After losing my beloved dog after more than 14 years together I was missing a major part of my life. No longer had her on the bed at night, no longer had her to curl up with for naps, no longer had her to greet me when I got home etc. It was depressing and hard to sleep. I decided to spend the money on a Petsie so that I would have something to give me the feel if her being here. I was nervous to spend the money but felt better about it as they sent emails every step of the way. From approving the designs to creating the pattern and picking out the fabric and so on, they emailed me updates so that I knew it was being worked on. And the final product was amazing. They are well worth the money and have brought a smile to my face because even though I cannot have my dog back, I have something that looks remarkably like her.

We put our beloved family dog of 19 years down in the spring. I had ordered a Petsie for my parents a few weeks before knowing we would probably have to say goodbye to him soon. It arrived a few weeks after he left us but just in time for Mother’s Day. It was BY far the best present, lots of tears all around. It looks JUST like him. We still get a little startled walking into a room thinking it’s really him but it’s such a special memory piece to have.I sent in several photos and a detailed description, as well as did a lot of research on their social media and website to figure out which hair types, size, and position to ask for. I think this helped the end product turn out so well. I can only assume the more you give the team to work with the better! And ours was better than I ever could’ve expected. Wow I bought the pillows with my pets pictures on them. They were awesome!! I also got a mask but I thought it was a little expensive for ONE- thought there would be at least three!? But it also came out great if you want to spend the money. They do an excellent job

We purchased a Petsie for my sister and her family. They had to put their very much loved dog to sleep.At first the price seemed high BUT let me tell you that it is WORTH EVERY PENNY!! I would suggest paying for the preview before its made. Photos dont always show every angle and they are creating off of photos. They never saw your beloved pet in person. So seeing the preview and being able to make changes is worth it! They responded right away to my changes and it was a very easy process. I would definitely use them again and recommend for anyone that wants a duplicate of their pet to use them.

In my opinion, the pillow I ordered is in no way worth $70. While yes the picture of our dog is ok, its just a print of the picture I sent. No detailed cut around the legs like they show with other dogs. The stitching seems rushed and the opening I assume they used to stuff the pillow is pushed out which looks weird as the rest of the stitching is recessed. Overall feels like a cheap pillow youd buy at a dollar store with barely any stuffing.

Two of my elderly toy poodle passed within a month of each other. I was ever pleased with the work Petsie did recreating their likeness. It gave me a lot of comfort.

The communication from them every step of the way was great. When we received our Rocky look alike, the back of him was spot on. Our dog was a Beagle /Rat terrier mix but our custom look alike looked more like a Husky. When we lost our Sadie it was without warning and I saw the Petsies’s on FB, I researched to make sure they were a real company…I sent a few pictures of our Sadie and waited. I received emails through out the process that kept me informed of the progress. When the Petsies box was delivered it said to make sure you video yourself opening the box. I thought, ok, no one was around…my reaction was priceless! (If I can upload I will). I had very low expectations (I mean no way it will ever look like my Sadie). OMG! I was choosing between petsies and cuddle clones for my cat that had recently passed away.After looking at both companies and their reviews both had a variety of good and bad. Ultimately I was sold on petsies because you can purchase an option called a ‘sneak peak’. This allows you to see your petsie before it is sent and allows you to make changes. This paid for itself as my original sneak peak showed a few incorrect details. I’m giving 4/5 stars because unfortunately I took 6 changes for the ‘artists’ to understand what was wrong. For instance they put a big black spot on her face, which I asked to be removed. They ended up removing the spot but also removed all colour from her face at the same time leaving it grey. After 6 changes we got there and my petsie arrived within a few weeks. The quality is actually really good and every detail I requested was spot on. In the end I received a product that was worth every cent, it just took about 6 weeks to get it right. If you’re in the same boat as me, pick petsies and pay for the sneak peak option, this will guarantee you will receive a product that you love! Thanks again petsies :)

