We had been using a dehumidifier unit for years in our basement, but never really got the air dry.We had Superior install a large unit that was integrated with our HVAC system. The salesman Tim was top notch, as were the installation team, Jose and Derick. Now I will sign up for their service contract. and I feel very comfortable that they will meet our standards.

I needed to have a whole new central air AC unit installed at our home. Everyone from the sales rep, the project manager and the crew that came to install were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The installation crew - Christian & Shaun were terrific. I cant say enough about them! They did a fabulous job, they answered all my questions, stayed to be sure all was working properly and even vacuumed up their mess inside the house when done! During this hectic summer, we were very pleased to contract with Superior Comfort for the installation of Mitsubishi Split systems in our newly purchased house. Chad, the initial contact, was great in designing an efficient and well-laid out system. The installers were great, too! Matt and Derek were a terrific team. They did excellent, efficient and tidy work. There was one change in the layout, for unanticipated aesthetic reasons, which they laid out and executed without complaint. We are completely satisfied with Superior comfort!

After 20 years of operation, it was time to replace the 3 geothermal units in my home. I went through the usual process of gathering quotes for what would become a very expensive project. Fortunately the 26% tax credit would offset some of the cost. Ultimately I chose Superior Comfort to do the job even though their quote was the highest. The original units had been primarily serviced by Superior Comfort and I had developed a level of trust and confidence in their company. The choice to pay more was based on believing that the installation and future service of this complex system would be done with greater expertise than the other companies.Replacing the old units with the new took just 3 days. The crew that performed the work were first class. Sean , the foreman, came back a couple of times to adjust blower speeds. His attitude was always friendly and conscientious.The new units are working perfectly and should last 25 years. I dont think Ill be around when they need replacement, but I suspect Superior Comfort will.

I didnt directly hire or pay Superior Comfort, but our landlord did. I have to say that he made a great choice in doing so. Our existing central air system in the business was from the 1980s and was very tired. They came in and swapped it out with a brand new TRANE setup, and had everything up and running in one day. The two techs were professional, trustworthy, and made sure everything was clean and looking great before they left. They removed the old system and any trash they created, and answered all of our questions. The new one is so quiet and efficient, and I look forward to seeing a lower electric bill. I needed to have our 75 year old oil furnace finally replaced with a new gas furnace. I received 3 quotes from 3 local HVAC companies that had good reputations as I did research and got feedback from friends and family. I decided to have Superior Comfort do the job. Their quoted price was not the lowest but in the ball park. Im glad I picked them, 2 techs showed up first thing in the morning, was done by 3pm. They had a salvage company come out the next week to pull out my old furnace and oil tank, they were great too, friendly, did good fast clean work.

Superior Comfort sent out a professional, polite and efficient crew to install new air conditioning - one slight problem caused the upstairs condenser not to work when the system was up and running - was repaired immediately. The installers arrived early each morning during the 4 day installation - repair work was handled by a different technician, who was both responsive and highly competent. We are very pleased with the resulting coolness!

Alex came same day and stayed for hours until the job was done well. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and stayed until almost 9pm answering all our many questions. So very grateful for him and the companys responsive and professional service!!

We installed ac in the whole house this year. It is an expensive investment and we were recommended to Superior Comfort by many people on Aquidneck Island as well as the great reviews.The team that worked on it were very professional and did it on time and as planned.About two months in we noticed water stains around the new ac vents in the bedrooms. The people at superior comfort came and “fixed it”. About three weeks later here we are again with new water stains around the vents.It was not done right the first time or the second time. This is an expensive investment and I would assume a company that does this every day could get something like this right the first time. We are frustrated and feel a bit cheated. We paid for high quality and peace of mind that it was done right and that has not been our experience.

When they saw our house, they decided to try and price gouge us. If you have doubts, try this on for size, they were $7000 more expensive to install 4 Air Cleaners than all other quotes. $14000 for air cleaners and Duct work?!(UPDATE: As you can see from their response, they must be exceptionally better than everyone else to be me a lot more expensive. Try again! Adding some some ductwork and Air cleaners should not be $14000! It sounds like they may have an issue with having too many guys, and mouths to feed, on the job. I received five other quotes from reputable and quality companies and they were all thousands of dollars less. Thousands! Also, I checked on something else, after my review, they smothered negative reviews with reviews from people who didnt even work with them. Stay away!)They wont be taking advantage of me or anybody else I know, because I wont be recommending them.

