1st time here & very happy with my experience. I have a hard time finding someone that does my nails the way I like. GUY did an awesome job. I couldnt be happier. Everyone there was very nice. Salon was clean and I enjoyed the atmosphere. Will definitely be going back!! Thank you!

I havent been going here for long but my girl Tiana has been doing my nails for 23 yrs or so! She is awesome!!! TK Nails is a nice place very organized and clean. Everyones very nice. The prices are reasonable.

I take my daughter hear EVERY 2 weeks to get her nails done. Lyn is the best! We dont go anywhere else.

Called ahead of time and made an appointment my name was wrong, no biggy that they continue to callMe kim; Went for a refill since I just moved to town. Owner suggested a different product then was on my nails (powder gel). Said “it will chip less” since one of my nails were lifting. And the end of the process my nails looked beautiful but my pointer finger still was lifted. She proceeded to apply more glue and use a spray to dry it quickly and push them together. Fast forward three days after my pointer finger was completely lifted even after she applied the superglue between and attempted to sandwich them together. Fast forward to refill time I make an appointment for another refill and explain how my nails have lifted more with this product over the phone. The owner proceeds to tell me “you get what you pay for!” Not realizing I had paid her rent over $100. And vs hearing my concerns and working on what we could do to resolved it. Decided that theres other customers who want a spot should and proceeded to canceling my appointment unprofessionally.

Awesome service great work. Friendly, and much better than pretty nail salon. Always take good care of you.

I went to get my eyebrows done and they messed them up ... one side is uneven and they messed up the middle and took waxed off a lot ... idk what the women’s name was but it was a older women.... never coming back here for my eyebrows

Lynn is SO unprofessional, im pretty sure I know all of her clients lives. If you want a manicure that chips after a day, go see TK! :-)

Used to go here years ago and I still agree THIS IS THE BEST NAIL SALON!! Weh (not sure if Im spelling his name correctly) but he did an amazing job on my coffin shaped acrylic tips! He kept made sure it was the length and correct shape and made sure I was happy! Highly recommended all staff is very friendly!

1st time and really was impressed. I got a great gel manicure. I felt so comfortable I am going back for a pedicure.

I stopped in on a whim, Wee filled my gel nails and copied a picture off a Pinterest picture. I was amazed at how detailed the art work was. I also brought in my 16 year old Autistic son, the team at TK nails made him feel comfortable. Great place, wonderful staff! HIGHLY recommend!!

Love it here. Love that you are able to make appts. But most of all I love Rose. She has been my technician for 6yrs. I wouldnt trade her for anything.

Booked me for an appointment even though it was last notice and 15 mins before closing. The employees have always been extremely professional and considerate and my nails have always come out stunning.

I love Rose! She is awesome at her job and is a very sweet caring person. I would never go anywhere else except to see Rose at Tk very neat immaculate place.

Rose not only pretties me up better than anyone who had ever done my eyebrows and hand-painted (not airbrushed) my teeny nails (my wedding ring/finger is a size 4), but everyone is so warm and welcoming that my first visit was special enough to be memorable.For what its worth: I started getting my nails done in the mid-1990s. I have plenty of comparison.

I rarely get my nails done and the nails came out great BUT my nails were only supposed to be $35 and they charged me $50 because they neglected to tell me that the shape i got them in cost an extra $10 and I got gel polish on only Two of my nails and the guy said it would only be $2 more ($1 per nail and he explained that) but they charged me $2 per nail AND NEGLECTED TO TELL ME ANY OF THIS EXTRA PAYMENT UNTIL THEY WERE DONE AND WHEN I HAD TO PAY!!!!! Im sorry but thats not good customer service what so ever!! They shouldve let me know when i asked for what i wanted and reassured me by saying “Okay just to let you know the shape you want is going to be $10 extra” instead if not telling me at all until they were done and ready to pay

Lian did an amazing job and is extremely friendly! She did a great job at straightening and shaping my nails before applying the gel nail on.

Lynn & her staff are the best of the best! I’ve been coming to lynn for a little over 10 years now and I will not go anywhere else! Her work is absolutely amazing, she is very accommodating to my busy schedule and makes you feel like family! Thank you Tk for the amazing service!

