of mind, and you can’t put a price on that. I highly recommended this product!

I had one of your salesman come out. I did not appreciate his approach to selling me your service at all. He was very pushy and almost confrontational. No salesman should ever question why I want a free estimate that by the way you offer. Nor should I be giving a fact like 85% of people sign up. I just moved into my house 6 months ago. Spending 6k dollars is not a decision I take likely and will not make right then and there. He didn’t want to give me time. I don’t want to hear about off season pricing or this and that. I want someone to come in my house and be respectful. By this visit I did not feel comfortable with your company. I don’t like how the price was 3 different prices. I just did not feel good about this at all. Don’t call your estimates “free” if you are going to force someone to make a big spending decision. He was trying to force my wife to be a part of the talk she did not need to be since a purchase wasn’t going to be made tonight. Also how he sulked angry out of the house when I said no was a bit much. I am very upset and do not appreciate any of this I wanted you to know. This will also make me think twice when I do decide to do something.

Took them 5 days to call and say their gutter machine was broken and should be fixed in a day. 4 more days went by and some guy called and said he was heading over to do the work. Contractors beware. I went to work for LeafFilter and lost money everyday until I finally had to file for bankruptcy. I was sent on multiple solo jobs with only one day of training so the jobs I was sent to could not be completed on my own. They only care about their bottom line, not the workers who actually make the company run. Liquidation will be a nightmare.

I learned about leaf filter at the Cleveland IX Centers, NARI show. 1 week later I received a call from leaf filter of Hudson, OH to schedule an appointment to obtain a quote for a cottage I am building. While scheduling, I was told that my husband had to be at the appointment as well as myself. I responded that my husband travels weekly and will not be able to meet. She then informed me that their policy states that both homeowners need to be present at the meeting. I assured her that I am the general contractor on the job and that I had permission to hire all subcontractors, including gutters. We then scheduled the appointment for Tuesday, January 31st at 1pm. I drove 1 1/2 hours for the appointment and they never showed up. When I called, they responded that they see the appointment scheduled for that day/time in the notes, however, it never made it to the schedule. Rather than an apology for THEIR mistake, I was informed that I cannot expect someone to show up when it never made it to their schedule. They then proceeded to go over their policy and that my husband needed to be there, however, they confirmed that the appointment was scheduled regardless. In the end, I was discriminated against and my time was wasted dealing with these unreasonable, rude people.

Unprofessional, arrogant, disrespectful, and disgusting: four words that come to mind when I think about our experience with LeafFilter Gutter Protection. The add in the Max Value Savings magazine offered a FREE ESTIMATE. The appointment setter told us there was no obligation and it would only take 15min. The salesman, dressed unprofessionally, at first complimented us on the house and wanted to small-talk and tell us stories. We could tell that he was really trying to drag it out, so I politely reminded him that it was supposed to be a 15 min appointment. He immediately got offended and thankfully skipped through his 3 binder full of information (like how many people DIE per year cleaning their gutters). He bragged and boasted about himself and talked down about his competitors. At this point, 45 minutes had passed and I needed to go. I offered that he finish his lengthy sales pitch to my wife and he started this both spouses need to be here-policy spiel but I left anyway. When I returned, my wife told me he asked how old she was and said she had beautiful eyes. Then, once he started really pushing the sale, she reminded him that this was a FREE ESTIMATE and he got angry and told her if youre not buying youre wasting my time and you shouldve done your research before calling us out here. He also said he wouldve left if we asked him to hurry up again. Meanwhile, he quoted us $16,000.00. I went to Home Depot recently and bought one 3-ft piece of snap-in gutter guard for $1.28. This sales guy is a complete SCUMBAG. What kind of company would let this LOSER treat people like that?!

Would give zero stars if I could. The Texas regional office sold gutters for approx $4000 to a friend . They are not able to get on a ladder to inspect their work , nor should they have to. Turns out, when you buy gutters from LeafFilter, you are not necessarily buying leaf filters. Who knew??? They bought $4000 for gutters ONLY because the salesperson failed to hand write in that Leaf FIlter should also include leaf filters. Checking the reviews on Indeed, an ex employee commented on how the salespeople are trained to be deceitful and misleading to bend the truth and rip people off. BEWARE!!!!!

This company does not take no for an answer. I (stupidly) gave my contact info in order to receive a free estimate for gutter guard at a French Market near me. After talking with my husband, we decided that we did not require these services but this company resorted to scare tactics, saying that they hope we dont fall off the ladder when were cleaning our own gutters. Also calling on a Sunday afternoon during a holiday weekend.... No thanks. I blocked the number they used to call me on and reported a scam call to White Pages.

