I took my daughter to do this and we had an amazing time! I got to ride stella and my daughter got to ride Stellas son uni well behaved horses 🐎 love them they were awesome! Misty 2 was our guide she was fantastic as well very nice and entertaining ! I definitely recommend for you to go you wont regret it! And dont forget to bring the carrots the horses love them!

I had the most amazing time riding with Cponies! I was worried that they wouldn’t have space since we only were able to schedule a few days ahead, I am so happy there was availability at such a late notice. It was the highlight of my trip. Our guide Misty #2 was just the sweetest. She let me and my dad stand up on the horses which was so much fun! Definitely go here if you have a chance!!!!!!

Our guides were amazing! We had such a fun time, it was an experience like nothing else! These horses are so calm and beautiful. My horses name was Gypsy and she has such a spunky personality! I am already planning to go again and bring my sister with me!!

Very first time swimming with horses but not riding one! Had the up most amazing and fun time for my birthday!! I’m so excited to come back and it is great the mission that the owner has made for herself. Rescue Gypsy Drum horses from terrible conditions/ kill pens. An amazing adventure...the horses are specially trained horses and provide a unique horseback riding experience.The trainers explain the riding and how to reign the horses after each horse selection for specific rider is made and then once mounted the trainer leads the group in a single file line into the water. You will get wet!The horses actually swim, which is quite thrilling, and the best part of the ride is if you were to fall off (you wont), you fall in the water instead of on the hard ground.Definitely something to put on your bucket list!

Our Cponies adventure was incredible and somehow exceeded our expectations! These beautiful horses loved venturing us into the water as much as we enjoyed the ride. My daughter got to experience this truly amazing ride and I’m pretty sure it’s been the best part of our vacation for her! The horses are very well taken care of and obviously very loved. A great experience! A nice stroll through the water on your horse before they go for a little swim. Dont worry if youre a beginner. They will show you the ropes (literally). Bring some carrots to tip the horses after the ride. I took my 79 year old mother and she LOVED it. Highly recommend.

I cant rave about this once in a lifetime experience enough. They were even able to get me standing on a horse by the end of the adventure! Mercedes was a great guide and made you feel immediately comfortable on the horse and was well informed on the background and all the good they do for their horses who have all been rescued. So not only is it a great experience, but you are also helping the horses. Each horse was beautiful and of course had unique/fun personalities. I cannot wait to venture back and thank you again for the magnificent time!

We came to Cponies thinking it was a quick ride on a horse. Nooooooo! Let me tell you! The girls are AMAZING! From start to finish they are so knowledgeable and sweet. The horses are extremely gentle and so well trained. WOW!! We celebrated my granddaughters 10th birthday going on the sunset ride. Its an incredible experience of a lifetime!! We rode on a conventional saddle for a short stroll at waters edge and then bare back thigh high in the water as the sun was setting. You can choose to participate in some amazing activities. I highly recommend this unique adventure especially if you enjoy getting up close and personal with a large gentle sentient being. The guides are wonderful keeping everyone comfortable and safe. Amazing experience, unforgettable fun, incredible humanity! This ride was part of the birthday present to a great anniversary of my mom. She was riding a horse first time in her life and both of us were swimming with the horses of course first time in our lives. During the small stop in the middle of the bay our amazing guide Alex told us the story of survival of all our horses, all rescued and brought back to enjoying life. I can highly recommended this attraction (we did it in Bradenton on Manatee street passing through the bay) to probably all ages from 7 to 100! Super safe, super comfortable. Great and knowledgeable guides. Most of the money you pay for this attraction are spent on rescuing other beautiful Gypsy Horses and taking care of already the saved ones.

