Susan is so amazing. She is super knowledgeable. After years of trying to receive services and struggling with trying to influence change we were referred to Susan by our child’s neuropsychologist at CHOC. After the first meeting things changed immediately. This has been a battle but one Susan was willing to stand beside us and fight for what was entitled to our daughter. After years of not meeting goals and the same services were only offered we were finally provided much more than we even knew our daughter was entitled to. If you have a child who is not meeting goals or is being denied services you know they need don’t hesitate and contact Susan. It was one of the best decisions we have made for our child. My wife and I have been working with CASE Advocates for our daughter for over 1 year now and our biggest regret is waiting so long to hire Susan and her team to help us with our district. Our daughter is autistic and is now 12 years old and we’ve been able to get a 1 on 1 aid as well as additional services that we’ve been missing out on. We just had an IEE done by an outside company because our school district has been dragging their feet for so long!!! Very frustrating but this review is about Susan and her team. They are thorough and incredibly knowledgeable. Katie is the advocate that has been assigned to our case and she is BCBA certified which brings a wealth of knowledge to our IEPs. The attribute that sets CASE Advocates apart is their ability to work WITH a district and not turn our IEPs into a shouting match. They are able to use their knowledge of the California laws and FAPE to work for our child’s benefit.
