They also change my motor mounts my transmission mounts replace the fuel injector repaired my window washer pump and I can say my car has never run better run just like a dream they were courteous upfront about the work they were doing and the prices of that work the work was done in a very timely manner and it seems to be very high quality work and parts Id give it a 5-star rating

Great experience both times! Quick oil change and full vehicle check-up as I was planning a roadtrip for the holidays. Knew in advance my brakes needed to be done and was happy to hear that nothing else major was needed. Received a reasonable quote (including pictures of my rear brakes) and later in the week when I decided to move forward was able to call and get it serviced in the same day. Very much appreciated the quick turn around before the holidays. Will absolutely be back soon for my wifes car!

The term honest auto mechanic sounds like an oxymoron, but it really applies to Auto Works of Brandon... getting todays cars repaired is expensive and there is no way around it. But Mikes crew takes the time to diagnose problems and make only the repairs necessary to keep you safe and mobile. We have been customers for 10 years and they havent let us down yet!

They accepted delivery of tires and wheels from an online source with no hassle they mounted them same day the charge was completely reasonable super happy with the service

It took two weeks to get my vehicle back. Which I understood as the part had to be ordered and the virus and snail mail and such. However, I had been spending over $50 a day in ubers for two weeks only to be told a day before my vehicle was ready that they had a corporate account with Enterprise for $20 per day. That’s something I should have been told way earlier. Other than that, the service was good and people were friendly. They also communicated well.

AutoWorks of Brandon called to let me know that I still had pads remaining on my brakes and they really didnt need replacement yet. However, since its a 2nd hand car and I dont know if the brakes had ever been replaced and the high mileage, I asked them to do so anyway. They did. They could have just gone ahead and performed the repair without informing me it didnt really require new brakes -- so honest!

Have had bad mechanic experiences but not here. I haven’t had any major issues that need work but they complete all maintenance to my satisfaction. Have convenient ways of dropping off and picking up my vehicle which is also a big plus.

Absolutely love this place! If you have a European car this is the shop to bring it to. As the old saying goes you pay for what you get. If you are looking to save money in the end and have it done right the first time call these guys. Sometimes it ends up being cheaper to pay a bit more for quality work. Cutting corners almost never works. Thats why I love these guys...very thorough and very methodical.

David was super friendly and they seem like a very knowledgeable shop. They also seemed to take cleaning very seriously. Only had a PPI done but they were thorough, didnt nitpick, but talked to me about different items as someone who knows cars.

Worked with Michael Rubio on a Land Rover I have that has a bad brake squeal after another shop replaced all pads and rotors. I have no doubt he has my best interest in mind and is giving me advice on how to save money working with the other shop rather than spend out of pocket again at his. Hes gone out of his way to help me with no promises of getting paid. Says a lot about a business owner. I know where I want to take my future business

Words cannot do justice for how incredible of an experience I’ve had with this auto shop. Mike and Destiny provided a customer service experience that is second to none. I was in a major pickle with my truck, and these guys went above and beyond to accommodate me. Repairs were done in a more than timely fashion, and they worked within my budget without compromising quality. Guys I can’t say it enough, thank you so much for all your help. If you’re in the Brandon area, you have got to call these guys for any auto repairs. They are a fresh breath of air in an industry too often associated with inflated costs and dishonesty.

They were still open at a quarter to 4 but they didnt have time to help us.

They took excellent care of both my cars. Also, their paperless methods of quoting, invoicing and receipts make it easier to keep track off. Most importantly the cars were ready when they said they would be!! They deserve a 6-star rating!!!

Based on reviews had my friend take the BMW in to diagnose problems with A/C. They charged $180 to diagnose the blower resistor was bad (first thing I would have checked). Then wanted to charge over $400 to replace the resistor...a $37 part (at most $75) and 30 minutes of work!! I told her to decline the repair and just pay the diagnosis fee and I would replace the part (I have done this numerous times on BMWs & other brands....pretty simple). She paid the bill online and arrived to pickup the car (which was still left apart, so I told her to leave it as is, just makes my job easier) They played games not giving her her keys and making up stories of who had the keys. The mechanics were running behind her back trying to put it back together. After threatening to call the police, she got her keys.This is a very unprofessional shop, with deceptive practices and extremely high repair prices.. The job that should have cost at most $150 - $175 they wanted over $400. Its so unprofessional to take advantage of a woman and her children.Stay away from this repair place...being a member of the local BMW Owners group I will spread the word.

Love the automation of the updates through text! Quality job! The owner himself double checked and even drove the car to ensure it was perfect. I recently moved to Valrico and needed a new mechanic. I searched google and found Auto Works of Brandon. They had good reviews. I called the shop and Destiny was extremely kind and patient in answering all my questions. She even offered to make some calls to help me understand the kind of warranty I had purchased with my vehicle and called me back with the information. Such customer service is a rare find these days, so thank you, Destiny! I wanted a shop that would be sure and follow the service schedule for my 2015 Subaru Outback. I scheduled an oil change and they had a whole list of things they included and inspected as part of their oil change service. They rotated my tires, which was neglected by the first auto repair shop I tried.They did look up the Subaru schedule to make sure they inspected everything listed there as well. They recommended 2 additional items and sent pictures to back up why they were suggesting them. I feel positive about Auto Works of Brandon and appreciate how accommodating they were with me and my schedule for this service visit.

Inspection during the service detected an issue with a steering component to which they not only brought to my attention they also contacted my warranty company to verify it was covered. Before ordering anything they did a full vehicle inspection & immediately sent me a report via TEXT! - honestly this alone was the best feature a shop could offer. Got my car towed in and the quickly fixed & replaced the part. Even took the time to show me how my air intake was burned off, and how my sensor was detached (like i said it was a long story) but never the less. AMAZING service! i hope i wont be back but if i have to get back i will.

This is my second time visiting this shop. Auto Works always diagnose my BMW issues same day, no BS (like Ive gotten at other shops around town)! My car was fixed & running the very next day the first time I brought it in and now this second time it was fixed within a couple of days.Just wish I couldve gotten all warning lights (that were very visible) diagnosed for the one diagnostic fee... but still 5 stars and highly recommend!😊

When I brought my car to them I explained to them a whining sound it was making. I suggested it may need a tune-up. It was explained that it would be better to run diagnostics to pin point the issue/issues instead of throwing money at something that may not be the problem. They were correct! It was a bad alternator. It was replaced and I was out of there in about 2 hours. Friendly, honest, professional. I’ve found my new mechanics!

Very professional prompt and courteous work. They showed you the problems that was wrong with your car instead of just leaving you assuming they were being honest. That is very valued when you can visually see what is the problem with the cars instead of like the AC guy that fix my air this weekend and now its not fixed for $1,250 later. I will use them again and recommend them theyre honest quality company. All companies should show you the Diagnostics in pictures instead of just believing people are honest. In this case it was a very pleasant experience
