I work as a property manager for a local nonprofit providing housing services to homeless families, and Trash Transporter gives us one free haul a month, and we pay them for any additional. This is a great service for our tenants, who dont have the money or means to haul off heavy furniture or junk themselves, helps out our overtaxed maintenance staff, and helps to keep our neighbors happy. They quickly assessed the cost and how to maneuver it outside and down the stairs without any damage to the walls or door. Took maybe 5 minutes tops including payment. I called Trash Transporter and was told they would come to my house and give me a quote once theyd gauged the size of the sofa, and if I thought it was reasonable I could pay them and they would take it; otherwise, they would charge me nothing and I could look into other options. I think its a very reasonable way to do things. They were able to schedule in a reasonable time-frame, the price I was quoted was good, and they got the job done quickly. I just last week rescheduled them for another job!

Ive used them 4-5 times in the last 3 years. They have always been on time or early (they always call and ask if they can stop by earlier if they are already in the area). They have picked up hauls that were piled completely outdoors, even 1 when I wasnt at home and it was all over the phone. (For that haul, they took before photos and had me confirm the stuff, and after photos, and payment over the phone after. It was great to come home and have it just be gone!)They always clean up after a visit and today they worked especially hard to get 2 couches put of a tricky upstairs situation without damaging my property at all.Always friendly and helpful, and the military discount certainly seals the deal.
