Alex is the best groomer. She is so kind and patient with my grandmothers elderly dog. Gadget is blind and has anxiety. Alex and the rest of the staff take great care of her and she always looks perfect when I pick her up.

I wish I could give 0 stars. The pets hotel is a scam. I took my furbaby to a 5 night stay. Thinking she would have an amazing time, I was wrong. She barely ate and probably recieved little to no attention. When picked up she was a few pounds lighter and not herself. They just said she wasn’t social. 4 days later my baby has passed away. Rest In Peace to my Baby Biscuit. if you knew my dog wasn’t eating well. Why didn’t you have your 24/7 vet check on her?

What an awesome experience today at PetSmart. We went shopping for dog supplies and came back learning something about ball pythons. The PetSmart employee was taking care of some snakes when my daughters excitedly asked her about them. They were so inquisitive about the small snakes the employee was handling that they began to ask her questions. The employee gave me kids a 30min lesson on snakes and her experience. Although my kids couldnt handle the snakes due to Covid policy they were super thrilled about the lesson they got up close and personal. Thanks PetSmart for being an advocate for all animals and learning.

Do not board you pet in their Pet Hotel. My pup ended up getting sick there and they gave my pet someone elses dog toy and thats probably how my pup got sick. They kept changing their stories. I dont trust that place anymore. They need to take better care and watch over them more.We entrust the staff with our pets. The store is good, it is just their pet hotel.

Do not shop at the store in Brea. Theyre not knowledgeable, helpful or friendly. I had called for item check, was hung up, when I called back was told they didnt carry item. I called store in Whittier and had associate assistant who was extremely helpful about product and also checked Brea store. Was told they also carried item there. I was near Brea store, walked in and asked for item. Maggie, the Manager assisted me. I told her about incident. Never apologized and was making excuses for her and associates behavior. I wasnt asking for charity. I am a paying customer who will take her business elsewhere.

We love this petsmart. Our dog attends the pet hotel regularly and always has a blast with his friends. Staff are always friendly.

Store and service are very organized. Pricing is a little high but then again they have a lot of stuff that you just wont find at Walmart or Target. Very accommodating environment for adoptions as well.

The associates were vwery friendly, and my dog was taken back promptly for grooming. However, I purchased an extra add-on furminator de-shedding to her bathing & brushing, which didnt appear to have been completed. She looked groomed & brushed but was shedding like crazy when I picked her up & has been shedding profoundly since. I was informed that the groomer that took care of her was a new groomer, so maybe that was it. It just wasnt worth the extra price.

They carry brands I trust as well as vet brands prescribed for one of my cats. Pets are welcome on a leash. A pleasant experience for me and my dog.

I love shopping their because everyone who works there ate pet lovers. It shows through knowledge of products and enthusiasm.

My dog was sprayed by a skunk and smelled up half my block. I called Petsmart at 815 and Kiani said she could take him at 9am. Thank you to Kiani for taking on the job! She made him smell as sweet as a flower.It’s not the first time he’s been sprayed and I’ve had to take him in for an emergency grooming! His regular groomer, Robin, has also come through for him. She jokes that he likes playing with black and white kitty cats. 🤣So grateful. My dog loves it there!

My pet was returned to me from a stay at the pet hotel covered in urine and possible feces like it was a normal occurrence. When I asked about the stay I was given a blank stare. They didnt know if she ate or interacted well with other dogs.

It was nice and stocked however now I do understand that this is a pet store there was dry pee stains and a fresh one so -2 stars for that but no issues otherwise.

The employees at this location are more kind, helpful and knowledgeable than other PetSmart locations I have visited. The only reason not 5 stars is their wait times are always way long and they are overpriced.

Sometimes is not about the store or products but the customer service you received. I received excellent customer service from Martin. Not only did he provided me with excellent customer service, he handled the situation in a very professional manner. When I called to asked for an item he not only find the item but had it on the front for me so my check out can be faster when I got there. I have other Pet stores around me but don’t mind driving. Thank you Martin for your above and beyond service.

Had to bring my buddy to this PetSmart as mine was busy today, and was an urgent concern. My dog is scared of everyone as he was abused by a prior owner. The Banfield in this shop took good care of him, and eased my concerns.

Do not take your pet here for anything!!! Hotel abuses the pet and they will not show you camera footage. Flea infested n all beds and pillows have been a constant recall. Managers there have no clue and are programmed by a corporate office which is actually ran by a 3rd party group. Trust me when I say if u go there u will have issues with your pet!!! Dont do it...

Pets Martin was fine but the Banfield Veterinarian facility located there leaves much to be desired. I purchased a pet care plan from them and in the beginning it was fine, as time went on they seemed more interested in charging my credit card than delivering the services they were obligated to provide. I was initially hesitant about having my pet neutered and was told by the vet there that I could wait and have it done at a later date as long as I kept my pl as n current, then Covid-19 hit and made it difficult to trust casual contact so it was delayed again. I finally decided it was time to get it done and since I received a reminder that I had an upcoming appointment which Banfield had a scheduled, that this was as good a time as any to get it done. This is where it gets interesting, they tell me that now since its one year and one day after my initial plan purchase, that the clock has now expired on the free neutering service included in the plan so now it a going to cost $350.00 for what was free one day earlier. I call this a bait and switch at the very least. I find it inconceivable that they would not send a reminder that plan benefits were expiring but would only conveniently schedule the next visit only once the included service had expired especially since covid had prevented the safe use of the available services for some time. Its unfair and underhanded but I should have expected nothing less from them.

