So grateful to Richard for fixing a most recalcitrant locking mechanism on our wheelchair. After sharing that usually when these mechanisms wont work they are not repairable, as parts are not available from the manufacturer, he proceeded to try anyway. He went at the problem like it was a personal challenge. And, he figured it out! I left with an operational wheelchair. He and his wife were so gracious in helping me. The customer service here is exceptional! I purchased a posterior rolling walker for my son from here in January. We recently discovered that the wheel alignment was different than the previous walker he had. Additionally, the new walker completely locked. I brought it back seeking the minimal repair I knew it needed. Jackie and Calvin were amazing!!! Jackie assured me that they would be able to resolve everything in time for our upcoming travel. Calvin unlocked the walker and showed Jackie how the wheels were supposed to work. When I returned to pick up the walker Jackie showed me what shed learned. I shared that the previous walkers wheels were aligned differently. She immediately researched how to either switch the alignment or get a new walker that met my specifications. This was the greatest purchasing experience of my entire life. While traveling through the airport, a wheel on my father’s rollator broke. Relying on it for his ambulation, we sent out emails to various medical supply locations near our destination. We had to move Mom into assisted living and were in need of a lift chair right away. However I was in North Carolina and she was in Florida. After calling several medical supply companies I had the pleasure of speaking with Richard at Ability Medical Health & Wellness. Richard listened to the situation, explained the features of the various chair models then delivered and setup the chair right to her room. But his service didn’t stop there. Mom only lasted two weeks in assisted living before landing in the hospital and then was moved into skilled nursing shortly after. The chair then needed to be moved to the new facility. Having Matthew John help my husband receive his CPAP machine was the best experience. We were very impressed with Matthews promptness and knowledge of the products, but even more so with his ability to expedite the process with our insurance company (our insurance company is unbelievably slow).
