Really frustrating to sit there and over an hour of time wasted. When I walked in I told the guy we were there to buy the new iPhone 13. It would of been so easy to say we don’t have any in stock right now, they are back ordered till Nov 9th or 11th. Okay I understand I wouldn’t of wasted an hour.

This has to be the worst internet company in the universe. You can not get an agent only a stupid machine programmed to never your questions or give you a live agent. If you can not speak to an agent that tells you a lot about the companies reputation. How can you sell service and then ignore your customers and not let them be able to speak to an agent. Did not solve my xfinity problem. Very disappointed. Gave me some resolution that was totally garbage. Visiting there was a waste of my time. Worse yet was the 800 number they give you to call. They dont understand English nor do they speak English you can understand.

Customer service lady wasnt very accommodating. She was signing customers in and having them to wait. Customers were leaving. A young male rep came to relive her to take a break and she tried to stay. After she left the young man started to wait on customers as they came in and he also included the waiting customers, thank goodness. I dont remember his name, but it started with an L.

Horrible is an understatement. Comcast goes out of their way to NOT provide basic customer service. Make it impossible to get to a live human. Make it equally impossible to find a store, no direct numbers to contact stores even to try and get parts and trouble shoot yourself since you cant get a service call for over a week. Also, when they provide an address to a strore you drive 45 minutes to find it has moved. Doesnt say where to. Call back through the 800 number and they cant answer that either. they deserve to be sued out of business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pleasantly surprised! The wait time was almost nothing...exchanged my router immediately and waited about 2 minutes for additional help on my account. Everyone was friendly and professional.

Wow! This was the worst experience ever !! 2 hours waisted!! The person that we (my husband and I) talked to couldn’t even tell us why they were charging us more on our monthly bill. It was our second time for the same reason, the first time the lady said everything was fixed but noooo they overcharged again. We are definitely changing to another provider don’t want anything to do with XFINITY again.

I’m genuinely grateful and surprised Xfinity turned a new leaf. This company has earned my business. I once had a poor review of Comcast at a different location and time. I was hesitant and not expecting anything good to happen. The service I received was exemplary and far exceeded my expectations. The “take it or leave it” mentality is gone. Fremi forgive me I know that’s not how it spelled. Was wonderful. Thank you so much for all you help!

This store is completely closed down and is a empty building! I called comcast last evening and was given this address. The people manning the phones dont even know this store is closed! So I called back today 7/22/21 and apparently the only one open is in Venice or Pt Charlotte!

Horrible store. They do the standard tech company thing with a bunch of people standing at the front of the store checking you in, but next to no one actually helping customers/fielding appointments. I just needed to get a new wireless router (to replace the dud they originally gave us), but it of course took an hour of my time to wait and talk to a “specialist” for a one minute interaction. Xfinity, please stop trying to be Apple and just provide your service.

I dont think this company deserve even a 1 star. i been dealing with them for the last two months since i moved out the apartment and disconnected the service. i used the internet service for the entire year of the contract and someone somehow changed my contract without my permission. i been to the store 3 times with promises that they will help me. No luck, if you call xfinity they never help. its really depressing how a company like xfinity dont care about their customers. Never again

Was told On phone they could ship a new modem to my home but without a battery backup. or I could take the old modem into an xfinity store and they would give me a new modem with a new battery.That was not true. Again I was misled by xfinity.

I honestly was dreading coming into the store to switch out my cable box. I figured lines would be long, employees would be slow, but I was pleasantly surprised at my experience. The weight was quite minimal, and the customer service was absolutely excellent. The employee helping me was very friendly, kind, and more than willing to help!

I never will call Comcast again period after days of calling and wrestling with people on the phone and doing the same thing over and over and this endless routine that had me ready to rip all of the hair out of my head I decided to just go to the Xfinity store and this turned out to be the best decision I made. I walked in explained that I needed to see someone after about 12 seconds a customer service rep came over to me I explained my experience on the phone and the fact that I am disabled in my frustration she smiled took me by the arm and said Im going to go fix everything for you right now and Ill have you out of here in no time. I wish I had wrote down her name because she lived right up to her word and she really showed exceptional customer service as well as just genuine kindness. My entire experience was excellent the store was clean there were plenty of places to sit down there was a kiosk if you wanted to pay your bill there there was handicap parking right in front of the store and as I said I did not even wait more than a few seconds before I received the help I got. I have not usually given stores like this 5 stars but the exceptional customer service care I received truly warrants the extra star and I would definitely say to anyone who has any issues at all dont waste your time calling their stupid telephone number for assistance go to the store and let somebody there help you. All in all I was very very pleased with my experience and wish again I had wrote down the young womans name who really did a marvelous job.