Buyer Beware...Do not buy this product if you have pine needles! We have a log cabin in the woods and if there is a place you need quality gutter guards its there! When we purchased the guards, we were promised by our salesperson Chris, that pine needles would NOT clog these gutter guards! He in fact even guaranteed we would not have an issue. Well I can tell you, they dont work! The pine needles clog the gutter guards and the rain just literally rolls off the roof and down the foundation. Sent him pictures, videos and nothing! Not only does their product not work, they dont respond when you have an issue. Zero support! Also, these were recommended to us by some relatives and they were supposed to get a referral bonus. Guess what, they didnt follow through with that either. My final issue with Leaf Filter is that you are to register your warranty using a job number written on your warranty card. Yep, you guessed it, no job number! I wonder why? They claim to have all these satisfied customers on their main web site with NO clogs...I can assure you thats not true! Lookup other You Tube Videos. How can they claim zero clogs?? Dont waste your money if you have pine needles and a lot of trees around!

Decided to cancel contract for various reasons and requested my check be returned. Was told after having to contact Leaf Filter again that my check was shredded and that this sales person was not going to waste a stamp or any more time on a no sale. Quite disrespectful and when I stated that I would let everyone know this is how consumers are treated the response was yea like what you say will matter. If this is the way consumers are treated BEFORE a sale one can ONLY imagine after Leaf Filter has your money! There are many other gutters guards that will do the job for a lot less money as well.

We need to communicate better. The letter I received from you in bold letters and no individual signature was a bit over the top for this issue. The envelope addressed to me, my name spelled incorrectly and hand written in very large letters was a bit unprofessional.There has been absolutely NO CONTACT with me on my phone. The 800 lady told me the maintenance manager would be back to me the next day. I did not receive a call. Your 4 attempts were not at my number. You might need to check the numbers on our profile/work order/paid bill invoice once you made the sale. If you could not reach me. You should have called the primary phone number of my husband. He is the head of the household and made the final decision and ask me to handle this issue as he doesnt want to do it unless he sees no results from my contacting you.Please check my phone number as well as my husbands.I would like you to contact him and leave him a message to call you back to set an appointment to correct these issues.The comment listed on the letter said that this issue will be considered closed due to no response from me. Really?This will never be closed. You sold us on this product with the warranty of forever fixing anything that goes on with the filters you installed so we will remain an OPEN ISSUE account.4 attempts to contact me have not been successful.Check your records...CALL ME AND MY HUSBAND to make sure that you receive the communication we both are looking for to make us go away on this specific problem.

Met with a rep for this company at a local Home and Garden show a couple of weeks ago. The rep indicated he was the owner of the company and would be happy to come to my house to give me a free estimate. (He was not the owner) I received a call a couple of days later from an appointment setter who was professional but persistent. I made myself abundantly clear that I was only looking for a price. I was not going to be buying. I have never had a price quoted for gutters in the past and I never buy on the first quote. So having said all of that, she assured me it was a no obligation quote and someone would be stopping by for no more than 15 minutes. The person who stopped by did not appear to be a gutter sales rep or any type of sales rep for that matter... but more of a drug dealer type. I say that not only because of how he was dressed, but the way he spoke to me and the constant profanity he continued to use in my presence. No disrespect to drug dealers... I am basing this description from the role Aaron Paul played in Breaking Bad... Very similar. This highly unprofessional - want to be sales guy proceeded to hard sell/pressure me into making a decision to purchase his product. Even after I made it clear, I was not buying. He spoke very badly of the competition and bragged endlessly about how great he thought he was. He even went as far as to make a point of waiving his fake Bovado watch in my face while he did his 45 minute product demo in my sink. I tried to remain calm as I know the Roofing/Siding/Gutter companies all use a 1982 approach to sales in trying to close on the spot. I am imagining that this rep was listening to Glen Gary Glen Ross in his car on the way to my house and could probably recite the Coffee is for Closers monolauge by heart. My guess though... he has probably never won anything more than the steak knives... After an hour and thirty minutes, and telling him more than 20 times i was not buying anything form him... I literally had to walk over to the door, open it and stand there until he left. This guy bragged endlessly about how great this company is. The product, when compared to the others he brought seemed really good... So why if this is the case does the owner (whos name is Matt...) allow someone like this guy to come to my house and act like he did (in front of my kid) and miss represent so badly the product and the company? Sales in 2016 are not made this way...

I had Leaf Filter at my house yesterday for an estimate. The first estimate was $ $8000.00 + The fourth and last estimate was $2600.You would have to be a fool to trust this company at any price.

We called for an estimate and the man that came was very rude when we asked for a copy of the estimate. We never buy on the spot and he did not like the fact that we wanted to discuss this before we purchased. Guess you lost our services. Would never recommend you to anyone else.
