ZERO STARS but no other way to leave this review without one, which this business does not deserve!!We called over the weekend to get the stores hours, we were told 2-7pm. NO MENTION that an appointment was needed for rentals!Upon arrival, my family was subjected to a rude little man who reprimanded our 7 year old granddaughter for no reason. He was nasty in general, acted as if he was doing them a favor waiting on them.It is very sad in this economy that a small business owner is not grateful and appreciative that the community is there to support a local business.......we will NEVER go back again.

Person was very rude on the phone. So not necessary. I am hopeful someone else opens a ski shop with at least decent customer service, especially during these difficult COVID times when a little common courtesy can go a long way.

I have never talked to a person so rude just to get my skis tuned. You should be lucky we want to give you business during this time. Ill take my business elsewhere.

The person at the shop is rude and an alcoholic. He wouldn’t sell our family skis because he said he was too busy, even though we called the day before and he said he had a lot of available skis. I highly recommend you don’t come here

Aside from the grumpy salesman, I rented for my kids this season and when we got to Mohawk to ski yesterday, when my daughter went to put her boot into the binding, it had never been adjusted. Additionally, the workshop at Mohawk Mountain told me the boot she was given would never have fit the binding in the skis the grumpy salesman chose, and that he wouldnt be able to fix for us to ski that day. So, I had to pay for daily rentals on top of the seasonal rentals from the grumpy salesman.

ZERO STARS, this place is absolutely terrible. The mean old man seems to be an alcoholic and couldnt have been more rude. He yelled at me and my friend multiple times for nothing and made us extremely uncomfortable. Please take your business elsewhere and never come here.

Been coming here for about 5 years now. Kip is a nice guy, he may seem a bit intimidating but dont take it personally. Its a shame some people are a bit too sensitive these days. Highly recommend coming here to rent some skis or snowboards.

It started out really good then went down hill. They helped me find the skis I wanted and told me I would get them in a few days. I paid though PayPal. I dont know how long it usally takes to get paid but I thought it is a day or two. A week later I hadnt received the skis so I call to find out where they were. He asks if I could be put on speaker I say yes and he proceeds to curse. Then he tells me he ever got paid. I calleducation paypal and they said he was paid. I call again to tell him PayPal paid he then tells me that he just received payment and will ship the skis that day. Another week goes by and I get another email stating he just mailed the skis. It was an overall bad experience.

They got one star, since no stars was not an option. Here is what happened. We were looking for a full season rental and various accessories for my four kids. There were two workers in the store, one who appeared to be seasonal and the other a full timer. The seasonal guy was pleasant. The full timer had a chip on his shoulder and was very dismissive with our questions about price. We brought in some old boots to see if they still fit my son and he told us it was broken and immediately threw it on the floor. He had zero patience for my kids and was swearing under his breath. Meanwhile he was barking nastily to the nice worker. Needless to say we walked out.

These most recent reviews are clearly fakes. This is literally one of the worst stores I have ever set foot in. The man working there is probably the rudest “sales person” on planet Earth, or any other planet. He literally screamed. It was weird. Never will go back.

Kip not a man of the people. Doesn’t do well with questions such as “what time can I pick up?” - sends him down a dark path. Way to grumpy for me to return here ever again.
