I am shocked to see reviews that say that Derby Agency has not been responsive to clients. We have had the absolute exact opposite experience in our many years with Dean and his crew. Derby Agency has been incredible in helping us figure out not only our personal insurance, but also the insurance on our guest ranch, which is large and complex. Trust me, we have thrown some crazy issues Deans way over the years! And I remember one time a few years ago that Dean called us out of the blue to say that he had been reviewing our car insurance and had found a way to save us hundreds of dollars. We had not even asked for that review! We would recommend Dean and the Derby Agency without reservation.

Here is an idea. How about returning phone calls when you have a business. Office hours 8-5 M-F. More like 9:00ish to 11:30 and 1:00 to 4:30 M-Th. Thank goodness we moved insurance elsewhere before we had any claims. Cant imagine how painful that would be. How places like this can survive in business is beyond me. Too many other agencies want the business to mess with this frustration.

Weve been with Dean for over seven years now. I wouldnt dream of going anywhere else. Hes always been there for me when I needed him, even answering emails when he was on vacation. There are some other reviews, but I cant speak to their experiences. Obviously, my relationship with Dean has been quite different.
