I called on Tuesday morning with car problems. They were busy, but said if I could drop it off they would look at it when they could. They were able to diagnose and repair my car by Wednesday.Everyone I talked to was super-friendly and helpful! I think I may have found a new mechanic in Brighton.

I went there for an estimate on getting my air conditioner fixed. There were two older gentlemen there and they treated me like a clueless female. Told me piston in my air conditioner blew and put metal shards throughout the air system. They quoted me over 1K to fix it and said maybe more. I got it fixed at a reputable place for $200. I do not recommend them for anything. They are thieves. They never even looked at my car. The reputable company told me there is a valve not really a piston and it would take something extreme to blow the system up. Brighton Auto & Diesel Clinic is not to be trusted.

Derek and Dylan performed a pre-purchase inspection on the used car (2013 VW Tiguan) I bought. I arrived about 25 minutes early and they got my car right in. Upon the completion of my inspection, Derek and Dylan explained everything in great detail. Derek even allowed us to go into the shop and examine the car while it was on the lift. He showed me everything that they looked at, including some issues that may need to be addressed in the future. He quoted me prices on the repairs including labor which were more than reasonable. This was especially helpful since I am not proficient in car mechanics. They inspected the car quickly and thoroughly. I couldnt be more pleased with their customer service and professionalism. Highly recommend this shop.

Very honest people that get the job done quickly without giving ya the run around or suggesting repairs that arent necessarily needed. Brighton Auto Clinic does have two very friendly dogs that great you at the door. My only critique is a lack of mask wearing during these odd covid times.

Brighton Auto and Diesel had to remove the transmission in my F150 in order to replace the fly wheel. In so doing, the mechanic damaged the transmission oil pan. The damage was severe enough to create a weak spot that eventually leaked – when I was in Estes Park (I live in Brighton). Replacement of the oil pan and the expense of a rental car, not to mention the inconvenience, was not insignificant. When brought to their attention, they eagerly avoided taking any responsibility and refused to discuss an amicable settlement. Their string of oafish excuses designed to excuse any culpability completely avoided the central issue. This is a repair shop to avoid. The marginal skills of their mechanics may be up to effecting a repair but, their ethics as they pertain to customer care is nonexistent.

This father and son operation is one of the most helpful business Ive ever dealt with.I have a pilot car business and escort the super loads all around the country. I reported for a job and the first day my entire brake line system completely failed.By grace I ended up in the care of this father and son business. I just couldnt have been treated any better.In my world my vehicle literally depends on weather I work or not.They had to build the entire system by hand. They stayed late and started early and still came in under the estimated price.If you need anything for whatever vehicle, do not hesitate to call this establishment.You will NOT be dissatisfied

This was my first time Bringing it here and I had an absolute amazing experience. I am skeptical of taking my car to shops in the first place but everyone here that I came in contact with was friendly, honest and genuinely cared for their customers. I recently took my S.U.V. to Brighton Auto & Diesel Clinic. I had an emergency with the motor of my vehicle. A spark plug shot out of the top of my motor, which for me was a major emergency. Within 24 hours the spark plug was replaced, a tune up to my engine was complete, and I got an oil change to complete my vehicles service. The staff was very friendly and I recieved a 10% discount that they offer to Military, First Responders, and Teachers.

Rick and the guys here are amazing. Me, my wife, and my mother in law go here for all of our mechanical needs. These guys always get the job done right, are honest, very fair prices, and are just straight up good people. I highly recommend going here! Its hard finding a good and honest mechanic and this place is the place for it here in Brighton.

This is a very good local repair shop with certifications and auto and diesel repair. The elders have great personalities and truly keep the customers best interests in mind.

Firestone and Pepboys quoted me $1200+ for my A/C issues I was having on my explorer. Rick was up front with the time frame he would need to do the repair. Walked me through exactly what needed to be done and what was optional. No, his shop isnt fancy but I saved over $1000 by waiting 1 day and choosing a local mechanic/ small business owner instead of a corporate one. He has my familys business for life.

I worked here for 2 weeks and some how cleaned up the cars that needed work but Rick does NOT take care of his employees($600 for a 2 week pay period and i got 10 cars DONE) i doubt this shop will be around for much longer.Kodiac is a great tech but this shop isnt going to help with how things are being ran.honestly i cant believe how Rick treats his guys. He needs to put up the cap before he loses the last bit of sanity he has left.