The love and compassion these women have for their horses and joy they find in bringing the general public into their special world is a rare find. Yes, I proposed to my girlfriend (now fiancée lol) while we did this ride. The staff was phenomenal in helping me set this up and although I was super nervous, it was SPECTACULAR!!! Besides the proposal part, which was at the end, the entire C Ponies adventure was great. I highly recommend it to everyone. Mya was our guide in the water for the ponies, and she was great. She definitely eased my fiancées nerves while she was on the pony in the water. The entire staff was truly welcoming and made this experience great for everyone. I know for a fact that everyone in our group loved it . Whenever we return to Sarasota, we are going back for a ride with C Ponies.

Although the horses were lovely, I paid $25 cash to have a ton of photos of 7 people I didn‘t know. There were no clear photos of me. When I tried to bring this to their attention, I was ignored. Very unprofessional. There is another group there called Florida Horses that appears to have more on the ball, and more bang for the buck than this greedy company. I won’t be using C Ponies again.

I wanted to do something different this year for my anniversary so we chose a the sunset ride. Very neat experience and I would totally recommend this. A couple even got engaged on our ride!

I am not one to leave reviews. But this experience calls for a review. This was fun and exciting experience. Mercedes, was just an amazing tour guide and experienced on how to train a newbie. Wife and I had a blast. Our horses were Jewels and Moana. Jewels likes to make bubbles under water. I truly recommend this for anyone that is looking to have a different experience and break the monotony. Even if you live locally.

We were able to have a great time. It has been many many years since I had been on a horse. Definitely the first time being on a horse in the ocean. Without a doubt a fun and exciting experience while being relaxing at the same time. Misty #2 was fantastic!!! Highly recommend Misty #2 and the horses at C Ponies.

C Ponies is truly a once in a lifetime experience - It doesn’t matter how little or much experience you have riding, these horses are truly magical!! There rescue stories touch your heart and you can feel their beautiful energy and happiness as they take you through the bay! They are large but very docile with the riders, the crew works hard to give you a beautiful rose with some history and a little humor and fun!! I highly recommend bringing cash for tip and the photo package - it is well worth the small price - we got over 150 pictures on our journey - memories that will last a lifetime!!! We will definitely do this again and recommend it to friends and family! Please tip your guide, while they say it is optional they pool & split all their tips with the whole crew including farm hands back home, they are amazing and hard working people! We were so impressed with the care of the horses and the commitment of the crew! We have $15 per rider for tip and purchased the photo package - it is currently at $25 - like I said we got over 150 pics - great quality and so worth it and they do individual poses of you with horse and family pics - just amazing!! Also don’t forget CARROTS!!! They love them and you can feed your horse and leave some for others before the ride - just so much fun!! The price is amazing for what you get!!!! They also have little souvenirs like t shirts, scarves, visors, etc - so if you like that, please bring cash - it goes straight to the horses and helps the farm!!! Absolutely a MUST DO!!!! 5 millions stars!!!!!!

What a perfect day!My husband surprised me with the one thing I’ve always wanted to do! Didn’t know we were actually going to swim with them!!Ambra was our guide this afternoon, so incredibly sweet and made us both feel super comfortable for the ride. I seriously can’t recommend this enough, even if I did get kicked by the horse my husband was riding. Totally our faults for being too close when we got to let them “take off” and swim farther in deeper water. All is well!! Stella was the sweetest horse!Seriously the best surprise he could have given my for our anniversary trip! I asked him, “if I pay and book the reservation tomorrow, can we come back?!?”.I would drive from Chattanooga, TN to do this every year if we could!

I love the Cause, its my favorite fishing spot in the area lately. Its definitely NOT for anyone who isnt athletic or doesnt have good balance. I go under the bridge to fish and the rocks that you MUST venture across to get to the spot. Youll know your there when you see the cool artwork that someone did under it and thats the X I always on the east side late every Friday and Saturday night HEADLAMPS or hi powered flashlights are a necessity... I would not attempt without... See ya there😎

Had a wonderful time. Our guide Alexa was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I’m recovering from a broken ankle and torn tendon and she took extra time to make sure I could get on and off the horse, Jewels without pain or discomfort. She made me feel safe and insured I had a good time. Thank you Alexa! All the horses are rescues and seem to be very well taken care of. I would highly recommend this activity for anyone that wants to have a good time and cool off on a hot day.

