I can’t say enough about Ron’s auto. Very professional, nice, personal and honest. I was using another repair shop and they just never could get the job done right the first time so I decided to find another repair shop. After reading reviews I settled on Ron’s and I’m glad I did. Took my Dodge Dakota to get a stalling issue looked at. Diagnoses was a bad pcm. I was told no one had a pcm. Then I was told a junk yard had one for 600 dollars. Was informed labour was gonna run me at least 400 to replace it. I refused immediately. I was charged a hundred and something dollars for the diag. Took the truck home got a fully programmed pcm for 200$ with shipping. Arrived in 2 days. Literally took 5 minutes to replace. 3 connectors and 2 bolts. Was located in a super accessible place. Cannot stress how easy it was. I cannot believe they were gonna screw me over that bad. Terrible place will never go to again.

I had damage occur to the front right bumper of car, knocking off the splash covers and a fog light cover on underside after a speeding car hit two construction barrels sending one flying back onto 75 and into my car. I’m in FL visiting from MD.My niece had been on the Next Door app and had recommendations for auto mechanics. There were three very positive ones for Ron’s. I tried them first and very happy I did. I talked to Russ on the phone at 8am Monday Feb 3 and explained my situation. He told me to bring the car in at 9. Met Ron when I got there and he assessed the damage. I felt he gave me a fair price, was honest about what was needed. Gave me the written estimate and stuck to it. Very nice guys, very efficient, I felt reasonable pricing. They even did a safety check to be sure nothing more was wrong, and that I’d be safe back on the road. A cover had to be ordered for the fog light that was missing. That arrived earlier then expected on Tuesday. I took car back in and the cover was put on in minutes. I feel very fortunate that they got me in so quickly as they were obviously very busy!If I’m back in that area in the future and have a need for car service, I will definitely be calling Ron’s.

I was immediately impressed by by the sense of professionalism at Rons and scheduled an appointment on the spot. Great shop!!! I brought my car in and Ron And crew did careful and honest assessment...a rarity these days!!! I’m local, this is a tourist area, all the locals trust Ron’s. Update: We Have an old Subaru ( we bought new) that needed about 3k investment if we wanted to keep it. Ron’s did a complete overhaul and 8 months later, runs like new! No leaks, perfect idle, strong compression/ “pick-up” top notch job!!!

Ron’s Auto Service is one of the most honest auto shops I’ve ever been to. They cut you a good deal, and they don’t take advantage of women like a lot of places do. I waited a week after repairs were completed before writing this review.Im always hesitant in trying a new mechanic, but we were referred to Rons by our tire supplier, so figured wed give him a shot. Im giving 5 stars based on 5 things. 1. Customer Service: from the initial phone call, to the greeting at the shop, explanation of service, and final pick up, Tim and Ron made us feel like we have known them for years. 2. The owner works in the shop! Although he does have additional employees working on cars, Ron actually works on cars, and not just behind a desk. 3. Fair pricing: the price quoted for the repairs needed was fair, and not over priced. 4. Honest: My check engine light has been on for nearly 2 years. I had a quote from another mechanic that told me I needed to have my throttle body replaced ($1,000). Ron said he would check and see if it just needed a good cleaning, and thats what they did. Well, so far so good! 5. Timely repairs: I needed to have my A/C replaced at the same time, along with some additional maintenance. I expected to be out of my car for a couple of days, and they had it finished the same day! In conclusion, will we use Rons Automotive again? DEFINITELY!!

After searching around prices at different shops, I came across Rons auto service and was greeting by Ron himself. Hes very down to earth, and honest. After asking about a service that others wanted way more, his price was better than the others on 53 rd/ state road 70 (its the same road). Ill be switching. Professionalism and price, got me. Ron is an incredibly personable, and intelligent person. He made me feel welcomed in his shop, had a great conversation with me about my car and the maintenance it needs, and was very reasonable in his pricing. I will return, and if you own a Japanese car, you should give him a try. :)

My sister lives down in Bradenton and is moving back home now that shes retiring from teaching. She just had a bunch of work done at our hometown mechanic who weve used and trusted for years on her red 1998 Honda CRV. Turns out hes not the guy he used to be. He seriously overcharged her, and did shoddy work to boot! We ended up taking it to a second shop to get everything fixed correctly. She noticed some leaks on a return trip to Bradenton from Deland. I told her you should get it checked before heading back north. Based on her experience 2 weeks ago we were really leery to let anyone touch the car. I did a search and found Rons Auto Service and all of the great reviews and told her to take it there.My sister commented on her experience.1) Ron was awesome, a really nice guy.2) The shop was clean, well organized, and everyone was professionally dressed.3) They treated her with respect and were very thorough in their examination of the car.4) They didnt find anything major, but made some recommendations regarding further service back home.We are very happy with our experience at Rons and it appears we picked the right garage! He was more interested in helping me make the right decision on what my car needed and explained the pros and cons for each decision rather than just going for the higher sell. He’s an honest guy with honest prices and I support the local business!

Had major time consuming work done on my 07 Toyota Camry hybrid. Ron fully explained what needed to be done and when car would be ready. Great people to work with.
