Went yesterday. The guy at front desk was great. I had a autozone free report with me gave it to the guy at front desk when the mechanic who was standing there said it was useless and that he should do another report for $99. When I said no ,he again said that the report I had was useless and probably would not work. He got mad and again said that I needed his $99. Report. I said just change the sensor. Was not sure if I should leave my car But did cause I needed to get it fixed. Not sure if he did anything else to my car. I got it home. I will take it back to autozone tho and see if he did anything. I will not be going back. So sad that this is what has become of Sears. As a child this is where my mom shopped. When my kids were growing up this is where I shopped.

My car would crank but no start. They charged me $80 just to read the code and said could not fix it. I took it to a mechanic in everett and he fixed it in 30 mins and did not charge me anything for diagnostic. Sears auto repair in south shore plaza is the worst place to go to get your vehicle repaired. They don’t have good business and will do anything to take money from you

Edit Jun 24: Branch manager called me this morning and adjusted my payment to $134. I truly appreciate the cooperation from the manager and admire their professionalism. He explained that the online quote does not include shop fee and filter so it has increased when I was at the store and remove the charge for second transmission flush. I changed my opinion and highly recommend their service.I strongly recommend to avoid this auto center. I booked the appointment online on Jun 22 for an oil and transmission fluid change for $134. Then I came here they adjusted it to $154. I asked why did they do it. The guy in the counter told he will adjust it later and other customers are waiting in the line. Then after 1 hr he called and told that I have to pay $212 because the first transmission fluid flush didnt work so they have to do it again and I have to pay for the fluid. Its truly disappointing. I will never come back here and advise everyone to avoid it.

I was very impressed with both the service and professionalism at this Auto Center, especially considering that we made it there only a few short minutes before closing time. My girlfriend and I developed a flat tire this Sunday and needed to be back in New York on Monday morning. Not many places are open on Sundays, and even less would stay open a few extra minutes in order to finish the job. These guys did both, and I want to thank Bob, Ron and James for going above and beyond and getting us back on the road. All I can say is I hope Im in Braintree the next time I have car trouble!

Prices to high, quoted a price of $75-100 higher per tire than the Amazon ones that would be shipped there and installed for $16-25. Called the 800#, mentioned the Amazon issue they offered me an apology and a coupon. Did walk in service at Firestone, same day, cheaper price, better tires.

I bought 4 tires from amazon and ship to this shop to install (amazon suggested for $67), but when i came to install tires, they said that they don’t do for flat tires becauce they dont have the machine. I thought they’re a big shop, they must have machine for all tires or they didn’t want to do because amazon suggested a very low fee

I’ve been coming here for unexpected or planned repairs for a few years now and have to say its always a good experience. The associates are always incredibly helpful and courteous. Prices are always competitive and I’m never being sold more than what I came there for. Also love that I can make an appt online, which makes the wait time much shorter. Overall highly recommended!

I had very bad experience in this auto service today.They are not professional.I brought tire online. I got email for confirmation for they have tire.I went store to replace my tire. They do not have it .customer service tell me, store in Brockton has it.I went Brockton to replace it. They can not access to my previous order .So I order one tire again and I dont know how cancel previous one.They waste my time and my money. and they can not cancel my order because it was online.All that because some one can not do has job.

I have to say I was very impressed with my brake change service - I came in for the first time today at 2pm and left no later than 415pm with the awful sound gone! Coupons were applied and there was also a rebate available so the total was approx. $330, much less than my Volvo dealership! I would definitely recommend

Realizing that customers usually write a review when they are frustrated with the experience, I feel urged to give this review since by comparison this Sears Auto did a great job in servicing my car. Not only are the manager and staff nice and professional, but also because they have master technicians in-house, they are capable of doing some more complicated technical jobs well. Two thumbs up!

I saw the review before I came here and I was so worried, cuz all the review was so bad. But they were so nice and super professional! Got oil change, alignment and tire rotation all done in an hour! I went in yesterday to get 4 tires and a battery replaced. I was told it would take 2 hours. 5 1/2 hours later, I was still there. The employees are polite, but the wait was unnacceptable.

Horrible customer service. Dont waste your time. Made an appointment for oil change and was told would take about an hour. Got there and checking in took so long, then was told it would be over two hours and there were people in front of me. Said nevermind cancel the whole thing and left. I was losing my patience with the guy helping me, I couldnt even spend another minute there...

My experience with them was awful, they ordered my tires on a Tuesday and have me come in the following Sunday, and after an hour while I was there they told me the tires are not there, and am still waiting another hour to get my car back, and it is very upsetting because they told me the tires take only one day arrive. Sorry I cant give 0 stars.

Careless employees, takes hours to get an oil change and tire rotations. Came back by the time they said theyd be done. Nothing was done and my car was just sitting there. Had to wait another hour and a half until they finally started to work and finish it. It was painful to wait.They dont care about inconveniencing people at all. Would not advise going here unless you want to go shopping for many hours.Also, when i went there there were not that many people.Worst customer service.

I would NOT RECOMMEND this repair shop. I would give zero stars if that was an option. An oil change takes hours. I have never seen worse customer service, especially from the manager, who was MOST disrespectful to me as a loyal customer.

Contrary to the overall current reviews I must say my experience with Sears auto Braintree was suprisingly seemless and phenomenal. This was my 1st time and their customer service and overall service was phenomenal. Greg scheduled my service over the phone which was quick, seemless and effecient. He asked if it was my 1st time, created a profile for me, made me what on what to expect. When I arrived, Zach greeted me outside and instructed me to park my vehicle outside and meet him inside. My appointment was @9 AM in the morning and Zach hadnt had his coffee as yet. (We joked about this a bit) Even without coffee he was very pleasant and quite accommodating. After leaving and going into the mall I needed to return to my car for a bag I had forgotten. Zach told me it was not a problem and helped me retrieve it while Tom was working on my car. I was super late in picking up my car. The job only took about an hour and Zach had already called me to let me know my car was ready however, I was caught up with doing so much shopping I lost track of time. When I returned to pick up my car. Another gentlemen offered to take my bags to the car as he pulled my car out front. ABSOLUTELY GREAT SERVICE! #thebest #TY 🙋🏾‍♀️👌🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🙌🏾

Set up an appointment for 9am. First one in there. Just needed an oil change and some new wipers popped on. Its 11:15 and im still waiting. Wow this is insane. If you are in any kind of rush, avoid this place like the plague.

I would not come back here again. I made an appointment for oil change. Called before I get in. The guy told me it would take 1 hr to finish the work. When I checked in, I also asked the same question. He told me the same thing. Funny thing is, same time there was a guy complained that he has been waiting for 2 hrs. I asked if Im gonna wait for 2 hrs too. The guy told me no. So I went into the mall and wait. After 1 and half hr, I can back, realizing that the work is just stared! the guy felt no sorry for my long waiting time. He just told me u have to be patient, the work take time. Sooo wrong. Ive never had an oil change that take so long!

Customer on the phone was told that they couldnt help them, they dont work on hybrids. Customer in front of me told couldnt get an estimate because the person that does that wasnt in. I was told I couldnt be helped because they had no bead sealant and IF that was the problem with my tire, then it would be a waste of time. Shame

I used to go to Sears Auto in Dedham and had HORRIBLE customer service. I switched to Braintree 2 years ago and have nothing but INCREDIBLE customer service. I have no complaints!
