Had a bad experience last week at the Brainerd Powerlodge. I called them on 9/14/21 to schedule a routine service appointment for my 2013 Polaris Ranger which I bought new at Powerlodge. Even though I live 30 miles away, I thought I’d get better service where I bought it. I was wrong.I wanted to get the service done before the opening of the Minnesota duck season since we use the machine to traverse a 2 mile long, muddy cart path to reach our duck shack. On 9/14 I was told that 9/24 was the earliest open appointment available. I told them this would work for me if I could get it in right at 9, and have it done by 11 am, since the duck season opened at sunrise 9/25. I was told that would work for them as well.So I trailered the Ranger from the farm near the duck shack where we keep it, a distance of 140 miles, a couple of days prior, and brought it to Powerlodge at 8:50 am on 9/24. I spoke with 2 mechanics who I reminded about the quick turnaround promised.I then left to go to the Chevy dealer for a minor repair on my suburban, which I had also scheduled that morning. The suburban was fixed promptly, and I returned to Powerlodge at 11:20. One of the service managers told me they hadn’t started on it yet. I reminded him of their promise and was told “he” was tied up on another repair which had carried over from the night before. Apparently “he” is the only mechanic capable of doing routine service to a Polaris Ranger. More likely however, as reflected in several other reviews, the Powerlodge service department lacks adequate management and supervision. No one tells the mechanics what commitments have been made to customers, or what the priorities are for the day.I told him to forget it and to get my Ranger. I had to leave because I was meeting my hunting partners out in western Minnesota at 3 PM, and we had to use the Ranger to get us and our equipment to our duck shack that afternoon and evening. It then took the service desk almost 20 minutes get ahold of someone to get my machine.No apology, no offer or attempt to make things right. Just a blank stare rom the service desk. So I had to haul the Ranger home again after the weekend, and now have an appointment locally to get the work done this week. Bottom line; Powerlodge permanently lost another customer, who will share his poor experience with anyone who might ask about the Powerlodge, or ATV or marine service and sales in general.

After waiting 3 weeks for an appointment with service I dropped the boat off a day early. I called the day of appointment and was told yes it was the next one up but it was getting late so fine Ill wait an pick up next day. No Problem I was told. When I called that afternoon was told the same thing its next. Called again at 430p was told just finishing up another and I was next told them I need it today No Problem again. So at 545pm I stopped to pick it up. They hadnt even looked at it and said now itll be next Tuesday. One lie after another. Welcome to Power Lodge brainerd.

It only took a matter of a couple hours for these guys to diagnose what ranger and Frankies marine couldnt do in 4 1/2months ,cant say enough about this place ,they have the best costomer relationship in mind i recomend this place to anyone who own watercraft.

Isaac Fuhrman at the Brainerd location was the best! He took my call and didnt treat me as if I didnt know what I was looking for when I called needing an adapter for my trolling motor to my Helix! He was nice, professional and courteous and didnt even fuss when I requested he tell me the model number so that I could be sure they had the specific part I was looking for! (as the shops I contacted prior, told me yeah I have the part when in fact they did not! I do know what I was talking about!) Thank you Power Lodge and thank you Isaac!

Denny the Parts manager is awesome. We rented 4 snowmobiles and gear. He made sure we had everything we needed for the -19° weather. Highly recommend doing any kind of business with these guys.

5 Stars! Highly recommend!! I recently bought a used Polaris Slingshot from Cory at Power Lodge. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the product, and promptly sent me extra pictures and information I had asked for. He even helped me out when I had a question on his day off. Power Lodge’s price was more than fair, the machine was very well represented, and even though I live over 300 miles away, I made the purchase over the phone and picked up the slingshot the following day. It was worth the trip! I also talked with Tom, the owner, while at the store. I had put a deposit down on the Slingshot and was already on my way to pick it up when they realized they had made a mistake when pricing the Slingshot online (A computer error had marked the online price too low). Even though there was a mistake, and they probably lost money on the sale, Tom honored the price we agreed upon. I don’t know of many other businesses who would have done this! You could not ask for more honest or trustworthy people than Tom, Cory, and the guys at Power Lodge! I highly recommend doing business here. I will not hesitate to make the 300 mile trip to Power Lodge again in the future for any of my powersports needs!