Superior Comfort was great to do business with. First of all they called the day prior to confirm the appointment. The technician was extremely professional and personable. He explained exactly what he was going to do and even drew a diagram. The first time they came, he was not able to complete the job because he determined the drip pan needed to be changed and would need to be ordered. They came back the other day, and completed the job. Again, he explained what would be done and then when complete, he showed me the work and exactly what was done. We needed ducting replaced in our cottage due to an animal infestation. Lyndon and Josh T., technicians from Superior Comfort, did an excellent job. Our AC broke during the hottest couple weeks weve seen this year. After calling the company that installed and having no response, I called 3 other people closer to us. No one returned my call. I called Superior Comfort after my boss recommended them and they were wonderful. They not only got me scheduled immediately but called me two days early and said they could come. They were right on time and my technician, Allen, answered all my dumb questions and did not make me feel like an idiot for asking so many. In under an hour, I had a fully working AC. These guys are fabulous and I highly recommend them!

Superior Comfort installed a new ducted heat pump system in my house. The entire process was very easy and efficient, from the quote to the installation. They were in and out in two days and had many people focused on this job. They were all very professional and explained everything.

We used Superior Comfort for installation of mini-splits in five rooms in our home. We had nothing but professional, courteous staff every step of the way. From our initial consultation to the installers working non-stop in a heat wave, we couldn’t have been happier with the service. Our house wasn’t the easiest to work in, and they never complained. Our new systems are working flawlessly, and the only thing we’d change is having it done much sooner.

They put in over a 14 hour day just to make sure everything was perfect and that we were happy with the install. They were also flexible and respectful of my schedule (as I work from home). Superior Comfort actively does maintenance on my Geo Thermal HVAC. The service they did today was install an 80 gallon hot water heater while removing the old one. They also installed extra hot and cold water shut off valves for every bathroom in the house. The service techs relocated the new hot water tank with all new plumbing and wiring. While there were some obstacles to overcome, the service guys were patient, thoughtful, respectful to the home and kept me informed every step of the way. They assured me they would not leave until everything was working perfectly and to my satisfaction as well as theirs. They also reassured me if there was anything that needed attention they would be back quickly to address it. I cant say enough about the service I received today from Superior Comfort HVAC.

We had Jeremy come out and do a regularly scheduled maintenance on our furnace. Superior Comfort were able to get us in quickly (within the week). Jeremy checked everything out for us and preformed all of the preventative maintenance. Through no fault of his or the company, a few days later one of the parts malfunctioned and we called the emergency service and they came out immediately and got our heat back up and running in no time. Great experience, professional employees and well absolutely be using them again in the future.

After two failed visits from a plumber we called Superior to see if they could figure out our hot water/water pressure issue with the water heater. Joe showed up the next day (and Jeremy later joined him) and was determined to get to the bottom of the issue- and he did just that. Joe found several things the plumber overlooked, including an issue that could have caused a massive leak and a pipe that was so blocked with deposits that water was barely passing through. I’m thrilled to report that we now have awesome water pressure and lots of hot water.

They are for some reason loathe to praise the employee when the quality of work and professionalism meets or exceeds expectations.So let me depart from the norm and complement the work done by Ryan and Evan yesterday installing our replacement Fujitzu indoor and OUTDOOR unit.I cant really tell how well the installation work went. Time will tell. But it is blowing hot air now and that was the objective and so far so good.But as you know, yesterday was the absolute coldest day we have had this winter. I mean it was miserably cold. I put air in two of my tires and I thought my hands were going to freeze solid. They had to do a lot of the installation work outside in that freezing cold wind. We offered them coffee and invited them to come inside to warm up any time they needed. They rarely did, if ever did. Evan volunteered between the two of them to take care of the outside unit. Both were willing to spell each other.I was impressed with their work ethic. No goofing off at all. They were very nice, hard working, courteous, pleasant and respectful. They were a credit to Superior Comfort and I thought you and Jacob should know that.It seems you have a couple of keepers in Ryan and Evan.Best, Pete

Superior Comfort installed a new gas furnace for us in an extremely tight space. Despite this challenge, the installation was top notch, the furnace works great and it is much quieter than our old system. A huge improvement. The employees were professional, polite and respectful, and went the extra mile for us. I recommend highly.

