ZERO stars. They refused to deliver the package, and put it in a PO Box (which I do not have). When I called to ask what was happening, they left me on hold for over 28 minutes until the post office closed. And they just disconnected my call at 445pm.

For the second time in 2 weeks we had to pick up a package at the post office because the driver could not complete the route. The first time the delivery notice said that we had requested pick-up at the post office, which we never did. When we spoke to the supervisor about the obvious lie, she said that the substitute driver was having difficulties completing the route. The item was a live plant that sat in a box all weekend. The second time the notice said that a delivery was attempted but we weren’t home - we were home all day and never saw the truck. No signature was required, so all the driver needed to do was leave the package. This happened just before the Holiday weekend so once again we had to wait several days to pick up our delivery. The time stamp on the notice was 11:20 am, but we never receive our mail before 4:30 pm. This tells me that the package never left the facility.

Renewed our faith in the USPS.Rainy yucky day and our postman, Mark, had a package delivery for us. He carried it the 50 feet or so to our front step, put it in a plastic bag to keep it safe and dry and even included the other mail in the bag so we didnt have to walk to the mail box. He consistently does a great job that Im betting usually goes unnoticed. Well we noticed. Mark, thank you for your service.

My home PO in NJ is fabulous and sets a very high standard. That said, for 30+ years I have received excellent service from the Brewster PO. The staff has always been knowledgeable and super helpful (and for most of these years my mail was general delivery - never lost or missing anything)! I have used postal services around the US and in UK and Europe; NJ and Brewster PO my absolute favorite.

Brewster PO has excellent service and a great staff. They will go out of their way to assist all. The Office serves as one of the Towns central locations where most residents and visitors interact daily. Helps maintain our Towns unique character.

I’ve lived in 8 different towns in my 30 years and have not had to deal with issues from any post office except this one. There has been over 10 occasions just in the past year where I have had to track down packages myself. I went to pick up a package today that was supposed to be delivered yesterday and was told that I’d have to wait until they got to bin 3... they were on bin 7. After going in yesterday to look for the package and was told to come in, in the morning before the package got loaded onto a truck. I did just that, they knew where the package was and decided that they needed to go through the rest of the bins instead of just grabbing and scanning my package. Again this is just the last of a long line of incidents I have dealt with. I will try and avoid this service at all costs when dealing with important items.

I am tired of my packages not being delivered the day they are supposed to be. I am lied to every time by the supervisors. Looked up my tracking and they said they attempted delivery. They never did!!!! They just scanned it attempted so that it doesnt look like a failure on their books!! Lazy and incompetent post office.

OMG. STAY AWAY!!!.Lousy, poor service... I have had SO many years Of problems with mail delivery service at this Post Office. Lost mail, lost and returned packages when properly addressed, etc.There used to be some good employees here, but now theyve removed all the regulars and replace them with temporary workers who dont know what theyre doing, who theyre delivering to, or anything. The customer service is Non existent. Weve had hundreds of chickens die at their hands because they cant bother to let us know that the birds are there, even when we call to alert them to a delivery . I cant imagine how this place is still open. They have succeeded over the residents Of Brewster, and we have no other choice but to Deal with them or get a post office box in another town. Letters and calls to the Postmaster General go unanswered. We have no mail delivery on our street and we are forced to pay for this horrible service.

Great customer service. Super hot in there though. Ive been in a few times and there is no air conditioning. Why?

Every time I go here, the fat lady refuses to look for my package. She tells me its not on the top of the pile so she isnt looking and I have to wait until tomorrow. Worst customer service here every time. This isnt the first time it has happened either. There needs to be some sort of customer service training here. On the other hand, the older gentleman that works here always goes above and beyond and he is very nice.

I transact regularly and always have a no problem whatsoever experience at the Brewster Post Office...highly efficient personnel. Thanks Brewster

We can’t begin to say how poor the level of service is at the Brewster Post Office. We moved our PO Box from Harwich where we had a fantastic experience over 13 years. We had a PO Box in Brewster many years ago and left due to poor customer service back then.The woman at the counter, and don’t know if it’s “Marie”. Is all about what she can’t do instead of what she can do. She’s totally unwilling to do a little extra when it comes to looking for packages especially if you know they are there. If it’s not straightforward you can forget it. We had a package coming for a family in need and even after going back in after getting turned away by her, I got the same level of what they CANT do from a man by the last name of Colish. Was given the phone number of the supervisor and for Jeremy, the Postmaster who of course wasn’t there and The supervisor just listened but didn’t offer to do anything extra. He just told me what their policy is and what it isn’t about packages that come into the post office at 10:53 in the morning. Which is they won’t be available until the NEXT day. The NEXT day!! Are you kidding?? It’s funny how HARWICH just intuitively knew not only who we were as customers, where we live and I guess had no problem with going over and above to help out when we’re looking for aPackage in spite of not having a yellow card in our PO Box. If you want a post office that’s all about telling you what they won’t do and can’t do and certainly won’t go out of there way to go above and beyond then The Brewster Post Office is perfect. Will be heading back to Harwich as fast as we can. Sorry for such a long review. So frustrating.

HelloI was in Brewster Post office at the time this very nasty man from the prior post was in the Brewster Post office.I overheard him belittlingand acting like a total arrogant fool while the poor clerks had lines out the door.This man was totally unprofessional and if I had been one of those employees I personally would have called the police.I stood in line and was shocked by his poor behavior.I have done business in Brewster for 37 years and ALWAYS been treated with the best of care.SHAME ON YOU

Claudia and her team are lacking in customer experience, I was spoken down to and disrespected for there screw up. Its sad to see our tax dollars pay for there salary and get such poor treatment. Might be the worst experience ever in a USPS.