I was in Bradenton, FL for a week and was looking for things to fill up my time when i found horseback riding on the beach. Then i found C Ponies! The breed of horses they use for this ride and the stories they shared about the horses made the ride that much better. They are rescue horses and to learn where they started compared to where their health is now is absolutely amazing. Misty was an amazing guide through the water and she made it that much more exciting! This experience was one i will never forget! This is a must for anyone who likes horses and is in the southern Florida area! I will be riding with C Ponies again in the future!

We had the absolute best time at CPonies! Our guide, Mercedes, was very friendly and knowledgeable. I rode Minnow, my husband rode Jewel. The horses have lovely temperaments. The horses are also clearly happy, well cared for and showed no signs of not wanting to work. The fact this group rehabs and gives new lives to horses that were neglected and/or abused is awesome. We were happy with our experience from start to finish.

Great experience. Our guide was great, I believe Mya was her name. A little humor with education about the horses and rescue program. We did the picture package and I think for keeping the horses and guests safe while snapping pictures they were great. The horses seem loved and got rest in between our swims. I rode Stella and she was amazing. Make sure to take some cash and tip your guide. They deserve it.

This was a very fun and interesting experience. Ive ridden horses before, and I have gone swimming in the ocean before, but Ive never ridden swimming horses before! I took my 15-year-old daughter as a surprise, and she really enjoyed it too. We ended up with lots of good pictures, and had an experience we will never forget. The guides were very kind and patient, and the horses were gentle and mellow. I rode Marina, a gorgeous mare with one crystal blue eye and one brown eye (like a husky dog- no, shes not blind). My daughter rode Pearl. The horses are clearly well cared for, healthy, calm and content. We fed them carrots (bring your own) before and after the swim. The guide took lots of pictures of different parts of the excursion, such as the beginning of the ride, actual swimming, and our photo shoot standing on top of the horses backs. Nobody lost their balance and fell while horse surfing on top of the horse (I almost did), but if anyone had, we would have safely landed in the water and it would have made a great addition to the photos! Too costly for me to do on a regular basis (base cost plus optional photo package - a must have - and optional tip for the staff, which we also did, plus optional carrots -we did bring) but we are certainly glad we got to experience it. Its one of those cool bucket list things you should add to your list to experience at least once. Dont be alarmed if your horse makes funny mule noises while swimming. This is normal. They also sometimes submerge their heads to eat seaweed or just to blow bubbles. My horse kept putting her head under water whole walking back out at the end, just to repeatedly blow bubbles in the water. It was entertaining.

Came to the area on a honeymoon and we thought it would be fun. Awesome way to spend some of the day and am awesome cause. The ride is more than just the ride, if you can id say give it a go. We rode with Misty 2 who was awesome

We had a great time swimming with the Cponies, very relaxing and even saw dolphins, great fun for kids, my son had a blast and he is a beginner rider. Highly recommend even if your an advanced rider to take family.

The ride was great and we loved the stories of how the horses were rescued by this company! We would definitely recommend this company to anyone else who will be vacationing in the Bradenton area. Misty (2) and Rachel (both guides) were extremely friendly and professional. The only slight negative was that one of the cameras used for the picture package that we purchased was blurry, so many of the photos taken during our excursion were not the best quality. But overall the experience was great, and grateful for the opportunity!