We bought a Polaris Ranger Northstar in July. We were told it would take a couple of weeks to get and it came right on time. Our Salesman, Kirk, was knowledgeable and what he didn’t know he found the answers for us. As of today we have 1900 miles on the Ranger and it runs great!

I bought a new 2017 Lund in 2017 from this dealer. I think it was around 25K. I decided this week to trade it back in to them and get something different. I went to Power Lodge with my boat and trailer and was told they would give me 6K. They said it was because of dock scratches to one side of the boat. I decided to go to the Tracker dealer across the highway to see what they had to say. I was offered $11,500.00 from them. I thought that when you buy a car or boat from a dealer and trade it back to the same dealer to buy another new unit, they were the ones that were suppose to give you the best deal. Thats obviously not the case. I usually leave only positive reviews but I want to make sure people know to price check these guys when doing a trade-in. Ive gone to them many times in the past but keep getting the same level of customer service. Even when I call in, they usually dont return my calls. I will never set foot in this establishment again. Buyer Beware!

Just walked in to the Brainerd Power sports store planning on ordering a new atv and possibly a new personal water craft. I walked in there were several sales people on the floor. One was busy with a customer, another was on the phone and another was reading a magazine. I walked around for a good 15 mins and no one said hi or we will be right with you. $10,000 to $20,000 just walked out your door. I will go to another dealer to full-fill my orders.

I have worked and lived to get to the point where I can order my first new ANYTHING! My cousin bought a boat from Cory at Power Lodge. He had such a good experience, I thought Id give them a shot. Did LOTS of emails to Cory. He responded to EVERY single stupid little question I had. I am absolutly over the moon for how they handled everything so far! Cory is very personable and knows the products. I can not wait for my boat to come in......

Let me preface my review first, I am a huge fan of shopping local and buying local. I actually bought my four wheeler here and it was a great experience at that time. I was at first excited to keep my dollars with this local dealership. Unfortunately my salesman from then is no longer here. I called power Lodge today at about 11 AM or so to see if they had any boats similar to what I was looking for. They happened to have the exact type model make and length that I wanted and it hadn’t hit their website yet. I made it to the dealership by 12:50....After talking with the salesman for a short while on the phone I took off from work and had my wife take off as well to come and look at this because we knew it was going to go fast. Come to find out after deciding that it was the boat for us and spending some time at the dealership, that they had already taken a deposit on it last Friday! This review is being written on a Wednesday. They had not heard from that buyer since last Friday and still gave that person preference over somebody who was ready, willing, and able to buy it today. The salesman who was working with those buyers didn’t even realize it! Talk about just being a number to a salesman... I can understand if one salesman didn’t realize that another salesman had already sold the boat earlier that day or something but the fact that they took a deposit four days ago and didn’t even realize it until after we tried to put a deposit on the boat.We don’t lightly make decisions but we knew this was the perfect out for our family. I’ve been looking off and on for the past six months or so. I was at the dealership two hours after I called them and they didn’t even realize that they had already sold the boat. Extremely poor experience this go around. I wish I had written a good review from my first experience there but here we are.I am not a fan of leaving poor reviews at all but I also believe they can help consumers make good buying decisions down the road. I literally had the boat of my dreams in front of me, ripped away because these guys didn’t know what they were doing.

Power lodge is the only place that I will bring my boat. I live over 2 hours away and continually had bad service experiences at other service shops. Ive been bringing my boats here for the last 3 years and have been 100% satisfied every time. (And Im pretty picky)

I had the thumb throttle break off of my 2020 Sportsman 450 while at the cabin. I bought the machine from Chopper City in Fridley where we get all our off road machines and service them as I know the owner personally, but was at the cabin so I had to find a closer option to get this warranty work done.I called Powerlodge the next morning when they opened and everyone I talked to was very polite and accommodating. They told me we could just bring in a picture of the mileage and get the part instead of having to haul the machine in.Upon arrival, we were greeted immediately when we walked in. The dealership was very clean and well laid out. Issac in parts already had the part waiting for me at the service desk when we arrived. I only had the broken thumb piece on me and not the whole assembly, so Mike in warranty service went in back and disassembled the part and gave me the only part I really needed, instead of me having to drive back 45 minutes to pull the whole assembly off and then drive back to the Powerlodge. I even received a follow up phone call a couple hours later from Issac checking to make sure I got what I needed.As a General Manager of a motorcycle dealer in the cities, I was very impressed with the operation all around. I have found my cabin dealer and do not see myself going anywhere else for my up north off road needs. Thank you Issac, Mike and Powerlodge for a great experience. I will be back.