I was a little skeptical at first bc i only saw one ad and it was a spontaneous purchase i made but i sent a bunch of pictures of my dog and they did an amazing job. i wasnt expecting it too be this good and they are very good at responding to emails fast and all that customer service stuff. if you a replica of your dog this is 100% worth the money and you can send multiple pictures and put things in notes for them to view and consider while doing it. it also came in faster than i expected. 10/10 recommend

I had gotten a stuffed version of our dog who passed for my mom who really loved our dog. It’s a bit derpy and looks mostly like her, maybe it was the pictures I sent that made things difficult.But my mom has it on her desk, and whenever she has meetings where she has to face time almost every time someone asks “is that a real dog?!” And my mom then has to explain it. It’s funny and we enjoy having it around, especially since I put our dog’s old collar on it so it looks even more like her!Thanks for giving us something to smile at!

Waited patiently for weeks for this after tragically loosing our dog, but sadly the stuffed animals face looks not like her. She had straight not fluffy ears and was an older dog which wasnt reflected in the face. She always wore a hoodie which we hoped would be included but wasnt, however her face.. her eyes and nose are not at all how she looked, and the finish looks very cheaply done. Gutted & disappointed.

My petsies face is a bit derpy looking -- other than that its a perfect replica of my beloved Tux. The fluffiness, the coloring, the whiskers.. its all perfect. His face just looks a bit sideways.

Im hoping to give an honest review here that may help someone else out. Getting a Petsie of a recently deceased pet can be a pretty emotional experience. Im really glad I didnt video record myself opening the box because I was pretty upset and disappointed at first. Its the eyes. Theyre soulless, empty stuffed animal eyes. That realization hits hard at that moment that youre never going to look into your fur furbabys eyes again. After a few days, looking at him from different angles, I definitely saw the resemblance. The ah ha moment was when I saw him in the middle of the night when the room was dark. When you cant see the eyes very clearly, he looks just like my Dexter. What I basically wanted to say is that if youre mourning, the plush may be disappointing at first because you want to feel their presence again and a stuffed animal just cant do that. If you have realistic expectations, they do wonderful job giving you the closest thing possible to your pet. They were very responsive to messages and Im very pleased.

Well worth the cost. They kept me updated at every step of the process. It took longer than the estimated time frame, but to be fair we entered the pandemic shortly after, and the quality was still worth the wait. They ask for multiple photos of your pet so that they can recreate it accurately from every angle, and they ask you for additional details, too. What I received was a replica of my sweet Jasmine that looks so close to her, I can hug it and feel like Im hugging the real thing. I was impressed by the quality and attention to detail. When you consider these are made by hand, you will appreciate their work even more. I wish I could thank the people by name who took the time and skill to bring me some peace and love.

My lovely, baby Maxie was 15 years old when she died and it was her time to go but i wasnt ready. Petsies made me the most realistic replica of her that i ever could have hoped for. I ordered a pair of socks following my dog passing away back in August. The designer did ask if I had any front-facing pictures of my pup, and I didnt, so they went with the profile view I originally sent. I ordered them on the pizza background for sentimental reasons.I received the donut socks. I was a little disappointed, but not enough to raise a stink and deal with a potential hassle to get the right thing. I was just happy to be able to keep my dog close to me. If anything, I just wasnt going to make another purchase in the future. The next day after the socks arrived, I received an email from the Petsies team saying hey, we realize we messed up, and were really sorry. Please let us fix it. And they did. I didnt even have time to respond before the replacement order had been placed.The right socks arrived, and both pairs were adorable and comfortable. I love the socks plenty, but I love the Petsies team more. I wish I could give more than five stars because they eased the pain in a grieving gals heart.

