I called upon Gil to upgrade my old laptop to Windows 10 and a new drive. Also used him to connect a new laptop with my office equipment. He did a great job, and was reasonably priced. Everything works much better now, and I could never do this myself!

Im guessing the previous reviews were written by family members. I took my external storage drive to Knockout because I had dropped it and it stopped working. At first, Gil was on top of everything. It turned out my drive had to be sent out to a company that had a clean room as it was internal damage that was causing my problems.I was ok with that. Gil emailed me and informed me it was going to cost $1900 to $2600 to recover the data. I was ok with the cost, but I had too many things going on and declined the repair. This is where things went south. I called Gil and told him I declined the repair at this time. This was on Sept 1, 2020. I just got my storage drive back on Tuesday, Sept 29.Gil was out for a week so there was no one to take my call. He was elusive and in an email, he wrote he was for the week. I wrote back asking if there was anyone else who could help me. He never responded.So this is a one man show despite what the recording says. I had to keep calling to find out when I would get my storage drive back. I finally had to insist I would come in and pick it up.Gil is nice enough, but knows nothing about customer service or running a company. It seemed that he thought I was upset about the price to recover my data. But really, it was his terrible customer service. I will not go back to KNOCKOUT PC. EVER.

Showed up to my Saturday appointment and no one was there. No one picked up the phone, no one answered the Ring installed next to the front door.

My computer had a hard drive issue and was hacked. Gilbert was able to quickly diagnose and repair my computer. He took time to work with me to make sure it was working when I picked it up. I will recommend them every time.

The hard drive in my iMac failed and replacing it is no simple operation. I wanted an Apple certified repair shop and discovered Knockout PC had an office conveniently located in Brentwood. I talked over the repairs with Gilbert and he provided an estimate and plan. I really needed a quick turnaround on the repairs so we ordered the new drive, and when it arrived I brought in the computer and it was turned around for pickup the next day! Best Buy ship out their Apple repairs to a third party and wanted to keep the iMac for 4-6 weeks!The service included a diagnostic checkup and a thorough cleaning (dust builds up inside over time.) And with the new 1TB SSD my iMac now performs better than new. Everybody at Knockout was professional, responsive and kept me apprised of the status during the entire process and the costs came in within their estimate range.I have not been to their Walnut Creek location, but their new Brentwood office is modern and immaculate with easy parking. All in all, I had an excellent experience and give Knockout PC my highest recommendation!
