I got here at 4:00 for my appointment and i’ve been waiting for 45 minutes. the ladies that got here after me are now being helped while i’m still waiting.

Wow. Overpriced! As you can see these are freshly done, I got the dip yesterday and woke up this morning and the entire polish came OFF of my TWO fingers. What the heck? They done them so thin ( only dipped a couple times ) to be cheap. THIS COST ME $60!

I love this place! I have had several pedicures here and they do an excellent job. Great price, fantastic foot massage, just an all around wonderful job. And very pleasant employees, clean and relaxing environment!

Everyone here is super professional and the quality is outstanding. Ive been coming here for years and its always a relaxing time.

Not impressed…got a gel pedicure and manicure just yesterday and one day later my pedicure is chipped (and I only wore Birkenstock’s all day) and the tips of my manicure have turned black. Sad when you spend $100 for a salon service you expect to last several weeks, I could have done this at home and had better quality. Will not be going back.

Worst nails I have ever gotten ! So thick, like they weren’t filed right. He didn’t push my cuticles back or cut them. I’m not sure if that’s standard but that is the first step at all of the other salons I have been too. It seemed like he was rushing & doing them halfway. I would not have paid $20 for these !!!

Booked 3 pedicure appointment and had one technician. When an additional one came to help the original one left. Very unprofessional. No thanks just left. Couldn’t even wait to finish. Left with gel light still running. Rude staff. Would not recommend.

I got my nails done by this awesome lady and she didn’t cut me and she didn’t grab my hand she was Great we had a conversation overall best experience I’ve had getting my nails done by far in 2020 thank you for the gorgeous nails and being such a kind lady and actually wanted to have a conversation with the clients

I had a man who just wasnt as good as the ladies.

I was looking for a nail place up in the area and drove by this one. Walked in right after they opened and I was able to get in right away. They do dip powder, which is my favorite, and it looks great! I would say if you want to come here try and make an appt or come in right away in the am as they were booked the rest of the day.

Took their time and my pedicure looks very nice.

Excellent nail salon. Ngoc Tran is always so pleasant and capable. She offers several various manicures and pedicures and is so kind to all who talk in. The shop is incredibly neat and clean with everyone spaced more than 6 feet apart. I have been going to her for years and plan to continue going to her for many more years to come.Jackie Anderson

I do not live near this nail salon, so I have visited here twice in the last two years. Both times I have come, I have been extremely impressed by the work that the technicians have done. My visit today was excellent, and Amy was extremely professional. She happily added an extra topcoat like I requested, and was a perfectionist in every sense of the word. Tina helped me last year and did an amazing job, as well. My gel manicure lasted three weeks or more. Highly recommend.

Extremely poor service. We were told to come back at 3 for our pedicures. We came back a little before 3 and waited until 4 to finally be seen. The women that did my pedicure personally, did not wash or sanitize any of her utensils before starting on me. Once seated we were never asked what kind of pedicures we wanted and everything was rushed. They totally forgot the massage for one of my girls and another one had to go to a different place to have her pedicure fixed because the women doing her pedicure wasn’t listening about her hang nails. I understand that no one wants to be at work late but they didn’t close until 5 and we were suppose to be seen at 3. So poor time management skills on their part. I get that it gets busy; however, this is extremely unacceptable. Extremely rude employees, poor customer service, and lack of cleanliness. I would not recomend getting anything done at this place not because of one persons experience but solely for the cleanliness factor.

I made a grand entrance and dropped my polish bottle on the way to my chair. It shattered and splashed everywhere! So embarrassing but Jeanie handled the situation with kindness and grace. The pedicure was heavenly (always is!) and I will definitely keep coming back here!

Extremely disappointed! Less than 24 hours after overpaying for a fill with gel polish, the polish is peeling off! Technician was on the phone with her son for part of my visit and burned my fingers twice. DO NOT GO HERE!!

I have gone to Ja-Mi Nails For about a year and have always been pleased with their service. I get a gel manicure. And my daughter has gotten manicures and pedicures and has always been happy with the results.

As much as I want to like this place. I can’t and this review is long overdue. I’ve never written a bad review so for me to write this must say a lot about my experiences here. Although the owner does great work, everyone is rude, no one greets you upon arrival and they are habitually late for your scheduled appointments. Also, I am very concerned about their cleaning and sanitizing procedures and lack there of, as I have yet to see a pack of sanitized tools. I have asked how they can get away with using the same tools over and over without sanitizing between clients. I have had my nails done for years (not here), but my recent repeated bad experiences here have made me decide that I can live without nice manicured nails. If you are looking for good customer service, timely service and sanitized equipment, I would definitely go elsewhere.

