My husband and I had full panel blood work there yesterday. This location is spotless. The staff was very professional and well mannered. We booked our appointments on line. It was perfect service. Highly recommend

I would give a zero if i could. They dont care about people. They dont honor appointments. They send home people who need help. Also they offer no alternatives or apologies to rectify any situation. Garbage people. I cant stress that enough. Dont come here!!!

Today I wasted an hour of my time with this office. After scheduling, confirming an appointment, and checking in, I explained to the front desk person that, although my order from the doctor showed 10 tests, I only needed 1 of them done. (The other 9 were already in process at another lab.) She told me that she couldnt do the one test, I had to do all of them. Why? Because if the doctor expects 10 results and she only gets 1, I could get in trouble. Is this how this woman, in mid-career, views herself, and/or the job views her? Is there no thought about serving the customer? I couldnt dissuade her, even though I know Ive had only some tests off other orders completed at other labs. I hurried home and called my regular lab in Chicago, where I spend summers. And they confirmed theyll have no problem doing the single test off of that order. #poor service.

Walked in no wait and the receptionist was very pleasant. However the computer and tools the company gives her to work with need to be upgraded.

Im never one to write a review at all even when it comes to bad service but today was not the day to ignore it. I had arrived at 3:16 due to being unable to make it because of work and the front desk lady was not friendly at all i tried to be but she kept mentioning how i needed to be there before 3 even though i persistently and nicely kept apologizing because im never one to be late but she did not bother to be nice about it and was rough and stuck it in and moved around and did not seem to say a word through it all besides how i needed to be there earlier. She wrapped the bandage incorrectly which was so tight and the cotton part was falling off arm by the time i got home and i still feel the pain of it aching the way she stuck it in. I simply never experienced this before or this pain with any other office and it seems that its a constant problem with the previous reviews.(Updated) my vein has been sore and bruised which was due to a blown vein due to fishing and has caused discomfort.

Great people, great services. Mo is the best!! I go here every week for almost a year now. No complaints, ever!

The only reason I give them them one star is because their fast and the phlebotomist was nice. The ladies at the front desk, especially the old lady, are rude. I was trying to understand what they were saying with the masks and the glass at the counter, when I told her that I couldn’t hear she rolled her eyes at yelled at me. After that, she said that she couldn’t find the lab order that my doctor sent, and he sent it a week before. Is the same every time, they also were really rude with a sir that forgot his hearing aid.

Was able to get an appointment on short notice for some lab work for a physical. Minimal wait, in and out very quickly.

Not even one star place is so rude the employees are very nasty to you I was being nice and friendly to one in particular no help and did not talk to me when I said something nice to her I don’t think I will ever go back to this location unless if I have to I chose it because it was closest to me but I think I will drive the extra 5 more miles to go to a different location. And the bathroom was really disgusting and the pee cups where not covered left opened and the cups over flown so nasty.

My vampire Missy was awesome. A painless stick, and a quick blood draw, all done with humor and class. Most pleasant bleeding Ive ever had!

Terrible customer service. The receptionist was curt and demanded paperwork after I ordered an antibodies test online. Although I had an appointment booked, I walked away without my test. She wasn’t able to explain what the problem was AND she wasn’t wearing a mask. Book elsewhere if you want professional service.

Will Not Use This Lab Again.A very mixed experience.I went to LabCorp because the lab order for my annual physical blood work was a LabCorp form provided by my doctor. I went to their web site and found the nearest location to me, which is the one on Cortez Rd W in Bradenton.Booking an appointment online was easy and fast. At the location there is an automated check-in kiosk which is easy and convenient to use. Within a minute or two of the automated check-in the receptionist called me to the window to take my form, and asked me to be seated until the phlebotomist was free to draw blood. The seats were spaced apart as you would expect during this pandemic. Up to that point everything was just fine.However, even though we are in the 3rd wave of the COVID pandemic, they allowed a 3-person family (grandmother, mother, and young child) to remain in the waiting area unmasked. The mother was jabbering loudly on her cell phone while her unsupervised little boy ran from one end of the room to the other yelling and presumably spreading his germs to us other waiting patients. Even though the Wear a Mask signs were prominently displayed, the reception staff said nothing to these people.When I was called for my blood work the phlebotomist could not have been more competent. She was excellent! The blood draw took only a few seconds and I got the heck out of there, leaving that inconsiderate family to continue contaminating the waiting area for other patients.I will ask my doctor to use Quest or another lab for future tests. I will certainly not return to LabCorp.

My 4 year old sons Doctor requested lab work. This then created the need to bring what has been my most difficult child to raise. The look on the receptionist face said it all as we literally drag this kid in kicking and screaming get off me! They gave us an immediate entrance to the back passing the many now chuckling patrons waiting patiently. The nurse who took his blood even helped assist in trying to restrain my son while giving the shot. True professionals creating a friendly atmosphere.

Best time to go is 8am. It Went by quickly with a lot of people there. Dora took my blood very nice and it didn’t hurt at all. The Lady at front desk could be nicer to patients. Kind of bossy

She cut my arm when she pulled the needle out. 1 1/2 inch scratch down my arm. Didnt say a word to me. Slapped a band-aid on it and shooed me out. I get that your busy and overwhelmed. Common courtesy goes a long way though.

