Horrible FAKE Legal Service that should not be in existence and complicated matters worse to evict the tenants. We had to hire a real attorney in Fresno, because there were so many errors and problems performed by Lynx Legal Service. The mess caused by Lynx Legal Service cost us an additional $2,500 of Legal Fees due to Lynx Legal Service not completing forms properly and being inept.Dont ever utilize this FAKE Paralegal System or you will regret it!As the owner of this apartment, we had to hire an attorney in Fresno to get the husband and his partner and their two children evicted from an apartment in Fresno, California. Our Attorney detected that there were numerous major errors made by Lynx Legal Services which has delayed the entire process and caused us, the landlord, over $2,500 in additional legal fees. One of these errors made was that Lynx Legal Service only specified the husband on a number of the court documents instead of also including the live-in partner and her 2 children (ALL OCCUPANTS IN POSSESSION). This caused the UNLAWFUL DETAINER to be invalid and additional work had to be completed my attorney which caused me a new attorney bill of $2,500.Also, the Process Server Lynx Legal Service assigned never handed the Unlawful Detainer to the tenants. This person along with Lynx Legal Service never notified me about the issuance date of the Unlawful Detainer by a Process Server. If the Process Server was unable to directly get in contact with the tenants at their doorstep, then this Process Server needed to notify the courts so a Court Notification needed be posted via the courts/Fresno Sheriffs Department. Because the Process Server and Lynx Legal Services didnt follow through with this requirement, the owner of the apartments had to pay an additional $1,000 to his attorney. Because of all these errors made by Lynx Legal Service, we are requesting a FULL REFUND from Lynx Legal Service. When Lynx Legal Service quotes you a fee, dont be surprised when they start tacking on hundreds and hundreds of additional dollars to the bill stating this form and that form needs to be included and that they will charge an additional huge fee for an attorney to represent us in court.Should Lynx Paralegal Services not follow through with this request, we have no other choice but to post this entire grievance and complaint on YELP and other On-Line Review Sites. Lynx Legal Service was told that they are more than welcome to contact our attorney in Fresno to confirm the above errors and problems that were brought on by Lynx Legal Service. I do realize Lynx Legal Service ratings are a low 1.5 stars, which is extremely low. This on-line review would drop their ratings significantly.Take our advice and hire a REAL ATTORNEY and not a fly-by-night firm that cannot give legal advice!

I would give 0 star if I can. They messed up with my case. The judge dismissed my case because the paper work they did was wrong! The attorney they sent to meet me at the court house had no clue about my case background, just stand around like a dummy. The judge said he cannot represent us because he didnt submit a signed appearance form to the judge... when we call their office, no answer... dropped a message to client portal, no respond in 3 days.... what are we suppose to do?The line to new case is prompted respond but the line to follow up existing case is dead end...

Well call this review: Throwing Good Money After Bad During a PandemicSo lets start with the pros. Staff is friendly. Now for the cons.1. The Internet Advertised $299.99 for eviction paperwork. Then the staff person tells you Oh yeah, I dont know where that add comes from, its $499.00. (Ive since noticed they changed the price.) I explained my situation and the guy said I had a good case.2. After serving my tenants a notice, I was informed that each subsequent notice generated an additional fee of $150.00 (not communicated up front and far from Everything Included). After the second notice, my tenants paid their pre-pandemic debt making them in compliance with the moratorium despite the huge $$$$ owed to me and Lynx told my case was closed. So if youre thinking of attempting eviction before July, SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

Lynx Legal is the worst rip off that has come along in a long long time. I hired them to do a simple eviction and they botched everything from the start and I fired them and went with avery good law firm and my attorney was great! She pulled me out of the mess Bill Toomey put me in with their gross negligence. - Tiffany Patel was my attorney and she was great. After I fired Lynx Legal my Attorney advised me of all their errors in their filing and their general incompetence which caused significant delays in the eviction process which cost me several months rent and unnecessary additional time having a very disruptive tenant in my home, as well as the $499 initial charge, $240 in court fees and $350 for an attorney. The court and attorney I never used and the $499 to get the eviction started which they made an absolute mess out of. I will be taking them to Small Claims Court as well as reporting them to the Costa County Clerk/Recorders Office where he is registered and file a complaint pertaining to him working far beyond his scope and misrepresenting his qualifications. Also, Bill Toomey and one of his assistants fraudulently signed my name as only the Petitioner (myself) or my attorney could sign. William Toomey is NOT a lawyer he is a very bad Legal Document Assistant.According to BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL CODE - BPC DIVISION 3. PROFESSIONS AND VOCATIONS GENERALLY [5000-9998.11]CHAPTER 5.5. Legal Document Assistants and unlawful Detainer Assistants [6400 - 6415] ARTICLE 1. General Provisions [6400 -6401.7]~6401.6. A legal document assistant may not provide service to a client who requires assistance that exceeds the definition of self-help service in subdivision (d) of Section 6400, and shall inform the client that the client requires the services of an attorney.Bill Toomey and his troop of incompetents grossly exceeded the scope of service permissable by a legal services assistant, in violation of the Business and Professional code and should have referred me to a qualified attorney.
