Id been with SIG for 5 years and had a good relationship with them. We were covered by Kemper insurance for both home and auto until this year when Kemper decided to terminate their relationship with Strategic for some reason. We were never given a reason why, we just were told that Kemper didnt want to continue working with Strategic and we were going to be losing our coverage effective 6/30/18,I emailed SIG and asked about it, and was told that they had a different company that was going to underwrite all polices for their Kemper customers with comparable rates. That was the last I heard until I received an email 6/28/18 (2 days before the end of our coverage). They told me that they were having a hard time finding a company to underwrite our policies because of a claim on our home to replace our roof. They never told me that they were giving up, they never sent me any quotes to let us decide what we wanted to do. They just basically just left us lying in wait, even though they had decided to stop looking.I emailed today to find out the status and was told that we were pretty much on our own.So, in short, they absolutely DO NOT care about their customers. Not once in the 5 years we were with them did they go out of the way to take care of us, they never were there to answer questions, never were there to give us advice. They found our initial policy holder, which we appreciated, but that was where their service stopped. I would seriously recommend using a anyone other than Strategic Insurance Group.
