This place is a dream. When we were first engaged my fiancé (now husband) and I looked at 11 venues in Connecticut and this was the first place we looked it... with each visit to other venues it became clear Bill Millers is the place for us. On top of its unique charm and gorgeous interior and exterior, it offered on stop shop! Almost everything can be provided or rented through them! As a couple with two full time careers and a young daughter this was huge for us!I have to mention how gorgeous the rainy day option is. We really wanted to not have to worry about the weather considering anything can happen in New England. The outside garden is lovely and we are so thankful we had a sunny day, but if it was raining the indoor ceremony option was just as nice.Victoria was our wedding coordinator and was a champ through out the planning process; which included helping us get through delaying the wedding a year due to Covid. She made everything stress free and answered our many questions promptly and with patience. I cannot thank her enough for her help!The bridal suite is one of the amazing selling points for this place! Its absolutely worth the small up charge to be in one location with your ladies all day while everything gets set up around you. There was plenty of space for 2 hair stylists, 1 make up artist, 2 moms, 6 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, and my daughter to all get ready!The food was amazing!! Everyone raved about it! We did buffet style and had the mashed potato bar which was a hit! And the lovely staff made sure the groom and I sat to eat which is often something that gets missed.I wouldnt do anything different. The day went perfectly and smoothly and that is no doubt due to Victoria and her teams effort! Even as my cake almost collapsed, Victoria and the staff was able to swiftly take care of it and save everyones dessert!
I love getting to go here for special events. The views are STUNNING. The back part outside has very well-kept greenery and beautiful flowers. Food is catered by La Luna and there is a lot of great food available in a buffet style. Every time Ive gone here, the people are fantastic and happy to get you whatever you need.
From the outside looks like a basic building but once you go inside your completely blown away; so don’t judge it based on the look/structure.Looking at photos online/social media don’t do any justice, you gotta see it to believe it. I will admit depending on where you go at times you’ll sorta forget the direction you came because of it being so big inside.The food choice that was served was definitely good, they had an array of different things & cater to people who may have a food allergy.It was my 1st time being there & even going to it for a “sweet 16”, it’s definitely a good theme for any female who wants to do that sorta party but they also do weddings there as well.
The experience we had at Bill Miller’s Castle was beyond what we could have imagined. The venue is amazing and Lisa, Victoria and Mary are Godsends. They were with us every step of the way from planning to execution. They were around the entire day making sure we had everything we needed whether it was what we were drinking, bringing us appetizers while doing pictures, to cleaning up after our messy selves. Absolutely amazing experience and wouldn’t recommend anywhere but here to be married!

Bill Millers Castle is an absolute dream come true! Our wedding had to be reschedule due to Covid-19. Victoria was amazing working with us to reschedule and making sure everything was going to be perfect. The food, the staff, the decorations, and everything about Bill Millers Castle was perfect. I must say this was the only venue I looked at because once you see this place you cannot use any other. They did everything for me - I worried about NOTHING on my day. They know what they are doing and had so many helpful tips that made the day run perfectly. Secondly this venue is beautiful. We had to do our wedding outside in a tent even not in the gorgeous interior and it was still beautiful!! Worth every single penny. Also please pay for the bridal suite - it made getting ready comfortable and fun! And a perfect storage place during the reception!

Bill Millers Castle is the total package. We chose the castle for our wedding venue because of its beauty and character, but we got so much more than just what you see! The food was amazing and they were very accommodating with our requests for our menu. The staff at Bill Millers treated us as family from start to finish. Victoria was there for us every step of the way... and for a bride planning her wedding, this was so important. Victoria and Lisa were so attentive the day of our wedding... fixing my hair and makeup for me, carrying my train, making sure our kids were smiling for photos- Victoria even carried our youngest, cranky son into our reception when he wouldnt walk out during introductions! They went so above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. And the beauty of the castle is breathtaking! I went to a bridal fair at the castle and immediately booked our wedding the following week- I didnt even look at another venue and it was the best decision I ever made. HIGHLY recommend for any future Mr & Mrs. Our wedding day was simply amazing, thanks to the Castle.
I had my wedding here & I couldnt be happier with how it turned out. Absolutely stunning & unique. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot & saw the castle, we knew this was going to be the place we would get married. Then we stepped inside & we were shocked at how incredible it is! We booked our wedding there that same day. It was the first & last venue we saw. The staff operated seamlessly & were so kind. Not to mention it is a family business! Victoria & her family were exceptional, I had no stress whatsoever thanks to them. I am so grateful for them! Also, booking Bill Millers Castle was simple & stress free. They were able to work within our budget, which was so amazing & kept in close contact with me leading up to our day, as well as supplied me with a bridal packet that made planning effortless. In fact, Victoria would answer my frantic texts within minutes when ever I had a question or a bridal breakdown. Money could not repay what they gave us that day, & I will forever be thankful to them. If I could give them a thousand stars, I would!