If there was a zero I would give a zero for the one in Ellenton. On the 22nd of May I had a covid test done and my son dropped it off at the lab for me. The attendant asked him what was the sample and he said its a covid test. The attendant then said to him so they are sending you black people to finish kill the rest of us I called the lab and didnt get anywhere so i called the 800 number. They said they would get back with me but no one did I called again on May 28th and still no one has contacted me yet. I will be posting this everywhere every day until someone rrom their department call me. All i wanted was for them to acknowledge that their representative did something wrong.

Do not go here! Had a set appointment through the website and had Everything verified and was still denied because they do not have the time. Staff was beyond rude and unwilling to help. Huge waste of time

Today April 3rd, my veteran father trying to better his life, and attempting to come out of an addiction lifestyle was referred to this place to get testing for his blood. An older white woman with black hair around 65, disgruntled, disrespected my father and treated him as if he was not a person. Told him he shouldnt be in the office if he couldnt pee to a certain line in a cup, not knowing he was going to be taking a urinalysis. He told them he would do it, but that he didnt know if he would be able to do it to the line. She told him that he shouldnt even be there. He was skipped numerous occasions. He patiently waited and upon looking to see his referral was from PAR inc, immediately her attitude switched from a normal bed side manner to rude and snippy. He felt completely disrespected. Hes been through a lot and should not have to explain anything to this woman about the struggles he has had to deal with in order to contribute to this nation’s freedom. We will never come to this establishment again except to speak with and complain to someone who has some authority over the circus that is this facility. They attempted to stick the needle in his arm a total of 9 times and though his veins are tough, the amount of times they stuck him, and the bed side manner were unbelievable. Never in all his addiction have his arms looked so torn up. She had treated him wrong because of his past. This woman lacks compassion and gives nurses a bad name. She should be in jail for mal practice.

Most weekdays have a long walk in wait so get there early or try and have an appointment. The last few times the receptionist was short with me but they also are prepping the tests and completing multiple tasks, not sure if this happens to be due to short staff. Phlebotomist is good, always a pleasant experience and never any bruising.

Been there a few times and always short tempard, and kinda rude. I have been going elsewhere of late. All tought the one located off University and 301 isnt too bad, probably the better in the area..

I am in the lobby now and the lady with a strong Boston accent is so extremely rude!! She’s huffing and puffing and swinging doors because a gentleman stated he needs his labs today! It’s 2:50 pm they are open until 3:30 this lady obviously hates her job, people, and should never work in healthcare let alone customer service!!! I will demand from here on out I only go to quest diagnostics they know how to treat people kindly and respectfully!!

Im 75yr old and have all ways got top rate service at LabCorpWhen they are busy they apologize that theyre running late. They are so nice you dont mind waiting.

Came to LabCorp to do a simple procedure that shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes. They aren’t busy, there isn’t any line, yet I’ve been here waiting for over an hour. They are letting people with no appointment skip the line. If you come to LabCorp, make sure your entire week is free because who knows how long you’ll be here.

If I was able to give this place a 0 star I would the front desk lady was the rudest most nasty person I have ever met she was screaming at everyone there was 4 seats open we sat down and she told my sister that she had to go wait outside because there where no seats if you send me outside I would expect for you to call me when you needed me not at all she just called her name and asked for paperwork and told us ok have a seat will a whole attitude I seen on the reviews that it’s not only today that she always had this attitude with people if you can avoid this place please do

UPDATED!!(Check below)This location is very busy. Come at 7am, whether you schedule an appointment or not. The lady here (black hair to her shoulders) is very efficient and moves people along quickly and thoroughly. Dont expect a 5star hotel type of customer service because she focuses on the tasks at hand to move people along.I came for a Glucose Tolerance test, which resulted in my blood needing drawn a total of 4 times. She is very skilled at locating the vein without you even feeling the needle pierce the skin. Im very happy with my experience at this location.UPDATE: The 4th time they needed to draw blood, it was done by the lady with long black hair and glasses. That was painful, and hurt more once she took the needle out. If you need blood drawn see if you can request the other lady.UPDATE 2: I went home and took a nap, woke up to see a decnt size bruise and a blood blister (its raised from my skin). Honestly not surprised since it hurt so bad when the last lady drew my blood. Im adding a picture. Dont let the lady with long black hair near your veins.

Place was DIRTY. They treated my 90 year old mother abruptly, to put it mildly. After going to the bathroom the nurse got her out of the bathroom and wouldn’t let her wash her hands, telling her there wasn’t time for that. See my mom was the last of the day and the nurse wanted to leave. I will find another place.

My nurse send over details of my lab work that needed to be done. I made the appointment and she tried to tell me that there was no lab work there for me. Was sent on my way with a new appointment. They were overwhelmed, but the fact that other office closed, they got all their patients too!

The receptionist has such a rude attitude if you don’t like your job and dealing with people , i suggest you quit and go find another job! She’s very disrespectful I had my appointment at 8:15 for my glucose tolerance test and she said I was even late to my appointment when in fact I was there in time but I had to check myself and my daughter in! I will NEVER EVER be coming back to that place again !!

The lady at the front desk is very snippie. I and a few other pregnant ladies have come in at 8 am to take our glucose test. We were told to come back at a later date at 7: 00 am. So I came back at 7: 00 am a different day. While waiting the three hours I over heard and witnessed the lady at the front desk, Morrie, take another pregnant woman at 9: 00 am for a glucose test! This is unfair and people should not be treated differently for any reason, especially when they are here for the same service. Also, not to mention she just jabs you with the needle while giving blood! This is truly the worst experience I have ever had at a LabCorp. Something must be done.
