I have been coming to PCSHQ for my mobile phone repairs for many years. I recently found out that the owner (Charlie) had sold. I am happy to report that the switch in ownership has been seamless. Still an excellent shop offering quick repairs, fair prices and excellent customer service. Daniel was very knowledgeable about my iPhone X and offered different repair options with prices. He gave his recommendation as to which repair option was best- (spoiler alert... it wasnt the most expensive option) . I highly recommend this company

I had my ipad screen repaired here on Feb 18, 2021. Today is Sept 15, 2021 and I took my ipad back repair because the screen have failed again. The guy at the counter said he cant honor the warranty (1 year) due to the fact the store had changed ownership and they dont keep record of previous customer. This is quite infuriating.

These techs do excellent work, skillfully and quickly, from changing iphone / iPod batteries to the battery pack in a MacBook Pro. And so reasonably priced. I have been a loyal customer for over 5 years and wont go anywhere else for this kind of service.

Go here to replace your phone battery. Very fast service, they did it right there. Professional, and the price is much better than what Apple charges.

Honest and to the point. Charlie will not try to up sell you. As a matter of fact he gave me more cost effective options.I once needed his input on my Essential PH-1 repair and hooked me up. Why, honestly, why go anywhere else.

I brought my iphone in and payed for a genuine apple screen instead of a 3rd party screen (theres about a 60-70 dollar difference in the price) and after a month the screen just stopped displaying picture. It still worked (I could still use it I just couldnt see anything) so I took it into another shop and out of curiosity I asked if my phone had a genuine apple replacement screen or a 3rd party screen and the guy said it was a 3rd party screen. That pretty much speaks for itself.

After my battery installation I had an issue with the speaker that could have been cause by the battery I brought to the store, yet they changed the bad speaker and didnt charge me. This place is awful, and the owner BROKE MY PHONE. I never write google reviews, and I felt the need to write one. I took my phone in to get the screen fixed. The phone was working absolutely fine before I took it in, the screen was just cracked and I wanted to fix it so I could see he screen better. They took my old screen off and put one of there’s on, and it didn’t work, so they put my old screen on, and the screen no longer worked. I was getting text messages that I could hear as he was fixing it, so the only problem was that it wasn’t showing up on a screen. I was getting a bit frustrated, but I was pretty calm, seeing as the owner just broke my phone. I told him that he did and he said, and I quote, “I don’t appreciate you accusing me of breaking your phone.” I took it to another shop who tried hard to fix it, and they said that the guy at HQ did something to the display, and that no new screen would work. I took it to apple and even they couldn’t fix it, and they charged me $300 to replace my phone. I had to buy an ENTIRE new phone because of this shop, and because it is family owned and not a chain, there is nothing I can do. I really wish I had been warned about this place. DO NOT GO HERE. It is not worth it, and this man took no responsibility for this. Go to Batteries plus, which is nearby, or just go to apple or windows. I will continue to tell people how bad this shop is.

Been to this place several times and had a great experience . Im constantly breaking my phone and seek them to repair it . This last time I had the worst experience I spoke to charlie about fixing my phone . The screen was black and their was no light to it . He told me that he needed to replace backlight and that he would need about a week to replace because he needed to go under microscope charge would be between 125 and 175 . got my phone back light on working great he had un bent it for 50 dollars which took a minute and replaced the cracked screen .285 dollars later . phone lasted 6 days now screen is black and in worse shape . he tells me he cannot fix after 3 more weeks. But that he would sell me an iphone 6 for 150 . at this time im upset i have exhausted all my money . i told him if i can get a partial refund. I have a broken phone . rudely he started going through the receipt and said i could take back the broken screen here is 20 dollars . i then told him 20 dollars after i paid 285 and you didnt fix it . he pulls out 20 more from his drawer and says here is 20 more to make you happy never have i been so humilated i gave them so much business refered them to friends ..NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!

My iPhone6 had bad battery, GPS, and WiFi.. Charlie fixed my phone within 20 mins. Very professional and great customer service. They have earned my business for life. Very honest people there.

Jason provided me with excellent customer service. I took my sons computer in thinking there was a problem with the internal power connection and it was only the cord. He diagnosed the problem and called me with the update. It took only a couple of days to have the cord replaced.