This store should be ashamed. Would not let me in the store without a mask even though I’m vaccinated. It was 97 degrees out and they made me stand outside like an animal in trouble. DeSantis dropped mandate a long time ago. And it’s too hot for this shameful treatment of customers. I’m canceling my service. Shame on you.

Xfinity added a $10 charge to my cable /internet bill. Which is through my landlord. When I signed up. Which i had to waste my time to do in person. I was very clear that i didnt want additional services. A few weeks later i get a bill for $10.00. which nobody can explain to me on the phone. After 3 phone calls and zero help. I decided to go to the local store where it was explained to me what the charges were for but not why or how they were there. Then i was told that o had to set up an online account with Xfinity to have the charges removed. I asked repeatedly why I had to jump through all of these hoops to get their mistake corrected. To which the smarmy little weasel behind the plexiglass responded. Oh and thats too hard for you needless to say. Ieft without my issue boring resolved. I give the customer service one star but only because negative stars are not an option.

OMG—Xfinity—-words cannot express how very very terrible customer service is for this company. The store on University thought they straightened everything out but trust me, it is a mess. I have 2 acts, the one in FL new. They cannot keep accounts straight. I keep getting late fees & threats to stop service for non-payment. I keep making payments with a different credit card & account # but they pay no attention & apply to old different account that’s had auto payment for 6 yrs w different credit card. Tell me, am I the first person who has ever had 2 accounts & in different states?????Eileen

Cancelled service on 6/7/21, would not cancell service because we had thrown away the bills with account number on them, they had the address, phone number, social security number and name on account, but still would not cancell, had new service from another provider, told they would not be paid from the 7th toward, Xfinity charges too much for service, and every month the bill is different, would not recommend.

Checkin was chaotic. None of the customers had much faith that they were in a line or on a list or that staff knew who to call next. Once I got called, the agent was friendly and fast (enough). Spectrum does a much better job of this.

Wouldnt offer anything exceptional after they couldnt resolve our issue. You would think that maybe if we knew anything more than they couldnt find out why the payment for the phone that should have been shipped over two weeks ago didnt go through, that there shouldve have been another resolution to the issue like purchasing a phone and setting it up today. Im not a new customer and I have xfinity all up in my house. Why couldnt I get a new phone and my existing contract transferred over? ... Maybe the manager on duty was just too young and green

Anyone thinking of signing up with xfinity in Sarasota needs to rethink that decision.We moved into Sarasota 6 weeks ago only to find out that they are the only option, other than no internet, which frankly, is looking like a better option.In 6 weeks, we have had a technician at our house 5 times, and still, the internet drops off 5-6 times a day.They have no clue why.My wife and I both work from home and have virtual meetings daily. We have to start off each meeting apologizing that we are likely going to drop the connection, and 75% of the time, we do.We have started experimenting using our phones as a hot spot and its much more reliable.We have another technician coming out, yet again, on Wednesday, and by Friday, I expect to be ripping their POS equipment and wiring out of our house.Fiber optic is moving through Sarasota and getting close to us, Xfinity has no hope in Sarasota once fiber optic is available everywhere.Until then, hot spot it is.

We just moved here from IL and wanted to sign up for new internet service. Unfortunately for whatever reason Xfinity does not reach out to where we live (10 minutes down the street) doesn’t make any sense and disappointed. HOWEVER the guy we talked to in the store was so nice and helpful about everything and recommended a service in our area. I really liked the store and the customer service so all 3 stars are to that. 0 stars to the fact that they can’t reach us 10 minutes down the road.

I chose to go to this location to set up my XFINITY mobile cell phone. The process was much easier than going online or call like the support line. Overall my experience was quite positive and very efficient requiring only 30 minutes.

Existing mobile customers have to go to store to trade in phones, but there is no info online about what phones they have in stock. Plus they dont have a store phone number to call. So, have to go to store to see what options are available. Kudos to Xfinity for taking us back in time 100 years ago to experience what shopping was like then.

Worst costumer service ever. I believe Xfinity employees are trained to lie to bring up your bill. They are not friendly. I paid an extra $5 monthly to not be in a contract for cable. I was assured my monthly internet bill would not be raised. It went from 64.98 to over $165. When I called all I get is “I totally understand Miss Lisa but that isn’t available anymore”. They do understand what happened. They understand I was lied to. They understand I lost my job due to COVID... they understand my frustration but they can’t put my bill or service where it was just 2 months ago. There are other internet providers available ... don’t let them steal your money.