I was looking for a Lund boat, most of the dealers were not budging at all on the price, in fact they were marking it up beyond what the manufacturer suggests. I was grateful to find Kirk and get a deal done. Lund came through with the boat very quickly even with covid being an issue. All was as ordered and the quality of the boat as well as the sales experience were exceptional. I drove 8 hours from Illinois just to have a good experience and a fair price, I found both at Power Lodge, Brainerd.

Fantastic service and they borrowed us a trailer and straps to get a Ranger home!!

This is the best dealership in the Brainerd area, the staff members are very welcoming and helpful. Over a month ago I purchased a new 2020 Polaris RZR Turbo from the Power Lodge, Brainerd. The customer service I received from all the staff was outstanding. Tim Simondet, General Manager, was so professional and friendly to work, putting my purchasing interests first and foremost. Nathan Hughes, Sales, worked hard to initiate a great trade-in value for my 2017 Polaris ATV, and he ultimately presented me with a very attractive final net price for the RZR. I had a number of accessories installed as well purchased a number of accessories from Biff in Parts that I planned on installing myself. Biff is so knowledgeable and was great to work with...really went the extra mile to serve my accessory needs. I needed a new trailer to haul the new RZR, so Tim and Nathan sharpened their pencils and gave me a price close to their cost, and I purchased it. In summary, a Gold Star purchasing experience at Power Lodge and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for friendly and customer-focused service! I stopped by Friday afternoon to pick up a part for my sled. The power was out in the store because of the snow storm and they couldnt access their computers, but they were still able to get my part to me. Kirk knows his ATVs and was awesome at checking current inventory to see what was still crated up in the yard. Prices were as good or better than other dealers that were at least an hour or more away. I would definitely call Kirk the next time Im shopping for a machine.

Impressive customer service. My parents bought a new Pontoon from Power Lodge. All of a sudden, on the busiest weekend of the year, pontoon will not start. We called first thing on Saturday morning to try and somehow get the pontoon fixed, assuming they would say sorry we are too busy, bring it in next week. Instead they said we will be at your cabin in a few hours to fix your boat. A few hour later one of the main guys from Power Lodge showed up at our cabin and had the boat fixed in an hour or so. Power Lodge goes the extra mile to take care of their customers.

Did not have the part, supplier problem I was not happy, Tom the owner got involved, had the service man remove the part from a new unit and I was on my way.Im from Iowa 480 miles from his business. Could have just a esally said, sorry, it simply didnt come in.That is the mark of a truly good man.Tom thinks my name is Larry because that is the name on my ticket. Its Lee Crook.I think local people should consider this business, hell I may drive up and buy a ATV from him.

We took our 2016 Bad Boy ATV 4 Wheeler in for repairing the EPS system and installation of a winch on it. Super nice friendly staff and only place we found that works on these in our area. Stay tuned for the price of these services when we pick it up. Changed my review they have had my onslaught for 3 months have made no progress on repairs dont update us. We continually call Going there to pick it up dont think we should be charged for no repair. Sold us a winch said it would work with the new ATV we bought from them it doesnt so frustrated and dissatisfied with this place. Dont go there for anything.Got a call from the manager today and was updated on the lack of technical support for this discontinued ATV from Textron who originally had this ATV made for them. They have an excellent service department at Powerlodge still searching for answers but we might just have a lemon on our hands.

The Power lodge staff are just awesome! They had the atvs done when promised. The staff members were all very friendly and very knowledgeable about power sports. They reviewed with us what they did to the atvs and answered all our questions. Atvs were clean and ready to go when we got there. We wouldnt think of taking our business for power sports anywhere else. Whether buying or repairing Power Lodge is the best!

Worst experience I have ever had as a consumer. Communication is horrible, professionallism is none exsistant, employee turnover is high which would leed me to believe management is insufficient. Issues started at purchase and continue to get worse through warranty issues. Dropped off my new boat in November for warranty issues and picked it up in April in worse condition than I dropped it off. Buyer beware.