Jami always provides a first class service. People that see my nails notice how nice they look. She uses the best products and also uses the most recent products. The shop is always tidy.

It is true what they say --- get an appointment. We walked in at 10 thining no one would be there. It was a full room. We were able to make an appointment time and came back. They staff was quick and very good. I loved my experience. Clean, courteous. I will return again!

My daughter an I wanted something fun to do for Mothers Day so we decided to try this place out. Needless to say this was the best idea ever!! We had gone the day before and made an appointment for Pedis. As soon as we arrived the next day they were ready for us with warm water and comfy massage chairs!! We are definitely going back every 2 weeks now for sure!! Thanks for the wonderful time yall are amazing!!

The service was poor, we arrived at 10 am when they opened and got in right away. However, the whole time they seemed annoyed we were there and did not care while doing our pedicures. My feet soaked for 2 mins then were out of the water during the whole pedicure. There is so much skin left around my toenails it does not look clean. I have more polish and clear coat surrounding my nails that now that I’m home and that’s peeling off my skin, it’s also coming off the nail as well. My manicure is OK, definitely not that best I’ve had before. I did a gel French tip. They did not clean up the skin around my nail and I have so much clear and white under my nails and surrounding that it’s now starting to peel off my nails. And mind you, we just got home so it’s been roughly 3 hours since our service. We will not be back.

My sister and I got pedicures for the first time here and I had a fantastic experience! The young woman who did my nails was extremely thorough and just wonderful! However, my sister had the guy that worked there and he only seemed to work to get done and missed many things so that she didnt gett he full experience for her first time. She didnt even get her bad of stuff! We will definitely try again though!

Sat there for half an hour after my appointment time and no one even asked what I was there for. Ladies came in after I did and were seated almost immediately. Never again.Update:I am a glutton for punishment..thought I would give them one more try. Worst nail job I have ever had. Gel polish is bubbled, and wonky. Looks terrible. That was after sitting for an hour past my appointment time. Only 2 people working, over scheduling so you can wait an hour for service.....never again.

Ja-Mi and Jamie are absolutely wonderful, fabulous, professional, and efficient! My nails always look gorgeous and I get compliments on my nails everywhere I go! Ive been going to them for years and years, and I am a raving fan of theirs!!

Good first time experience. I did a walk in. Got there 4:45, there was only 2 people working so I wasnt started till 5:45 but she did a nice job.

Got a toenail fungus here. It seemed nice, but out of probably 50 pedicures I’ve had in my life this is the first time I’ve ever had something like this happen. Gross.

They were not ready for us when we arrived. Got us in 10 minutes after our appointment was supposed to have started. We were the last pedicures of the day, and you could tell. This was the shortest, quickest pedicure Ive ever had. From the time we got into the chair and under the dryer it was 20 minutes I felt as if we were unconvincing them by being there. They did not offer for us to look at the menu, to see different pricing/packages. We will not be going back.

Everything was going well, massages, getting toes done, relaxing, chitchat, and then the guy doing nails started watching a war movie with continuous shooting and a little foreign language. Not at all the atmosphere for a nail salon. Otherwise, would have been 5 stars.

We booked an appointment for 11 people for nails before a wedding and they only had 3 people working who were all with other clients when we walked in. They should have properly staffed especially for a special occasion appointment.

Im really picky when it comes to my nails because it is such a luxury for me. I looked up a few different places while visiting Brainerd because i was in need of a pedicure. I chanced it a did a walk in. The lady who did my pedicure was very sweet and had a sincere conversation with me. Definitely will be back!

I had a 3 pm appointment for a deluxe pedicurecand I walked in the door at 3 pm. There were 2 staff working, one close by the desk. I stood there for 5 minutes and she did not even so much as look up. She answered the telephone but never said, can I help you, or please take a seat until someone can help you, or any type of acknowledgement. My husband came in and said he was going to Mills and would be back. I told him to wait as no one had waited on me yet. We stood there another 3 or 4 minutes and I said to.hm that we would leave since no one acknowledged my presence. I dont need this kind of treatment so Ill take my money elsewhere and if anyone asked me about this place I will not recommend it.

They are very polite and do very good work.

My manicures still look good almost 2 weeks later which is always a plus. I highly suggest calling them ahead of time if you dont want wait.

I was not happy at all I understand not speaking English but they need to be able to understand their customers at least a little bit. And I actually went somewhere else 2 days after I got a full fill and had them redone I was not happy at all

My first pedicure was the worst...no massage and nails cut to a point.Gave them another chance today. I was told to come at 11:30. I waited fifteen minutes & then they took a drop-in. I left. They were also rude and arrogant. I will not go back.

