Peter and his company were fantastic. I highly recommend them. They were courteous, professional, knowledgeable, on time and completely trustworthy. As you can see in the the first two pictures, one of our bedrooms had tile glued down onto the hardwood floor. The next two pictures are what that room looks like now. He refinished my whole house and he did an amazing job, we couldnt be happier.

We own a a Georgian Home that was built in 1947 with original oak floors that required a full sanding and refinishing. I called Peter to get an estimate and he arrived at our house less than 24 hours later. After we agreed a price we scheduled a date- we had to complete work over 2 days due to furniture. Peter arrived at 7am sharp on both days as scheduled and he did an excellent job. He also left a minimal amount of dust and his work is very meticulous. Unlike a lot of other tradesmen, Peter was very prompt and got the work completed exactly on schedule. The floors look very sharp and we were very pleased with his work. If you own an older home with original hardwood floors that need refinishing to add a more modern feel to your home, I would highly recommend his work

Peter was wonderful, I had old wood flooring and a 14 year old dog that had many accidents over the years. Peter made the floors look brand new again. Just beautiful. Pro flooring prices were cheaper then many others . I will be telling everyone I know to call Peter for any flooring needs.

BEWARE WHO YOU ALLOW IN YOUR HOME! I contacted Peter to request an estimate on tile removal and reinstallation. He was responsive, professional, and available right away to look at the work I wanted done. I explained to him my specific goals on how and when I wanted to start the reinstallation work if hired to remove my tiles and possibly reinstall (and of course based on the estimate he provides). He said he would give me an estimate within an hour.A few hours later he called me back and instead of providing the estimate (which is what we both understood is the 2nd step after coming by to see what needs to be done)...but, he was more concerned with why I dont want the work done all at once and he had the audacity to tell me in a demanding tone, MY DECISION made no sense. After a few times of trying to convince me to get it all done in one day, he then yelled and said IF YOU STOP RUNNING YOUR MOUTH (because I continued to disagree with how I wanted to go about services I pay for) I will understand why I should go with his recommendation as if hes covering the service costs. I welcome recommendations but I dont necessarily go with them all, and that was the wrong thing to do with Peter. His Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde personality not only threw me off guard, but my daughter too, as I had him on speaker phone because I was in the middle of working on something with her since he didnt call me back within an hour as he said he would. And I expected him to provide the estimate which would have been a quick, heres how much I will charge to remove your tiles and heres how much to re-install response, but he never provided it because he was more concerned with getting it done all at once. And it was apparent he spent a few hours trying to come up with the best persuasive reason why I should put my trust in him which is why he took longer to call and instead of providing the estimate to determine whether or not we will move forward with the removing the tiles FIRST, he goes off because I should agree with removing and reinstalling all in one day.The best lesson I learned was to request a list of licensed and bonded contractors from my village because it would give me a more realistic idea of a persons creditability, credentials, and experience in working with others. Receiving a current list of general contractors from the village also gives a peace of mind that work is conducted according to state/city regulations and with proper permits to avoid fines and possible risk of damages or personal injuries. It was a good lesson for my daughter too because of how the world is, she will likely be in a situation with someone who first appears to be respectable then tries to persuade/con her on how she should think or spend her hardworking money. So since then, I make sure to conduct a deeper screening on the people who enters my home to mitigate any possible risks of them returning back unwelcomed and I confirm whether they are insured and bound with a legal agreement. So, thank you Peter for the lesson! Maybe covid was the cause of your behavior and not a Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde condition but either way, I pray that you find your peace!

Hired pro flooring to refinish our floors and they did a great job. Job was done on time and our place was left clean.

Had hardwoods refinished in one room and installed in another to match. Peter was very responsive and professional. Scheduling and work was done quickly. The floors are beautiful - I have gotten many compliments on them.

We first hired Pro Flooring to stain the flooring in our den last year. They created the exact look we wanted. We were so happy with them we asked them to come back to install hardwood flooring in a bedroom and sand and stain our entire upstairs. Very happy with the look. Peter is professional in all ways-expertise, respect and timing. And the price is competitive. Couldnt be happier.

These guys did an amazing job on refinishing the hardwood floor in my bedroom. There was a lot of damage to the floor (where a closet used to be) and the way they fixed it, you would never have guessed a closet was there! Im doing backflips over how pretty it is. They do better work than guys Ive hired that have 20 or 30 years experience. I think the difference lies in the level of care. You can see they take pride in their work and want to make sure you are happy. They were prompt, respectful, professional and worked very hard until the job was done. I will never hire anyone else to do my floors and Im highly recommending them to friends and family. Im thrilled with my new room. Price wise, they were competitive. They used high quality materials and didnt cut corners or try to screw me over (like some other contractors). Fantastic job. Beautiful work. Nice people to do business with. Im very happy I hired them.

This is the best company that I have ever worked with. They are on time, great skills, and very helpful. I recently bought a home in Oak Lawn. We wanted to remodel the home and started pulling out the carpeting. We found hardwood floors that looked like they went through hell and back. We wanted to take them out and put in new ones. Peter said that if we want to save money, we should leave the old ones in and he will refinish them and make them look brand new. And thats exactly what they did. Not only did they do an awesome job but they helped me save money!!!!! We also added new hardwood floors in the kitchen and dining room. These guys did such an awesome job that you wouldnt even tell which floors are the new ones and which ones are the old ones. WOW!! Their name says it all, these guys are definitely PRO!

Hired to sand hardwood floors after many years of carpeting. Did well with sanding the middle of the floor but edges turned out poorly. On time and got the job done, but after closer look noticed extensive lap marks from edge sanding throughout even after buffing for many hours with 80 & 100 grit screens. Couldve used the buffer longer but shouldnt have had to.

Came over on time for estimate, allowed me to change my mind several times about type of stain used and put down several samples. showed up everyday at 700am sharp. actually talked me out of spending more money than needed. this guy knows wood.