The current pandemic has turned our family into quite the hamster fanatics. We started our journey with a Syrian hamster from PetSmart and a Winter White dwarf from Petco. Although different species and temperaments, the PetSmart hamster was less socialized than the Petco one. Both in good health. We were like so many naive families purchasing all the standard pet store CritterTrail equipment until we realized how unhealthy they truly were for hamsters. Im disappointed that neither store offered cages which meet the minimum size requirements (450 sq/in). We found ourselves ditching our pet store cages and building our own enclosures.Yesterday we visited out of curiosity to see if there was any new stuff for our fur babies. Nope. However we did notice an Ill mouse for sale...kinda disappointing to see. Im sure PetSmart is great for cat and dog needs but youre better off finding better suited items on the internet for your rodent pals.

Walking through the Brea Store, I found my items so easily. The Associate at the Register helped me to find exactly what I needed without having to come back to exchange.

When i visited petsmart the other day for pet treats, my cashier was very friendly and bubbly! I loved ashley as my cashier.

We purchase all our pet supplies here. We use the on sight grooming and veterinarian facilities for our two formerly ferrel house cats. They take good care of our pets. The selection of foods and treats make this a one stop shop for people with multiple varieties of animals. They also have a broad selection of pets for sale, and all the supplies to care, feed, and groom them.

Had a good time at the store. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. The selection is great, but the prices are a little higher than expected. Also, its always great going in just to see the various animals.

I enjoy shopping at Petsmart you have a very friendly welcoming team, whatever I need for my pet or if I have a question, I always get friendly service. Especially from a member of your team named Able, if I can’t find something he is always very polite and eager to find what I’m looking for even if he has to go online, it seems that he always goes the extra mile for your customers!

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. PetSmart is clean and a safe environment to board our dog. Its great that the PetHotel is open on Sundays and we can pick up our pup after a weekend away. We like that a vet and doggie grooming is available. This is the best place to board our dog. We have boarding our dogs here for 2 years.

Whats there to say that hasnt been said about PetSmart? Its a great place to go for general pet needs. If youre looking for supplies and such for specialized pets (certain reptiles, exotic birds, invertebrates, etc.) then they may not have what you need, but otherwise youre likely to get what you need.

Caring people who love pets

Petsmart has started loading down their main isles with permanent and temporary marketing / shopping displays that block and vastly restrict the flow of traffic. It has become extremely difficult to travel with an animal and or a shopping cart as you have to get past the display to move to where you want to go making it very cumbersome to freely move about the store. The revenue from the various vendors is obviously more important than the customer. The animals can no longer see what is in the area and are blindsided by other animals that intersect with them at the same time. The noise from the overhead speakers is so loud that its difficult to hear and understand what the employees are trying to tell you.

People were friendly and helpful. The store had what I needed which saved me a trip to a different story. Nikki Jacobs

A dog peed on a post inside the store after telling a manager he didnt clean it up. Gross right bye the registers. We were there looking at cats for a while and no one cleared it up.

Hi, I have a dog named Teddy and his ear was chipped or cut a little on the top. They asked us “Did you see the cut on his ear?” I was like “no?”. They acted like it was there when they were trimming his hair. They lied. So, that sucks. Well it’s horrible. We may not be going here again. We don’t recommend.

Dr Chen is the best. Banfield assistants are really good calming the wiggly puppies and giving them their shots. Couldnt ask for better pet care. Also lots of choices on food and treats.

My dog went in for grooming and was injured in the process. MISSING a nail,bleeding. Hes now on antibiotics 😔

Very helpful and have lots of pet supplies. They also have many animals like fishes, cats, dogs, birds, hamsters, gerbils, hermit crabs, frogs, and etc. They also have pet food . They even have crickets for the reptiles! They do grooming too and they train! But they only train dogs sadly😞. This is my favorite pet store

Well organized to find what you need fir your furry little friends

I tried to buy 2 cases of cat food which were not opened because its more convenient for me. Unfortunately all the cases had been openedI bought what appeared to be a full case of my cats favorite food and found that I was short several cans. Dont have time to drive all the way back. Will look for another PetSmart to buy intact cat food cases of Fancy Feast.

Bought a harness for my dog and was helped by an associate to choose the right size unfortunately the harness did not fit the dog in the dog was able to get out and run away the packaging. The harness came in was a thin small piece of cardboard and when I apply this harness to the dog I removed the cardboard packaging and placed it on a shelf which was accidentally thrown away

Pretty good day care for our dog. Most of the time she comes home exhausted from playing, but sometimes needs a bath (smells to much like a kennel. They could do a better wipe down before giving her back.)