This place is a joke!!!This could have been an amazing 5 Star review and I would have a fixed device (all still at a massive retail mark up) but they didnt have the stones or business acumen to get it done.Went there for a cracked iPhone 6 screen. Heres my gripe.My 3 Fix Options: (all before tax)-PCS HQ- $190 after pressure filled up-sell-AT&T Warranty- $175-Apple Store- $109They tried to up-sell me from $109 to $200. Since they were no cheaper that the whack AT&T coverage (last ditch option), I tried to haggle thinking they would want to win my business, referrals and 5 star review. NOT at THIS PLACE. They get firm and try to scare you into getting the repairs from them with flawed logic.The up-sell:The screen repair to is $109 matching Apple. They, then tell you that your LCD is also damaged (like it is a separate part but it is not), and charge you an extra $35. Next he tried to sell me a new ear piece $45 telling you what a fine intricate part this is and it needs to be replaced too. It was in fact working fine, I had been using it since the scree break, but it was slightly off due to the broken glass ONLY.Now we are at $190.Plus once anyone not Apple opens whatever i device you have it voids any warranty your devise had on it, and I dont know how, but Apple can tell.Now I am filling out a carbon copy invoice form. I tried one last time to haggle the price down to $150 out the door. I was still willing to spend $150 just to get this over with, and they would not discount the price at all, they coulda probably won me over with like 10 or 15% off, but no...So I grew a backbone, grabbed my iPhone, and bailed.Went right to the Brea Mall, walked into the Apple store and set a reservation for 2 days and got a quote for $109 before tax.The KickerApple tells you the screen, the LCD display, and earpiece are ALL ONE PIECE, replace one, replace all, 1 charge!!!!! Plus my devise will still have warranty... For Now.These PCS Jerks and the aftermarket phone places like them get you in the door by pricing the same as Apple, and promising to do the work on the spot in like15 minutes and then they up-sell you and put you on the spot.THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL RIP OFF!!!This could have been an amazing review and I would have a fixed device still at a massive retail mark up, but they didnt have the stones or business acumen to get it done.Noted...

Jason is the man! When it comes to PCs and MACs, I’ve come to find out that he knows what he is doing and will ensure he gives you the correct feedback! Jason is also very meticulous when it comes to solving new issues that come up in order to offer the best service and give you 100% guarantees satisfaction. I am very hard to please, but am very pleased with their work at PCS HQ. Jason is exceptional at giving you full transparency regarding the service your products will need and for that I am very grateful and appreciative of him. He was able to revive my 2007 IMAC and pull all the data info that I thought I lost from my 2011 MacBook Pro. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my computer needs and feel that I’ve found a place that I can depend on.Cris

James repaired my wifes iPhone4s broken screen in front of my eyes with in 20minutes. The night before the earthquake had shocked the shop, but when I came in at 10:00am the shop was clean and sorted.PRO:- very professional service- high quality parts- they give 30 days warranty- reasonable prices- family business since 25 years- highest Yelp rates for repairs in this area- have a stamp cart system after the third repair you get 18% off for your fourth one.NEGATIVE:- nothing to say, only it was hard to look it up and find on Google. (James is working in it:)RECOMMENDATION:- before considering a repair yourself to save some dollars. You should give PCHeadquarters a try.- I will come back with my next repair.

Be careful with this place !!! They will lie to your face !!!Okay let me start by saying service was great , they attended me right away , answered all my questions and even fixed my phone . My rear camera was broken they charged me 95 to fix it. So once the repair was done i noticed on my front screen he had damaged the inside of my phone in the corner when he had opened it up . I noticed it and told the guy , he told me that he didnt do it when I know he did . What a coincidence once hes done fixing my phone I noticed that it is damaged. All I wanted was for them to man up and apologize for what he did, but no the guy kept denying it to the fullest !! His name is Jason btw the guy who fixed my camera but also damaged my front screen once done with repair. I came back upset 2 days later and talked with the owner explaing to him what happened. He says his son doesnt lie when Cleary he was . At this point Im extremely upset now my phone value went down alot due to the damage I have on the screen if I wanted to turn around and sell it. . I will never go back here !

Now, I used to love this place. I would recommend this place to friends, family and strangers. My experience recently was deplorable, I am extremely dissatisfied as a customer and patron. My phone was not compatible with pokemon go, so I wanted to upgrade my phone. I went to the place I trusted, the place where I thought the employees were professionals, the best in the business. I went into PCS HQ, specifically stating I wanted a new phone so I could play pokemon go. I was given a list of new cell phone options and selected one. One day after purchasing the new phone I quickly realized it did not play pokemon go properly. The employee did not read an email stating that pokemon go only works on certain metropcs phones. This information was never revealed to me before the sale. This is just bad business. I am not a happy customer. I never was asked to be refunded or have my money back. I will never return here again. These are not professionals. I will only go to larger stores with proper customer service from now on.

This guy does not like to sell parts just likes to do the work himself. I have been In here 3 other times and has never been able to help. Always out to make a buck. I needed a glass for my S4 and gives me this story of a customer that tried fixing it them self and screwed up and wrote a bad review on him. Thats why he cant sell me any parts. BS I say. Thats one way of saying im incompetent even though I have fixed b4. Only out for himself.

I got a killer deal today on a camera repair on my iPhone 5, and got my front cleaned out too as a service when the Apple Store told me to buy a whole new screen to fix the fuzziness.Location can be missed so keep your gps on, parking is easy and about 20 ft from store. The store itself is very clean and dust free, I might add.This place could fix any of your devices, particularly smartphones and tablets, with his large variety of parts. Almost all parts you could need they have or may be able to get you the same day. Jason is a true tech guru and will tell you what you should fix and shouldnt fix in your device for your benefit. He will advise you not to fix something if he feels it is simply not worth it for you especially if you plan to upgrade the phone soon. Best of all the prices at this place are cheapest Ive seen anywhere including craigslist, and I know for a fact almost all the parts used for iPhone repairs are oem (with exception of certain screens). Great family business, 5 stars.
