Helpful staff. Unfortunately we ended up with more than we planned to spend. I didnt find the rubber plant I was looking for. There were many other plants Id have bought, except that I didnt look too hard because I knew Id bust the bank.

Ethan was so helpful a courteous! I went in, not knowing what parts I actually needed. I brought the pump into the store, because I knew there was no way I would be able to tell someone what I needed lol. Ethan helped me figure out exactly what I needed, and got me to the guys in plumping who found the parts and were kind enough to put them on the pump and explain exactly what I needed to do when I hooked it up at home. I didnt get the names of the guys in plumbing, but they were great! Best customer service I have had in any store, in a very long time!

This used to be a great store now they hardly keep up with their inventory enough on the lowes app. Its common to (not) find items because they are no longer where the app says they are. I suspect this might be due to not having enough staff (?). Recently they canceled an order I had placed online with no explanation, no phone call to explain why and a somewhat defensive customer service rep when I ask why this occurred. But my loyalty is intact because of the 5% discount with the Lowes card.

Staff never knows where items are, been shopping here for years and this is the last day. Most recently bought a fancy shower kit but they managed to give me one of the three major parts in the completely wrong size. Returning the item revealed that not only do they not even stock the correct part, I was told that they can’t even order the new one! After 30 wasted minutes in the store I spent 3 minutes online and ordered it from another location. Delivered 3 days later, after a full week of head scratching from this store.Side Note: Cash is NOT accepted at the self-checkout (no signs to tell us this...) and apparently there is no cashier or manager or supernatural being anywhere in the store that can cancel an incomplete transaction, or even transfer it to a new station. This is beyond bad service or business concept....TL, DR: shop somewhere else.

Store has most of what I need to start and complete home projects, as well as commercial ventures. Only issues I had on this visit, was with the key department. Asked for help to get some business keys made, and after a 25 minute wait, and four other employees calling for a person to come, gave up and left store. Ended up going to an actual locksmith to have my keys made, costing me extra time and money, was very disappointed.

A fairly average Lowe’s. I mean, it’s a big box hardware store, only so much variation. Everything could be better, but everything is pretty good at the same time. 4 stars.

Lowes hires the nicest people; they are helpful and have ready smiles. Because I can only walk some, having operational motorized carts is critical to be able to shop at such a large store. They are operational (Ive never had a problem with their carts) and the employees have left enough space for the carts to move around the aisles without upsetting an endcap or display. Thank you,

I really enjoy shopping at the Brenham Lowes better than at the one in Bryan. They are about equally distant from my home. Bryan store is always busy, understaffed and almost totally incapable of answering questions or helping to find anything. . .just always on the cusp of outright rudeness. Brenham is quite the opposite.Why would I drive 30 miles to Bryan to be ignored, disrespected and spend an inordinate amount of time trying to find what I want and purchase it when driving 30 miles to Brenham yields a very positive experience?

Get with Fred if you need new floor treatments. He is honest, explaining options on an old peir and beam house without intimidating my mother in law into a big sell. Thank you Fred for your help in making the best choice.

They had what I needed. Staff were eager to help and Johnny-on-the-spot. The ladies at the check-out were efficient, engaging, and even with masks, I could see that they were smiling. Oh, one more thing: both of them, returned my Vulcan live long and prosper hand gesture punctuated with giggles (something Spook wouldnt do).

Had about 300.00 worth of lumber and other stuff in my cart, tried to use the military discount. Was told had to sign up online. This was out first time in a Lowes in probably 10 years. Tried to sign up online and they wanted more documentation...even though my husband has the veterans designator on his license. The manager came over and rudely stated we could just come back within 30 days to get a credit on our receipt. She was not willing to help at all even though you are vetted in order to get the veterans designator. The discount was not the biggest deal, it was how rude and uncaring by the manager. We did purchase one item, but returned it and made our purchases from home depot. We have always been loyal to them and will continue to be loyal home Depot customers.

The Flooring department at Lowes in Brenham were great to work with to get my shutters and flooring completed. Fred and Lakiesha made sure I had the all the products I needed to get new tile put in and were great to work with. I appreciate having such good service available in our town. Thanks again!

I stopped to purchase a toilet set and Joe was the guy working in the plumbing area. He was very generous to help me load it up in my truck since I have an injured back. Great customer service I am sure I will be back there even though I live in Snook so Bryan/CS is midway of both brenham.