My husband and I were married at the castle on Sept 23rd. Victoria took care of everything and the wedding was beautiful! The castle is amazing and unlike other venues in the area. All our guests commented on how unique the venue was and the amazing food! I highly recommend if you are looking for an elegant, unique atmosphere for your wedding day!
Great place to have a wedding. I know the owners. They are very nice and know how to throw a fantastic wedding. The venue is great if weather is a concern as the ceremony can be done in doors or out. The food sets it apart it is restaurant quality, not typical wedding hall type food.

Went for Easter brunch. The place was beautifully decorated. The staff was so friendly and amazing. The food was great and the buffets offered many choices from eggs to lasagna. This will probably become an Easter tradition. They even had an Easter bunny come in for the kids who attended. Worth the money.
My first time ever there,went for the we brought our daughter there for the prom dance a couple of weeks ago . The staff was Great the Food was Great, Had a Great time .

Went for a work event, food was really great. The lines to the bar were slow but we had a lot of people so Im not sure how the staffing works for our event versus say a wedding. Really unique place, if you are looking for an event space check this one out.

I went there over the holidays to a shoreline Chamber of Commerce party. The castle is beautiful! The food was all exquisite, but the most impressive thing of all was simply the luxury surroundings. Everywhere you look you saw either beautiful stonework woodwork and other things you just dont find in your typical catering venue. Just exquisite!
Ive been here twice for an association event. The location and atmosphere were great, as well as the food, drink & service. The only downside is that the event has become so popular here, we may outgrow the venue!

An amazing venue. So beautiful and every one attending the wedding felt as if they were royalty. The staff was fantastic and the food from LA Luna was amazing.
One of a kind! My wife and I had been searching all over southern New England and most venues felt so cookie cutter. One step into Bill Miller’s Castle and we knew we found something special! The history of the building is just so cool. And it’s so filled with unique details and accents and decorations, it’s basically ready for a wedding with minimal additions, just handle your center pieces and maybe do floral and you are done!The back courtyard is large and very pretty, perfect for on site ceremonies, and with the deck it makes for an amazing reveal of the Bride! Watching my wife appear on the deck above the whole crowd and make her way down the stairs to the aisle… it really extends that moment of magic.The venue is large, with outdoor options for both ceremony and cocktail hour. Luckily we didn’t have rain on our big day, but we picked this spot because the indoor plan B for ceremony and cocktail hour was also really really strong, unlike many other venues we visited.The Castle is just so photogenic. Our photographers got incredible shots and because the building is not symmetrical and was built over many years, you can go all around the property and find unique backdrops everywhere! Inside and out the photos are great.Victoria was a perfect event coordinator and planner! She knows the venue so well and clearly runs a very tight ship! She had answers for every question we could have and even answered questions before we thought of them. She really made the whole process so incredibly easy and lowered the stress of our planning so much. We always felt we were well taken care of! She is just a great person to work with!The on site catering is handled by La Luna and the food was delicious! We loved the taste testing we enjoyed during our engagement, but the food on the day of was actually so much better! Perfectly cooked, and so much food!Last thing I need to mention. My wife and I had to postpone our original date in 2020 because of COVID. Victoria could not have been more accommodating and amazing about that whole situation! No tricky contracts or fees or costs. No haggling over dates. She had even stopped new business for 2021 until all her original postponed 2020 weddings were securely moved to 2021! That made the hard decision so much easier for my wife and I. And there were endless other things we needed or discussed and Victoria was always able to work with us and find the answer that was extremely fair! Made our day as perfect as it could be. The whole staff was just amazing, every step of the way.If you like the vibe of the photos of this place, trust me you have to visit! I am so glad we went with Bill Miller’s Castle.