This was a great adventure for our family. We went to celebrate my daughters 12th birthday. She loves horses and this was perfect! The horses are so calm and sweet. All have been rescued and I love that 90% of what we pay for back to these beautiful creatures. I wish we could have trailed some with them but there is no room for that. The pictures can turn out a bit dark but just save them to your phone and lighten them! The pictures Alexa took were great!!! Thanks for a wonderful tour 🙌🏻

What an amazing experience! I’ve been horse back riding many times before, even up mountains but this was by far the best ride. Our instructor was awesome, very personable. The horses were absolutely adorable. If your in the area looking for something fun to do, I highly recommend giving this a try, you won’t regret it!

What an excellent excursion this ended up being for our family. We had a great time and all 4 of our children had a blast! We surprised our 12 yo daughter with this awesome adventure. I have never been on a horse before and was nervous at first but Mercedes chose the right horse for my experience and also kept a close eye on everyone. Great instruction and great personable guide. The horses are very well take care of and are happy horses.

My group and I did the sunset beach ride and had an amazing time. Our group had both experienced and non-experienced riders. Mercedes did an amazing job making everyone feel safe while also ensuring we all had fun. Did this for my daughters 40th birthday. It was the best experience. Anyone can do it. Mya was a great instructor. The horses are so beautiful and well cared for. My 2 daughters and myself HIGHLY recommend it. Plus one of the best things beyond the experience is your helping support the well being of these rescued beautiful horses.

We showed up 30 minutes late due to traffic and they still gave us a ride!! All horses are beautiful and well kept. The guide is more of a blunt person but still very nice and polite and that didn’t bother me as we are riding horses and need to remain calm and do everything the right way to stay safe. The only thing I would say is that the horses are not very calm they are full of life lol it wasn’t enough to scare me and my husband all horses are rescue horses and I thought that was awesome!

Amazing and fun experience. Probably the only one in the world where you can swim a Gypsy Vanner horse The horses are gentle and well trained. Anyone from novice to experienced will enjoy. Our guide, Misty 2 , was great at explaining and guiding us. Definitely a bucket list experience and one you should not miss out on.

I cannot speak to the actual ride, just the business practices. We signed up for a sunset ride. I understand the cancellation policy, and we would have had one less rider, but the weather caused by tropical storm Fred was so bad we couldnt see outside it was coming down so hard and we were still told to drive all the way from our rental to sit for 30 mins so the weather might clear. I was also told that every rider needed to sign a spiral notebook (since I said we would have one less) and thats the only way I could be refunded. This business took advantage of a situation their policy did not dictate prior to the inclement weather. I would post the pictures of the policy before and after my attempted ride but I just want the rest of my money back for a service they cancelled because of how bad the weather was. We were also told a refund could not be given until the ride time, which they kept pushing back until they realized it was going to keep raining for the next two hours (mind you this was a sunset ride, time was limited anyway). They also told me it was up to my comfort level if I wanted to ride these things in the storm. What if someone has kids and they dont want to waste their time driving through a storm like we did? I emailed the place and have been given no response. I again cannot talk to the service, just the owner. Very very shady. I have the proof. Beware and shop around, especially during the rainy season. They clearly didnt have a solid policy and my trying to give them a heads up was used against me when the weather made them cancel. I literally got an email the day of with a totally different policy. They must think I wouldnt look. They still have my 200 bucks and will not return my email or call.The fact the owner has yet to answer my email and yet posts here is all anyone needs to know. It is very, very true. The owner is a liar. Beware.

Amazing!! Swimming with horses was a bucket list item for me. Our guide Lori was amazing no so fun, the team really matched us to horses that matched with our individual needs. My boyfriend has never been on a horse before and was always afraid of horses but they put him on a cute little horse named pearl who blew bubbles in the water out her nose. By the end of the ride, my boyfriend said he would absolutely get on another horse again. Almost all of the horses are rescue horses and seem to get amazing care, this is highly recommended

Brought my daughter here to ride in the bay for her tenth birthday. She had a blast. It was great not having to be the photographer and just enjoy it with her while still getting the memories later. Lorie was wonderful. Would highly recommend.