Apparently they didn’t know I was a cosmetologist. I booked an appointment the weekend before my fiancées grandfathers funeral for a full set of acrylics with gel polish. That is what I received accept for the fact that the tech insisted she used UV Gel extensions which she did not. I explained that I am trained and licensed in the state of Connecticut and I know for a fact that they used acrylic powder on my nails and gel polish. Basically instead of paying about 50$ I paid around 90$. Absolute waste of money and completely robbed. Tried following up multiple times to come to a resolution but they didn’t want to know anything about it. Typical.

I have been to a wide range of nail salons over the past 4 years, and this is the only one I have ever truly stuck with. I get acrylic nails, long, and I am SOOOO picky when it comes to quality and shape. They are the only technicians that have been able to get it right. They have so many colors, designs, and nail art to choose from. The customer service is amazing, Huy is my nail technician and he is truly talented. He knows me by name, and knows EXACTLY what I look for in nails. Knowing about your customers likes and dislikes are so important and I feel so comfortable there. Lynn is also amazing and the sweetest woman i have ever met. I moved to Branford about a year ago and I have never been to a salon that has so many perks... clean environment, professional tools, amazing customer service and INCREDIBLE quality. I always look forward to coming in to get my nails done

Over the last three years I have been to six nail salons in the New Haven area, and TK Nails is by far the best. Ive stayed with them for over a year now and I cant imagine I would ever go anyplace else.

Went here as a walk-in since my usual nail lady had no openings. My pedicure was fine, done by the older lady (sorry, didnt catch any names). When it came time for my nails, I wanted an acrylic fill. The tech suggested I get a new set because mine were old. I agreed and said sure, why not (splurging for me, as it was my birthday). She proceeds to RIP my acrylics off!! You are NOT supposed to RIP off acrylic nails. Youre supposed to soak them off in acetone. She did my right hand (only had 4 acrylics, as one had already come off)...when she got to the last two fingers, ring and pinky... she ripped my nails from forcing and prying the nail off. She insisted it was my nail just tearing from the acrylic being old (last time I got a new set was only 6 months ago). No. My nails would not have torn so low on my nail bed if not for her ripping and prying! They should have been soaked off, especially when they were not easily coming off!! Before she even touched my left hand, I asked her if they were able to soak them off instead... i didnt want anymore painful rips. She said, and i quote no, we dont do that here. What!?!? Finally got all my acrylics off. I was so upset that I just said Id rather get a simple manicure and be done. She passed me back off to the older lady to do my manicure. She was working next to a younger man. I casually asked once again if/why they dont soak off acrylic nails. And the man says sure, we do that!. So she lied?!? If a paying customer asks you to soak off acrylic nails, why arent you soaking them off?! I pray I dont get an infection from these two ripped nails. My nail bed is exposed because of this techs carelessness. I spent $58 on a pedicure and manicure....and used my own nail polish I bought from home. NEVER AGAIN!

Lynn and Rose do great work, theyre polite and know there customers by name. The salon is clean and cozy.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO USE THIS NAIL SALON!! I am 42 yrs old and have been getting my nails done for probably 20 years! And in my whole life this is the 1st time I ever had to write a bad review!! I just love the town of Branford and I feel like I owe it to people to let them know. I having been coming here regularly for a few years and spending a LOT of money getting my nails done there sometimes I’m a bit indecisive about what I want because I have a disability and they know that. I have always been very nice and tip extremely well! I spent over $100 getting a fresh set of gel nails put on about a week ago and 3 OF THEM FELL OFF IN UNDER A WEEK! I called today( wasn’t even mad just wanted them fixed) to see if I could make an appointment to get them fixed and get a fill and the owner told me that she wouldn’t fix them it was my fault and they will only fix them if they fall off in the first two days! I said I would pay ( even though I felt that wasn’t right as I get gel and gel polish and 3 fell off in 3 days and it’s only been a week???) Then the owner I believe her name is Lyn also went on to say that she didn’t care if I had a disorder or not she didn’t like me and she thought I was annoying and she didn’t care if she hurt my feelings or what issues I had! That she has enough customers and doesn’t need me as one! I was soo hurt and mortified! I have never in my life seen such a RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS OWNER! And honestly she sucks the two times I let her do my nails they looked horrible!!!! The brother was really good! Please share this because it’s harder enough living with a disability without mean evil people like her putting me down and hurting my feelings!!!!!! I never in my life thought I would have to feel bad about myself 😢 and depressed when all I wanted was a nail apt!!! I know this is really long review but I think it’s important people know! I was brought up being told u always try to build people up not put them down! PLEASE SHARE THIS ANYWHERE U CAN!