Food more than what I was looking 😋for and it was on clearance. Yeah for me. Cashier was very pleasant ☺and friendly.

Needed 3/4 steel conduit. Drove to Brenham from Bellville just to find the bin was EMPTY!!! Sucked! Called for the next two days. Still none!

Was really unimpressed with the management staff. While the checkout clerk was very friendly and helpful, and the store was clean. He ultimately had no authority or ability to help us.We wanted a vacuum from the back, after bringing the paper slip to the checkout counter, the cashier helping us didn’t know where it was located and needed to ask his manager... fair enough. Rather then help the head cashier made the rather unfriendly comment, “the boxes are empty in the back”, then walked out the door to go home. We waited for a good 15 minutes for someone to either find the vacuum or tell us it was out of stock. Ultimately we decided to leave without it.I want to emphasize how nice and sympathetic the cashier working with us was, he simply got no support at all from his manger. She did a excellent job showing us how much she cared.We ordered the vacuum on amazon, cheaper price with free shipping, I would highly recommend to only buy it from Lowe’s if you need it the same day or can’t easily get it shipped to you. And people wonder why brick and mortar stores are going out of business.

The managers and staff at the return department were terrible. They were not helpful or courteous. They said I needed a receipt and I couldn’t return the item without a receipt because the item was used. Even if I had the credit card that I purchased the item with.

Tried getting carpet installed from lowes for a month now. They first measured the room wrong, then didnt show up, then measured it again 2 weeks later. Now a month later we still dont carpet, pricing, or anything. I have called the store manager 10+ times I have called every couple of days now and sat on hold for hours just for them to say the manager went home. I leave my name and number every time and have yet to have a return call. I have been told he is in a meeting, on the other line, on a 30 min break, at lunch, and on his days off. I have spoken to 4 other individuals who claimed to be under the store manager and none of them have called back or done anything either.

Update: my order was cancelled by the shipping dept. The only remedy is a refund for my order which disappeared & a reorder for delivery in 6 more months. What if I hadn’t come to the store in person?Original: Working on delivery of my second large appliance in 6 months. In both cases the delivery was screwed up. In both cases every time I called, upon getting transferred several times through the system, my call was disconnected. Five times in both cases! I’m about to call the sixth time and I’m becoming quite cross with the store, the management, and the appliance desk in particular. Be wise, shop elsewhere.

I ordered a Weber grill online and had many issues with personnel from this Lowes not following through and getting the order to me. I posted publically about how bad this place is, but after dealing with those people, I received a call from Chase Howard one evening. Chase found the grill got it delivered in the next two days and even when something was wrong with the grill, he got it taken care of in a timely manner. I really appreciated his can do professionalism. You are a credit to your store and restored my faith in doing business with Lowes.

I am a home builder and dealing with Pro desk and there is a guy called BOB and hes a casue of my 99% of my shopping from them, he is always helpful and I wish everyone else learn from him he gets 5 star from. me

I have never experienced good customer service at this store. I was standing with my 10 year old daughter, not 3 feet away from an employee who could obviously hear that we were having a hard time finding a matching drill bit and she never looked at us, never offered to help, and actually was avoiding us.Also, I have a my Lowes card that gets scanned when I check out. I got it when I lived in Austin - it keeps up with your purchases and is very nice to have. Well, I forgot it on my other key chain one day. Not only did NONE of the employees know what I was talking about, they didnt know how to look it up or find a manger to help them. I have always given my phone number and they look it up and hit ok and then scan my items and move on. Not a single employee could help.This Lowes is definitely in need of new management and needs to have some serious training of staff knowledge at the register and in the specific sections in which they work. Employees tend to run from customers instead of help. If I was a manager, I would be on the floor running adequate customer service until it is up to par.The paint team is always on point though! They are helpful and always there to answer questions. Paint Team gets 5 Stars!

It took over an hour for a curbside pick-up item! I called upon arrival & waited 15 minutes to speak to someone to give them my order #. Then waited over 45 minutes for my item to be brought out. There was only 2 other curbside pick-up people that came during this hour I spent waiting! I went in to speak to a manager towards the end of the hour. On a whole I like Lowes but this is ridiculous! Highly Inefficient!!!!