We had an awesome ride/swim with Ambra guiding us. The horses had great personalities! We have enjoyed many beach/nature rides, but swimming with them was the ultimate experience. We also enjoyed feeding them at the end. She took so many great pictures to document our awesome excursion.

A absolute fantastic experience. A must do in Bradenton. The guides were fun, insightful, hilarious, and made the time fly by with excitement. My daughter and I drove 16 hours to experience this excursion and it was worth every second. Great for experienced riders or newbies (like me). A+++

Not impressed with the location.Instructor wasn’t very really friendly upon arrival. She had sarcastic responses multiple times throughout the excursion, which I thought were extremely uncalled for. Even my 15 year old daughter pointed it out...Pictures weren’t the best.DEF not worth the money...1 hour ride was NOT worth $400 - but I suppose the experience was okay.Would not do again.Would not recommend.Horses were beautiful, and seemed to be treated well.Not a horse hater.Not a fake review.^^^^ seems all bad reviews are either haters or fake.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! HANDS DOWN ONE OF THE BEST EXCURSIONS WEVE DONE ON ANY VACAY!I would HIGHLY advise booking in advance because they sell out fast but thankfully we were lucky to snag 3 spots on this trip. Even our 17 year old was beaming ear to ear while out on his horse!They are all rescue ponies and our guide, Myuh, was knowledgeable, fun and just a great overall guide! We rode on Gypsy, Pearl (also known as Bubbles because she loves blowing bubbles in the water) and Marina and they were gorgeous ladies! The entire experience is in the water so you will absolutely get wet! Wear water shoes or sandals that wont come off while in the water (you can also wear sneakers or go barefoot too). The horses are easy to control and love being in the water. You go for 3 full swims with them as well and it is absolutely amazing! And for $140 a person is one of the best spent excursions weve ever done on ANY vacation. They have the picture package that is incredibly cheap compared to every other excursion ($35 for all the pics of our group of 3 and the other riders in our group which consisted of one other couple). You can also stand on your horse (horse surfing) if you choose to...it really isnt hard and I highly suggest at least try it!! We would recommend this to anyone going to AMI!One thing to note...if you dont have a rental car, make sure you arrange a taxi the night before to make sure that you get there in time. Taxis arent readily available there.

Went today with a party of four, 2 couples. Our horses hated each other which made pictures difficult. I feel like this should have been taken into consideration when selecting todays horses. There are consistent reminders to tip your guide (we did tip) at the end of every email is that reminder. Tipping should be optional not pushed so much. Its very off-putting. Our guide Mya was really enthusiastic and made the experience great. I will say the swimming portion lasts maybe 20 minutes. But it is a phenomenal experience.The rest is spent taking photos and walking in the water. The pictures were the biggest dissapointment for us. My boyfriend horse couldnt be near mine so we have no good pictures together and the action shots have none of us. Me and my BIL horses were paired and my sister and my boyfriend were together for all the swimming pictures.

We had a fantastic time with Alexa riding beautiful, powerful horses into and through the water. I cant believe I actually stood on a horse! I absolutely would do this again and recommend it to anyone considering it as a one of a kind vacation experience.

This was awesome. Very different from your everyday horseback riding. My daughter (13) who rides a lot even enjoyed how different this was to experience. About half the ride in wading (walking) through the water. The other half is swimming with the horses. That was awesome. The horses are surprisingly fast swimmers, even carrying humans on their back.Maya, our guide was awesome. She took the time to tell us the the stories of all the horses. Most of their horses are rescues. Alexa, who was our shore help, was nice as well, but we were not around her as much.It’s not cheap, but if you want a different type of experience - I highly recommend.