Superior Comfort installed a new gas furnace in my home in the middle of winter when my old furnace died. The techs and installers (Alex and Jeremy; Tyler and Jared ) were totally professional throughout. Given this was an emergency situation with temperatures in the single digits and teens, the install was completed within 24 hours and the job finished on a Saturday. In the interim, when I was without heat, they were quick to pick up and deliver space heaters to keep the condo from freezing. I totally recommend their services.

In October 2020, Superior Comfort replaced four forced hot-air furnaces and three AC systems in our 34 year-old house. They were prompt, attentive, clean, thorough, respectful and a pleasure to work with. Chad and Jose spent 6 days at our house, and Kyle and Christian spent another day and a half finding and fixing eleven micro-leaks in our gas piping (including 2 gas hot water heaters and a gas dryer) and bringing our full system up to snuff. The four of them put in full days and left everything neat and clean when they left at the end of each days work. They and Jeremy have served us very well.

Our Triangle Tube natural gas water boiler kept overheating and shutting down. The company that originally installed it (10 yrs. ago) were unable to correct the problem after 2 service calls. While the quote was slightly higher than the competitors, I felt their approach on a number of challenges were better solutions than the ones provided by competitors. So 5 stars for being a one-stop shop!!The team arrived on time on day one and accomplished everything they said they were going to do. They were extremely professional and they explained everything they were doing. All my questions were answered satisfactorily.. They were efficient and cleaned up after their work.On day two the last of the duct and electrical work was completed and the system fired up and the difference in the humidity and temperature was noticeable.I did have one small issue that i caused myself and called in a trouble ticket. When i realized what i had done (furnace cover left ajar) i called back and cancelled the ticket, but Jeremy called me back in 20 minutes anyway and explained that and other things that I could potentially troubleshoot before calling in a case. Superior Comfort did an amazing job installing AC and heating in our home! After another company came out and told us we would be unable to have ducted AC in our living room because it was on a slab with no basement underneath, we had Superior Comfort come by and they were able to route it from the ceiling. It works great and they even took the time to walk us through the routine maintenance and thermostat operation. They finished the entire install in less than a week and worked cleanly never leaving saw dust or any tools or materials out after they finished working for the day. My main boiler had a critical failure during the winter and the team at Superior responded immediately, removing the old system and installing a new one in a couple days. Three weeks after moving into a new home with a Geothermal heating/cooling unit, we realized the coil was leaking and the drain pan was cracked, which left us without AC in the dead of summer. I reached out to Superior because of their great reviews, and they were an authorized dealer for the brand we owned. They were amazing every step of the way. They were very responsive to my initial inquiry even though they had never worked on the unit in this house before, got me a quote with me just sending some pictures to them saving me the diagnostic visit since I knew what was wrong, were very communicative about the parts being ordered and estimated arrival, and even moved up my service when the parts came in before expected. They handled the warranty claim with the manufacturer, and stuck to their initial quote. The tech who came out, Gary was also great. It was a large job, but he made sure it was done right, and answered my questions along the way.I can’t say enough good things about this company. They made a very stressful situation for us much much better, and we can now enjoy our new home again. I will definitely use them for maintenance going forward and eventual replacement.

Back when I bought my first home I replaced the old radiator heating system with forced hot air, with the benefit of having it ready for AC whenever I was ready- why did I wait so long! The Superior Comfort team was very professional from initial quotation, followup questions, project planning, and on-site installation. They kept us well apprised of the schedule and stayed late to ensure that everything was completed on time. We love our Mitsubishi system and highly recommend the Superior Comfort team.

We were hit with a non-functioning central A/C right at the first heat wave--so to speak. I did not know your firm and first went to the people who installed the unit 5 years ago and they couldnt get anyone here until mid-July--unacceptable.So, I got your # through Home Advisor and you promised service tech in 3 days. He came out in 3 days; was very professional and told me it seems we had a leak in the refrigerant, but he couldnt immediately detect where and how bad. He put a dye in the system to see what he could. The bill was $410.00. To be truthful, it seemed a bit over the top in price. I had no way to debate it. I knew the last time (in 2019) when we had refrigerant put in, the charge was $139.00. I also know the price from the refrigerant is based on how much. I did not get the idea from the service rep how much he had to replace. It wasnt on the bill, which was minimal in scope.So--the unit is working--thats a plus. How long before I need more--who knows? Was the price too high? I think so--was it based on length of service call--not exceptionally long? Amount of refrigerant used vs normal-I have no idea? Is it fixed for the rest of this summer? I have no idea?