My wife and I had an excellent experience with Brighton Auto Clinic, we had a Town & Country 2005 Van, which we had taken to three mechanics before Rick in trying to get a knocking sound that was well within the engine (not the lifters). Rick, the owner, whom by the way is an intelligent, extremely knowledgeable mechanic, told us exactly what was wrong. There was no ambiguity, about what needed to be done. He took the engine apart twice, as this was an extremely challenging problem which by the way the dealer had quoted me thousands for, without a definitive solution... Anyhow, under Ricks guidance, the mechanics solved the problem and it feels like Im driving a new car. My Van runs quiet, and responds very well to accelerations. You would think a Magician worked on it. We also saved thousands due to the efficient way they work on cars. We found a mechanic for life, not because on of the experience above, but because after chatting with Rick on several occasions, I discovered that Brighton Auto Clinic is operated by good fair practices, and very high standards. The first thing you notice at the desk, is a computer that they sometimes uses to explain highly technical stuff to people like myself. My impression of Ric and his associates at Brighton Auto Clinic was great! I had screeching noise that just came out of nowhere on my Dodge Van about a week and a half ago while driving back home on I-25. My own untrained initial thought was maybe a bearing was going bad somewhere on the transmission, So,..i called the Dodge dealership that i usually go to, and they were booked up for at least a month before they can even look at it to find the problem. Well,..i couldnt wait that long, and to be honest, the situation left me irritated since ive heard this several times before from them. I dont expect miracles, but having your vehicle tied up for 4 to 6 weeks when its your main work vehicle is unacceptable!!! I called around, and found Ric and his partners, and Im glad it did! Not only did Ric pinpoint the exact problem, but fixed it in a day!!! Dropped it off on Monday morning and he was done by the end of that day!!! And it RUNS GREAT! It turns out that it was A/C Compressor/w Clutch. I know i got lucky and that doesnt usually happen, but i was shocked and amazed at the quality work that was done in such a short amount of time. Plus Ric found other related small issues that he fixed that im certain the other guys wouldnt have bothered with. After talking for a few minutes with Ric, i discovered what a honest, nice, and all around good guy he and his partners are. From now on, any mechanical issues i have,..Ill be taking my business to Rics Brighton Auto Clinic.

Called to see if they could install my o2 sensor. I had the part and all I needed was to install it. A simple unfortunately we dont install parts that dont come from us wouldve been nice. But no. Who ever answered the phone decided to give me attitude when I asked for more detail as to why they wont install it. He said well you dont bring your own food when you go into a restaurant do you ? That was very rude and it will be my first and last time going to them for help with my car. I found his reply unnecessary and inconsiderate. Thats terrible customer service right off the bat and I have never even set foot in the place. Dont be surprised if you get attitude on your way in or out

I wouldn’t take a golf cart here! They had my truck for 3 weeks to look at a power steering leak. I got it back and it was still leaking. I deployed and they had my truck for the last two months I was gone. Picked it up after I got back and it had a turbo howl and was now leaking oil. I had to fix the turbo howl mysel and brought it to Colorado transmission and diesel where they fixed it correctly. The technician there said everything they did was loose and whoever worked on it before had no business working on cars! Long story short nextime I’ll wait for an appointment at the other shop!

Spoke with one of the two people that work at the shop on Monday, we scheduled the repair for the following Wednesday, to pick up the car Thursday. Dropped the car off Wednesday as planned and was surprised to find that they had not ordered the part to fix my car and all the shop employee would tell me is that he has never done business with me before. The man acted like he had no idea that I was brining my car in that day as we had discussed on the phone. Very sorry I trusted this person with a scheduled repair. Now I’m back to the drawing board finding a shop that can get it done. Don’t trust this business with a scheduled repair. In terms of customer relations, the word is incompetent. This establishment was a complete waste of my time.

Take photos of your car before you take it here. Large dent/scratch in the passenger door when I picked it up... which was 2 days later than estimated. Was told it was there when it was dropped off. Supposed to open at 8am, nobody was there at 8:15am. Did work on the vehicle that was not requested. I dont know how many times he said he would call me back in 15 minutes and then it was the next day before I heard from him. Dont take your car here unless it is already a beater and you have 2 weeks to go carless.

We got brakes done here and had to replace rotors and brake pads after Six months never going back look for a honest shop in Utah I was a manager of a shop seen it all but saying you did work when you didnt or using crappy parts just shows the quality of the shop