Staff dont know what theyre doing. Was over charged on 2 different services. 5 phone calls/2 months later in person today and Im told its now in the process of being returned. The other one for the HD I paid for that took a month to get, but paid for 2 months they cant refund. Yup.. You pay for their screw up.

Typical of tech stores, they could care less if you get junk equipment (x3!) or have unreliable service. We returned our secondary box and will be exploring full streaming for entertainment and another provider for high-speed internet. Comcast/xfinity is a waste of money. Cant wait to cut that cable!

2019-01 Limited parking. Clean restroom . Echo WAY too bad in the main room. Considering the vast majority of clientele are older it is very hard to hear in the room with many TVs, phones and people adding to the noise level. To add more they just cranked up a bluetooth speaker. Everyone is having trouble hearing their name when called. Some mad from missing their spot in line. There should be a Take A Number with a display of your wait time. The counter has few places to sit and many folks are having dificulty standing. The youthful workers are speaking too fast and mumbling for the older clients. No person to assist with walkup issues...a kiosk must be used. So many obvious service issues that are easy to fix. Last visit here the worker entered my device as owned instead of rented and it took 2 days to get the modem activated. No attention to details.

Attempted to resolve problem whereby COMCAST/xfinity continued to charge my account after it had been canceled and we moved. Nice people here, but no ability to resolve issue. Net result - very bad taste after this experience. Two phone calls later and COMCAST wants to bill me for discontinued service in the amount of $119.02. Unfortunately this is one of the areas in which we are dealing with a monopoly. What happened to the customer is always right?

4 employees working but just one to take care of customers, the others are waking around, and putting old equipment in the storage shelves and I forgot; one additional cleaning person who comes to clean the desk after each customer - yeap, waiting is guaranteed even if there is no one much customers :( so sad :( :( :(

They took my name because sign in was not working. All of the screens in the entire store said Somethings not quite right, make sure cable connections are tightly secured, unplug from electrical outlet, wait 10 secondsThey are way understaffed. I waited a half hour and never got waited on. I checked and they said my name was not on the list. This is the world of Comcast, it doesnt get better when you have the service. You can see that they dont respond here. They dont care, and they dont care when you are a customer.

Poor service, and when you have trouble with your service you will have to wait for hours to talk to a representative. Comcast has been known for cutting back on people for customer service and going to machines that can NOT help. You will be very frustrated with their service and their very bad customer support.

I changed my boxes. The new boxes are $5 a piece and you get on demand, and you can watch things you taped in the bedroom for instance. Walked right in and changed them within minutes. And I did not know that they have cell phones and tablets now on Comcast. What a surprise. Very good recommend store highly

Although its quite a distance from my house, the Xfinity store on University Parkway has always been very efficient about getting me what I need and taking care of any issues I have. I highly recommend the staff there and theyre all very kind and willing to do what they can to make things right for you.

Be prepared to wait 30 minutes OR you can set up an appointment ahead of time so you wont have to wait!! That being said, I went to this store to without an appointment, to trade in old cable equipment and upgrade my service. I did have to wait 30 minutes because there were 14 people in front of me, but the time actually went by pretty quickly considering how few customers understand the whole cable TV and Internet Thing! The service reps have much more patience then I would ever have, particularly when about every 5th person in is a diva that doesnt believe they have to wait like everyone else. Once it was my turn, the customer service rep could not have been nicer and was extremely capable.

I am rating Xfinity. I am trying to retrieve my backup battery from the Manatee office in Florida. There is no direct number to contact them and amazingly none of the Comcast operators have a direct number. No matter the number you get on line, it routes back to their call center which is at this point useless. How inefficient and ridiculous is that!! If I could give a quarter star they would have earned it!!

This place does not know who is doing what. I returned equipment & that was ok. But, they send me the wrong equipment, I returned it after they stand me up 3x. Thats right never showed up for the connection service. I gave up and cancelled. It just so happens that the day I cancelled was the 1st day of the billing period. They were insisting I had to pay that bill. I refused due to their various no shows, wrong equipment and service I never used. If I could give them a zero I would. I can only imagine all of the folks they succeeded in ripping off. Shame on them 👀.

Went to drop off old equipment and pick up new, for a new account. comcast still shipped new equipment twice, service did not work for 2 weeks. The 2nd technician replaced the main box with 3 other boxes before one worked and was stable.
