I would not have written a review until I saw someone mention the name Brent Johnson, the adjuster who evaluated my roof. This man REFUSED to approve a claim for the replacement of my roof even though I watched him lift shingle after shingle due to wind/hail damage. His recommendation after 15 minutes on the roof...have an independent contractor use Black Mammie caulking(which to this day Ive not been able to locate) and nail down the tiles. It took 3 professional roofing companies and an independent contractor as well as a call from me before he would agree to send out an independent appraiser. She, of course, agreed there was significant damage and the roof needed to be replaced. I found Brent to have a condescending attitude towards women and that may have been part of the problem while dealing with me. In fact, he refused to meet any of the professional roofers at my home to walk the roof because hed already decided all that was needed was a few nails and caulk. Ive been with this company almost 3 decades and my family as an unit for almost a century. I have to agree with a previous review that said this company has a terrible reputation for wanting to pay for roof replacements and I dont understand why. Ive insured my automobiles, invested in retirement products, in addition to having renters insurance prior to insuring my home. I hope this isnt a company wide practice, but the actions of adjusters who behave as sciolists.

My husband and I switched all of our insurance to Farm Bureau in March of this year. A few weeks ago, we had a major leak in our roof due to hail damage. We found out we needed a new roof, as well as drywall repair for some damaged areas where the roof had been leaking undetected for some time.I have heard nightmare stories from my friends about insurance companies that use hidden loopholes to try to get out of actually paying for insured damage. I admit, I was nervous.Brent Johnson, immediately set my mind at ease. The claim was honored, and everything was expedited more quickly than I could have imagined. I am so happy that our home, auto, rental home, motorcycle, and umbrella policy is through Farm Bureau, and want to thank them for a great experience. (coming out of a not so great experience)I am 100 percent certain that I picked the right company to handle all my insurance needs.

I would not recommend them to anyone looking for fast service. My neighbors tree fell onto my truck and house and I have been trying to get some answers about my claim. After 5 days including a weekend l finally received a call from the agent and the adjuster. Im not happy with the customer service.

I had a claim for roof damage like a lot of folks in tennroofing company said farm bureau is the worst at paying a roofing claim and that was exactly right They came out with which is not even allowed in the state of kentucky. i went all the way to the top even to the state of tenn insurance commission which gave farm bureau a pass on roof replacements which i dont why they arent replacing any roofs anywayi had the exact same thing happen about 10 years ago and i paid half i will this time also but next time i will have a different insurance company i have been with farm bureau 40 years and i am gone done finished and you should be also
