28 years of existence and this was my very first massage. I work full-time as a hair stylist and gardener and to say I was over-due is an extreme understatement. Daily I’m making and doing the same repetitive motions, all while adding to the pain and pinching I’ve been feeling in my upper back. My day to day life and stress had just been building more and more tension within my neck and shoulders and it just led to this constant state of irritability, poor posture, and just not feeling my happy and healthy self.The space of Bodysense is welcoming, calming, and just beautiful. While sipping hot tea I felt listened to by Joanna as I expressed how I’ve been feeling. And after an hour of what I feel was magic worked by her, I felt instant relief. I walked out feeling completely renewed. I stretched without pain and am feeling very at peace.