We recently had Superior Comfort do an installation for us. They did an amazing job on it and the space was spotless when they left. Jeremy Ellis met us to walk through how to use the system and arrived right on time. Jeremy made sure we understood how to use the equipment, but also took the time to explain how to use it in a manner that was most efficient. Jeremy made it all completely understandable. We hire Superior Comfort to install a few mini splits in our home. The entire company from the back-office staff to the guys on the installation team where courteous, profession, and knowledgeable. Would hire then again and recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

This week my husband and I had the bad fortune of our boiler failing but the good fortune of contracting with Superior Comfort to help us with this problem. Complicating the situation was the pandemic and quarantine, Superior Comfort was the only company out everyone we called willing to come to our house, size up the problem and present us with a solution. Turns out we needed an entire new boiler (we were prepared for this as the old boiler had been in use for some 50 years). Superior Comfort’s response to our need was immediate, professional, friendly from the initial phone contact to the salesman’s visit, to the technician’s visit, to the install guys (can’t say enough good things about these guys) and everyone showed up geared with protective masks, gloves, shoe booties and remembered to social distance. Superior Comfort even handled a one year interest free line of credit to help us pay for the job. We highly recommend this company to handle you home heating needs.

I was in the process of installing a professional model gas range, but I had been having a lot of difficulty gathering information and opinions on make-up air systems. In spite of the fact that I was looking for information only and that I wasnt in the market to buy anything, the folks at Superior Comfort (Jeremy and the young woman who initially answered the phone), spent more than one half hour on the phone with me providing detailed and incredibly helpful information.

Superior Comfort installed a new furnace and AC coils on our condo last month. We had a gas leak that needed to be addressed quickly. They were there for 2 days and did a great job. Left the space clean and also reinstalled a section of the furnace that was sticking out into our living space. Derek, the sales rep also filled out the RI National Grid rebate form on our behalf and submitted it. Wonderful!I would recommend them to others for sure. We just had Superior Comfort install a mini-split system in our home. From the beginning I found the customer service to be outstanding. Derek came to the house for the estimate and when I had follow up questions his response was immediate. He worked with us to stay within our budget. When it came down to the installation, Jeremy, the project manager, came to the house and worked with me on placement of the units before the crew came to do the install. This step provided me to move items out of the way to make way for a smooth install. The two installers, Chad and Jared, were very knowledgeable, efficient and polite. At the conclusion of each work day, over two and a half days, they cleaned the work areas completely. At the conclusion of the job Chad went over the operation of the system. Jeremy followed up a day later coming out to the house to go over the National Grid rebate form and if we had any questions.We received estimates from other companies and it came down to Superior Comfort and another company, who advertises heavily in the local market. I had to call this company several times to reach the salesman who came to the house. This company was slightly less for the same system, however, I was not impressed with the customer service. We are so glad we went with Superior Comfort. I look forward to working with them in the future.

I did not use this business, but they surely do not check who’s driving their vans. The drivers are very reckless and almost caused an accident. Just a heads up to the company.

We recently used Superior Comfort for a high end build in Weekapaug RI. They installed geothermal systems in two new buildings. The experience could not have gone smoother. Superior Comfort just installed a full mini-split system in our 2 bdrm condo. They were wonderful to work with, from the office personnel to the installers/techs. They were helpful, friendly and professional. Mike had to build custom soffits to cover the hoses/wires and was meticulous in his work, making sure everything looked perfect. Additionally, he made sure he kept the area clean and didnt spread dust all over when sanding the compound.Thank you to ALL who worked on this job and for the comfort of a cool living space.

Superior Comfort upgraded my HVAC system in September 2018 from an 80% system to an energy efficient 96%. The project manager, Derek Beaulieu was fantastic to work with, ready to brain storm remedies to possible installation issues, provide prompt responses to questions and make sure the right people were available to do my somewhat complicated installation. Derek was onsite until 8pm the final day of the install making sure I had air conditioning during a current heat wave!The lead installer on my project, Chad is also an asset to this company arriving on time with a smile and great attitude throughout the install.
