Kay was a joy to work with and transformed my wedding dress! I brought in a Lazaro ballgown-style wedding dress to Kay with a list of changes (hemming, taking in the sides, lowering the neckline, adding a bustle, adding cups, etc). She detailed the cost of each alteration and worked with my schedule. Her work was high quality and I look forward to bringing future alteration needs to her. The pictures attached show the dress upon purchase and the altered gown.

I had a very pleasant experience here, Kay did a phenomenal job taking in my dress and hemming it, it fit like a glove when she was done. Everything got done in a timely fashion, I’ll definitely be going back if I need a tailor in the area!

Kay did an incredible job replacing torn mesh in an evening gown I brought to her. The alterations took about a week and a half, and the price was very reasonable. I requested that she put in breast cups, but unfortunately the gown just wasnt structured for them. She was extremely patient when I returned and asked for them to be replaced with smaller cups, then removed completely. I also brought a simple work dress to be taken in and hemmed and I am very satisfied with her work and rates. She even sent me off with positive affirmations for my event.

I will start by saying that this business was efficient and flexible with scheduling appointments and the time it takes to complete the work, but that is about all I have to say about it thats positive. I took my wedding gown here and asked how much the work would cost after my initial fitting. The price I was charged at the end of the alterations was not the price quoted. Be careful of the quoted price they give you because it will likely be more by the end. I am still not sure what the extra $100 dollars on my final price was for even after I questioned it. I have an open back dress and needed a bra or some support sewn into the gown. They stated they could do that. What I got, however, were two padded (WAY smaller than my cup size) cups sewn into the front of the dress but not attached to anything at all that would add support. I asked for some sort of an elastic band for support and what I got was a piece of elastic sewn into the sides of the dress but not attached to anything else. This is not even close to what I needed or expected to be able to provide my larger chest any support. All it did was add extra padding above my chest and make the dress tighter. I am now less than 2 weeks out from my wedding and having to figure out something else to get the proper support. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I wish I had gone somewhere else.

Kay is working on my wedding dress and she is truly a miracle worker. My dress started about 4 sizes too big and she has worked very diligently to make sure my dress is perfect for my big day. HIGHLY recommend!!

Kay and her team just finished my wedding dress alterations for my September wedding and Im 100% pleased with the results and my entire experience! I had several complicated requests as my dress was two pieces, and I was actually getting a mini dress (with lots of delicate lace and trim) converted into a top to go with a bridal skirt. The results were flawless, and she paid such attention to detail every step of the way. Her pricing is very reasonable as well. I had my wedding gown altered by Kay for my September 2016 wedding. Kay was so great to work. I had lace and buttons detail down the back so it was very tedious work, she took her time making sure my gown was perfect. I was very pleased with my gown. I highly recommend Kay!!!

My daughter needed a Prom dress alteration last year. My daughter is very petite being a size 0 or 00 and many clothes are too big so the dress being Velvet texture I wasn’t expecting such amazing results. Strappy designed back, bust, vneck back, waist, leg slit, and hem done absolutely correctly. Highly recommend. Price is very reasonable as well.

I was very satisfied with the service, expertise, and the quality of the work.I took in an old floor-length formal gown for alterations of my own design: shortening the skirt to just above the knee with tulle down to the top of the knee so that it peeked out below the skirt, creating a less formal but still fancy dress.After the initial alteration the tulle made the shorter skirt stick out too far creating an unflattering silhouette on my body. When I expressed disappointment in the result of my own design, they recommend changes in the positioning of the tulle underskirt that accomplished exactly the look I had hoped for. They had the second alteration done in just a few business days.It looks better than I could have hoped and was so well tailored that you would never know it was altered.

Kay is so skilled and such a wonderful person. I loved working with her and my dress looked amazing for the wedding. I will certainly recommend her for anyone requiring alterations!