We loved this experience! The tour guides were fun and nice. It was great to see how well they know the horses. All the horses look well taken care of and were all so gentle. If you have never been on a horse before you could do this ride no problem. I saw another nearby company where only half of the people were on horses and the other half had to walk the horses and then they would switch. Not this one! With cponies you are on your beautiful horse, smiling the whole time. I will definitely be doing this again with other out of town visitors. Youll love it!!!Tips: Your shoes will be in the water majority of the ride. I recommend water shoes. The guides wore shorts. I wore board shorts and I would do that again. There was plenty of free parking right by the trailers on that small stretch of beach before the bridge. The water was really warm even in April (warmer than other parts of the bay) so it was comfortable for us in the water the whole ride in boardshorts and tanks. Dont forget your carrots!!!!

CPonies provides an excellent and unique experience for those who love animals and water. Other companies don’t let you ride the horses as they swim, but CPonies does!! The guides are great and they takes lots of pictures. Plus, most of their horses are rescues so it feels good to support them. Worth the time and money!

This was an incredible experience! There was 3 in our family one being a 9 year who absolutely loved every minute of it. But her favorite part was swimming with the ponies.

My family and I had a blast it was what I have always wanted to do. The staff are very nice and funny the horses are well taken care of, definitely recommend!!!

We did this for me and babes birthday, it was amazing. First time either of us had rode in deep water wit the horses swimming, the horses were absolutely amazing and so was their stories.i had Moana and instantly fell in love, her size, her colors, everything about her, wish I coulda took her home lol. But it was amazing. Our guide Mercedes was pretty amazing too.Definitely recommend! Theyre rescue horses and its just phenomenal the things they do with them!

Horrible customer service !!! I called to find out if I was able to do a photo shoot willing to pay full price for the excursion, and the lady on the phone asked to me to email their manager. So thats exactly what I did when I explained the manager wants to charge me $200 for 50mins Like whatt??? You charging someone extra money for less time and Im not even doing the excursion all I wanted was to Use one of the horses for a photoshoot for at least one hour and Im bringing my own photographer! Anyways when I explained to her and told her I didnt think this was a fair price she responded in a very rude way saying Then find someone else. Thats our price, no one said you had to do it. Like there are other ways to talk to people she couldve kindly give me a legit reason for her price. Its my money im spending so I would like for it to make since as to why Im paying extra for less! Some people are just not made for certain jobs if you dont know how to deal with people then find yourself a different type of job Carmen learn how to be polite and kind. Definitely not visiting or reccomending this place to other people.

We had the best experience at C Ponies Bradenton! Victoria was our wonderful guide and the other staff working, Nikki and Myah, were also very helpful. Were beginners but each step of the way we were clearly given direction. We learned the backstory of each of the horses we rode with and its very obvious that they are treated with love and care since being rescued. This unique experience is well worth the price and a must-do while in the area!

A friend of mine told me about Cponies and how great the experience was. I signed up myself and five other family members. It was beyond a blast and definitely the most fun activity we have done since living in Sarasota for 19 years! Ambra was our amazing guide and not only was she professional, she was so much fun to be with! She was definitely a big reason why the experience was so wonderful.We were all a little apprehensive about going into the water which we feared would be ice cold but I suppose being on a large warm blooded animal made it more than tolerable and we all hate cold water! All of the horses that we rode were very gentle and even my daughters boyfriend, who had never been on a horse in his life, felt very confident and was not scared one bit. Go sign up now and definitely choose the picture package! We are all really enjoying looking over the pictures and we are so happy we have these memories saved.

Nicole was a wonderful tour guide. Very personable and kind. Nemo was my choice horse (she is a little stubborn and I had asked for a challenge). Moana was kind enough to let me stand on her for a few pictures. I will definitely play again with these beautiful Gypsies.

Our experience at CPonies was fantastic. I did research for horse back riding near us prior to scheduling our ride and CPonies had the best reviews and the fact that they rescue horses sold me!!. Our guide Misty was awesome and she made the experience much better!!. We will definitely come back to CPonies again.

Great set of horses, Nikki was a Great guide!! Horses are suttable for All levels of ridding and All Ages!! Such a Smooth ride!!