Helpful staff and a variety of items to choose from. Love the oops part at the paint section picked up a great stain for a friend costing $1.25 and it happened to be the very color of stain my friend needed.

I bought several bags of topsoil there to fix some holes going under a house that skunks had dug for a customer of mine. They brought the bags to my truck and loaded them for me. Everyone treated me like a valued customer.

Went in to gather materials for a frame for an art project at college and the worker named Christian was a tremendous help. He took the time to listen to all the details of our planned design and gave us his best suggestions on the wood, the glue, the trim, everything. He even cut the wood and trim to the sizes we needed and was very patient. Amazing service.

Stopped in for plumbing supplies, keys made and outdoor pavers. The entire staff was as courteous as could be especially Julie who was extremely knowledgeable in the outdoor patio area.

Don’t trust online purchase and pick up. The employees will say anything to get you to leave.I purchased 280 pieces of lumber online for store pick up. Showed up, zero, yes zero in stock. I asked the guy in charge of lumber to call another location and have them “put their hands on” the product, he claimed they did and were holding it for me. Went to the Bryan, TX location and guess what? 4 in stock, yes 4 out of the 280 they said they put their hands on, no one knew anything, I can keep going, you get the point.Lowes how do you operate this way? How do you let employees act in this manor?

Friendly, knowledgeable staff, as always. Stephanie in the appliance department helped me pick out a dishwasher and made sure I had the things I would need to install it. I also asked her about some of my home appliances, like how to keep them running tip-top and what I should use to clean them. Very informative, patient, and wonderful lady. I always get that at Lowes - friendly staff that really know their products and are willing to help in any way they can. Always a pleasure to buy here.

I almost always give this store 5 stars. Because I love shopping here, and people are so helpful. Not like other places, where I have to hunt someone down; or they seem irritated to have to deal with me. Awesome garden department, entire store always well stocked, and the sales are actually sales.

Went in today to get an air conditioner. While roaming around to pick one up, Ive noticed a lot of people not social distancing or wearing masks. I did not wish to waist much time, so I wanted to get the unit and checkout. Employees looked like they hated their job...including the cashier. Though the store was clean, the Brenham store could use some better management and treat customers well. I will still continue to do business here, but I wish Covid-19 would stop bringing people down and making a shopping experience like hell.

Wanted to order a washer and dryer and waited over 30 minutes for the specific person for that department to show up and they never did. Then went to customer service desk to see if we could possibly order from there and this woman was having a personal conversation about ordering pictures with another woman, never acknowledged that we were standing there waiting to be helped. So we finally left the store, then I called to speak to a manager to see if maybe they could help us with our order and needless to say, the manager never answered the call either. No wonder we couldnt get any help....so here I am with no washer and dryer ordered and no customer service. Very sad day...

They had complimentary sanitizer and masks at the door. All of the employees had masks on. We had trouble getting help to find what we were looking for.

This rating should be minus 5 stars. I have been trying to get the microwave I purchased at Lowe’s installed for several weeks. The installer they sent out wasn’t prepared to install a vented microwave. Peggy called me and said she would email me a contract for the installation, that I would have to pay more because of the venting. Contract never arrived. Spent at least 15 minutes on the phone with Lowe’s and can’t get ahold of anyone that knows what’s going on. $crew Lowe’s..

We recently moved to Brenham and purchased a house. We went to Lowes for paint for our kitchen cabinets, countertops and walls. Lori was there to help and was very kind, informative and professional.

Was in and out in about 15 minutes. Got the roofing paper I needed. Cashier was very friendly.

If youre a contractor I wouldnt bother ordering online. A good 30 to 45 minutes as they look for your order... cannot find the order... and you wind up having to pull most of it yourself. If I was a manager half of the employees fired and the other half retrained. Total incompetence. These people have never built anything in their lives so why are they working in a hardware store.

For the most part everyone is friendly but no one can ever really help me and anytime i try to call ahead to make sure products are there or to speak to customer service, no one answers.

Very clean store. They even have veteran parking. A few steps inside the door, and there was someone there to help me, and they were very helpful .Cant say much for the checkout people though, very zombieish, of course most places are like that unfortunately .

Awful restrooms. Men and women. 3 restrooms clogged 1 dirty 2 closed. Mens had no paper. Employees didnt speak to us. No one offered help