My wife set up an appointment for a pedicure and arrived 10 minutes early. A woman saw me, looked away, and said nothing so I sat down. I had never been here before.Two women walked in, sat down for 10 minutes, and were then called in together to get pedicures. The owner greeted them and didnt acknowledge me. I sat there for 10 minutes thinking that perhaps this was just a scheduling oversight. Then another women walked in and was greeted by the person working there.I walked out after 20 minutes with the man and woman working there NEVER acknowledging me. Dont know if they are employees, but a local resident told me that this place is run by a husband and wife.Ironically, my husband was getting his hair cut at a local establishment and mentioned that I was here at the same time for a pedicure. The barber said that she had visited this place once and would NEVER go back.What happened to customer service? Maybe they dont need new customers.

March 21st, I was visiting family in MN - I wanted to get my nails done and this place had outstanding reviews so I made up my mind that I was going to try this place. First off - I went in wanting gel nails done - which I have had done before so I knew the process, well the guy that did them did not take care of my cuticles or nails for that matter before putting the artificial nails on. Second - while he was filing the artificial nails, he made my skin raw on multiple fingers - which were red and burned for hours afterwards. Third - I hate it when they do not make conversation or let me know what they want from me but instead they point and are extremely rude when I dont know what they want. With that being said I will NEVER return to this place and I will NOT recommend my friends and family here. I was extremely disappointed with the service and how the nails turned out. The guy did not fill my whole nail with the gel so they already look like they need to be filled and when it came to drying - he told me one cycle and I was good to go, well my nails smeared while leaving. NEVER AGAIN! They were rude from the minute I walked in the door!

I have been to Ja-Mis 4 times and both times I did my hands I was offered a Gel nail and when I said yes they proceeded to use a powder this is a RIP OFF gels do not come in powder I was told this by another salon professional and looked it up online to find it true. They charged me more for a scam to try to sell me a better acrylic Gel Nail which gels do not come in powder. I do like the quality of nails but this set me off and they do not have any creative flare at all. So if you are looking for a good mani/pedi or acrylic set with basic polish or French tips its great but if looking for something special dont get your hopes up and dont opt for the gel powder.

So, I choose Ja-Mi nails as they had good reviews online. I went in for my wedding nails with my bridesmaids. My bridesmaids had great service. Me on the other hand, I did not. My pedicure was good. I got to my manicure and it went downhill. The guy doing my nails, clipped my nails at the pedicure bed, but put the bowl of water to soak my hand in on my lap, and was looking at things going on at the salon while pushing back my cuticles. He then moved me to a manicure station, told me that my French manicure with glitter idea was not what he would do, and thought it wasnt classy, but didnt offer any other ideas. I probably would have been better off with a female to gush over ideas...I needed a little help with my bridal nails. He wasnt happy putting glitter on my French manicure. He didnt offer to do a design or rhinestones...and I had already told him I was a bride the next day. Then upon payment, I asked if a card was ok. He asked if I could pay by check. I didnt have a check (who does???) or cash and handed my card over. He huffed and puffed over running my card. He lost 50% of my cash tip I was planning on giving him right there. I almost cried afterwards. I just wanted a good nails experience with my maids and it went downhill. They all had a great time...and another bridal party came in afterwards with champagne and seemed to be doing well. Just a disappointing experience for me.

Worst pedicure Ive had in a very long time, the man doing it never put lotion on my feet and massaged them, when asked him about it he just laughed. Only been a few hours and the paint is coming off.

I am very pleased with their service provided. The staff is very friendly and they did a very good job with mani- pedi. Their prices are reasonable and I did not have to wait a minute. I was finally able to do mani-pedi at the same time. I recommend this place to others and I will definitely be a regular at this place.

New owner and since has gone downhill. I had to have my toes repainted and not to mention it took forever. Out of the way and not too busy but youll only get an average pedi/mani.

Had a fabulous manicure along with pleasant conversation with Anh today:) will definitely be back. Very clean salon, they really care about their clients.

The manager told me to sit down in his booth while he proceeded to go thru his mail. He was rough, and insisted that I needed gel nail polish but left out the part that its $10 extra

They said they could take our 3 granddaughters at 10:30. They ran 1 hour late. Needed to skip out to make Dr. appointment. Kids did like nails. I was very frustrated.

Had appointments; came in and no one greeted us; waited 25 minutes with no communication; told them we had appointments; she said okay; walked out; no one cared; will never go here again and will not recommend to anyone

Some is doing good most is not if you watching them they are not cleaning good for your pedi and manicure..most of them not go to school and doesnt have a license to work on customer...and behind the back they are so mean..for real they are not nice bad attitude..
