This is my second time out with this charter and both times have been great! Amazing day fishing today, too! Caught our limit of Pink Salmon. Went to two different places to get the best chances of catching something. Helped me to ensure I was reeling in properly and with netting my catch. Came back to the dock, cleaned and bagged the fish. Great day out on the water. I will definitely be back again! Thanks so much!

My son in law and I chartered with Matt for a Salmon trip. Even though the fish werent in just yet, he was able to find the ones that were! I celebrated my grandsons birthday with a guided fishing trip with Matt. It was absolutely outstanding. We had a bit of a run to Edmonds to catch the pinks. Paid for this fishing charter along with 3 other people and there was only 2 poles for 4 paying customers. So myself and one other paying customer never got to touch a pole. I have done many charters and there has always been a pole for each paying customer. As a self employed person myself,, I instruct my clients to how the process works and when meeting with them I am prepared with all items needed. I did not see this with Matt..

Captain Matt was great. He took my father in law, brother in law, and myself out for an afternoon in August. We all caught our limit of pink salmon. Captain Matt knows what hes doing and hes the perfect blend of professional and fun. If Im ever back in the SeaTac area, Im doing this again.

Matt was super awesome. A really nice guy. Fishing was meh. It would have been nice to have more poles out. Only 2 poles to go around was not great. I might be back.

Matt is the man, if you wanna charter near Seattle, you need to call Matt. We went fishing for Ling Cod on the second day of the season and he was already dialed in. He is a one man band and is extremely knowledgeable. He had us on the fish with the first drop of our lines. We will definitely be going back out with Matt when salmon season opens up. Overall great guy, me and my Uncle had the time of our lives fishing hanging out with Matt.

My daughter said “infinity stars!” We loved our morning fishing with Captain Mathew. Hard to find guides that leave out of the west side of the Sound, so we were grateful for him. My 2 girls caught 1 shy of their limit on coho salmon and we got tons of other action too with out-of-season shinook and even a dogfish. And saw porpoise, seals, and a bald eagle. Matt was patient with the kids and taught them a lot about fishery conservation in the area. He doesn’t keep anything very small and doesn’t touch things he throws back to keep them healthy. Barbless fishing with lures was new to us Texans but remarkably easy and clean - first time in my life I’ve fished without coming off the boat sweaty and fishy. :) Super nice boat too. Can’t wait to come again next summer.

Just finished our fishing trip with Matt. It was amazing! Hooked a bunch of salmon. Went home with 5 great sized fish. It was for my nephew’s birthday and he made sure to make it special for him. He instructed my nephew who landed the first two fish of the day back to back. Great guy, amazing boat and gear. Very professional and helpful. Full of information and tips. I’ve been on a few other charters on Peugeot Sound and had a good time, but going out to fish with Matt was the absolute best! Matt did a great job of getting us on the fish and we could tell he truly cared about us being successful. He was a knowledgeable and patient teacher as he helped us, including our 12 year old sons, successfully land more fish. Matt was a lot of fun to spend time with and it felt like we were fishing with a good friend by the end of the trip. I highly recommend Messin Around Fishing Charter!

Went out with Matt this past Saturday morning targeting coho salmon. We were on the water at 6:00 am and had our limits by 7:30 am!! Amazing bite and beautiful fish! We had a great time out on the water with Matt. He was very hospitable, runs the nicest boat I’ve been on and worked hard to find us fish. At one point we snagged an old abandoned crab pot. It would have been easier to just cut it loose and keep moving, but Matt took the time to do the right thing and remove the mess from the sound. Great captain here!Excited to book with him again soon.

Fantastic time and scenery. Captain is knowledgeable and fun. I wish i could have taken my son on his boat, he would have learned a lot. Fish werent biting, but nothing is better than knowing the captain is working his butt off to get you fish even on the tough days. Thanks for everything Cap.

Matt has taken me out fishing a few times, the guy is a hell of a captain, very knowledgeable, has top of the line gear, and very nice boat. If you want to catch fish get out there with Matt.

Captain Matt was very professional and we had a great time catching silver Cohoe salmon.He knew the best spot and the boat ride was beautiful and comfortable.

Caught a couple fish, saw two bald eagles, some porpoises, and multiple full breaches from a humpback. Pretty awesome afternoon!
