Picked up our rental yesterday to travel 1200 miles north just to get a flat tire because BUDGET did NOT inspect the truck and apparently the person before us put a patch on the passenger side tire and BUDGET did not change it before it was given to us. We purchased roadside assistance they were extremely rude and could not give us an ETA for over an hour not only that but their was 17 other trucks BROKEN DOWN in the same area as us!!! Called customer service and the man would not tell me his name and proceeded to tell me how I was in the wrong and then HUNG UP ON ME!!!!!!!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THEM.Edit to add the actual roadside guy who came to help was extremely nice and very helpful (he does not work for budget he works for a separate company)

Great prices, nice staff and no extra fees what you pay is what you pay unless you need extra days but they always are very reasonable. I definitely recommend 100%.

To say my rental experience was a disaster would be an understatement.When I picked the truck up, the attendant informed me that I would have to drive over to a storage shed miles away to pick up the furniture pads I had requested because weve had a busy week and weve run out. When I replied that I had made this reservation over two weeks prior so there would be adequate time to avoid problems like this, the reply was, Im sorry sir - I dont do the reservations - I only handle the paperwork.Then the attendant sent me to the wrong truck because of his unclear directions. I finally found MY truck after walking to the furthest point in the parking lot. And then I discovered Budgets next gift to me: a filthy windshield covered with bug guts. Wow. Thanks Budget! You charge me over a thousand bucks for your truck and you cant take the time to wash the windshield?I left Budget under unexpected pressure and stress that they created because we had movers scheduled to meet us in 15 minutes, but now I had to find the storage shed in an area I was completely unfamiliar with so I could pick up the furniture pads the Budget rental schedulers were too inept to provide.After I found the storage shed, I was in for one more surprise from Budget: the hand dolly I had paid for was not in the back of the truck! Fortunately for me, the owner of the storage shed gave me one of his and told me not to worry about it as he would work out the compensation with with Budget.When I finally got back to our home, the movers had been waiting for me for 30 minutes.But not only did this delay inconvenience the movers, there was also a cascading effect that complicated our afternoon: we were forced to make an unanticipated 30-mile trip in rush hour traffic to return cable TV components before the store closed. This trip would have been unnecessary had the movers been able to start on time. And because of the extra trip to the cable TV office and back, we left much later, in the dark, and then had to negotiate a downpour on I-75 that we would have avoided altogether had we left at the original time we had planned.We finally arrived at our motel at 1:30 AM rather than 11:00 PM, which we had anticipated. You can imagine how utterly exhausted and frayed we were.All of this due to Budgets complete ineptness and glaring incompetence.I will never use Budget Truck Rental again unless they issue an apology and a sizable refund for the stress and inconvenience THEY caused us due to their incompetence, ineptness, and failure to provide a clean, properly prepared truck even though they had over two weeks to fulfill the terms of the rental agreement.I only wish I could give them ZERO stars as they dont even deserve the ONE I am forced to choose for this review.

Fantastic experience. I made some last minute changes and everything went off without a hitch (b/c I wasnt towing... HA!) Both the desk representative and the truck guy were specific and clear about how to handle the truck and what my responsibilities were upon return. Its so common to be nickel and dimed at check-out so I was thrilled that there were ZERO surprises. I hope to never have to move again, so I dont plan to use the truck service but I would ABSOLUTELY suggest Budget Bradenton to anybody moving! You guys rocked!

Should fully e plain policies before making agreement. If a bedit card Can not be used as credit card.

Its a good place to get a rental car or truck

Terrible experience. I reserved a truck a week in advance and when I got there the day I needed to move they said they have no trucks available and to call another company.

Had my reservation in for weeks, got a confirmation email stating my truck would be ready, arrive today and NO Truck!! Not the first time this has happened. Sorry to say, well use another company for our business solutions. Not happy!

Good customer service and very accommodating.

By far the worst customer service. When asked for the representatives name, he said they dont give out names because of security reasons, but then gave me a business card with another representatives full name. Why did he lie? Probably to save his reputation. Stay clear of Rick ( older gent with glasses), hes awful and disrespectful to women.