We had to say goodbye to our fluffy boy right before we were quarantined. My 5 year old who grew up with him, was absolutely devastated. I purchased a custom styled cat for my 93 year old Grandmother for Christmas because her cat Matilda had died recently. She cant get another cat, so I thought this might be the solution. Well, Petsies was more than I expected. They give you regular email updates of where they are in their process (if you get one around the holidays it will take longer because of more orders) - it was usually around the time I would think I wonder how Petsies is doing with my order?Anyway, though it is very pricey for a stuffed animal, it is TOTALLY worth it because of their amazing customer service and because my Grandma was so happy. Now she places Petsies Matilda in different areas around the house where real Matilda liked to be. I have had to double-take several times thinking it was Matilda.Thank you, Petsies. You brought joy to my Grandma and to me.

I thought the detail was great except for one item. The gift was for my daughter and the one thing she didn’t care for was the eyes. She said they didn’t look like our dogs eyes and she is right. I said I would send it back to have that fixed but she didn’t want me to go through the trouble. I am sad that she didn’t LOVE it. Our dog studied with her through HS and I wanted a look-a-like for her to have at college. It was a good thought.

We absolutely love Petsies! We now have three of our furry loved ones as mini furry loved ones. Petsies does an amazing job capturing as many details as accurately as possible. It takes a good minute to have it completed but you cant rush this magic! Only thing I can possibly say was that our most recent furry doggo was not quite as accurate to the photos, but even still we were pleasantly surprised that they captured our girl as a puppy in the plush version of her. Being a Christmas gift to my sister, I was quite happy that she will have her best fur-end as a puppy forever! One thing I do know is that if there is an oopsie with the plush pet, Petsies honors fixing them! We had the wrong colored eyes once, and they were so helpful in correcting it for us, just like if we really didnt want this most recent dog as a puppy version I know they would help correct it! 100% worth the monies and the waitings!

A great experience with a difficult subject to replicate. A birthday gift for our adult daughter of her 14 year old tortoise shell kitty brought tears to her eyes, and yes, the kitty is still alive and well. Being a designer I was very critical of the update photos and some of the characteristics from combination of fur color to the snout and everything in between. Each time I received a courteous and professional response to my input and the adjustments they performed at no additional cost were right on target. We had to keep it at our home for several weeks and it always startled us as to how realistic it was. We finally had to put it away until her birthday as it also alarmed our cat every so often. Money well spent on a very meaningful gift. I wish I had taken some pix of her so any one reading this could see the results.

We had an English bulldog (still alive) and a Boxer (now deceased) made and the markings were spot on. I just wish they would stand up a little straighter for display purposes.Regards,Randy

I can’t say enough positive things about this company. After our 12 year old boxer died, I got a stuffed animal of her made to surprise my wife. Petsies reached out to me a couple of times for more pictures so they could make sure everything was perfect, and it sure was. Our boxer was brindle and her face had turned grey from her age and they nailed it on the plush. When my wife opened the box, she immediately teared up. Highly recommend!!

I was not sure what to expect but the people at Petsies went above and beyond to make sure that I was able to send enough pictures and I am so glad I went ahead and got the sneak preview. It just ensured that my experience was that much better. I got to review and request a minor change. Petsie folks were happy to oblige. My 13 year old chi chi Lily is still with us and when I introduced her to her pet she didn’t know what to think! She thought it was real! She sniffed its butt. It was hysterical. I’m so glad I got this and you will be too if you do. We love it.

These folks are incredible! Not only do they make stuffed versions that look just like our pets, but theyre very communicative in giving updates on the process. Im so glad we got one of our late Sidney. Its uncanny in how it looks just like him!

It took quite a while for the product to be made and delivered (so if this is a gift, be sure to order it several weeks before the special day) but the wait was well worth it because the finished product was fantastic.

My husband I love our two tiny replicas of our two sweet dogs who are no longer with us. We take our two petsies with us when we travel in our RV. We do have to say, that they are very quite and well behaved travelers. This is Sisko and Poppy on vacation with us. We all had a great time!

I had heard about Petsies awhile back but didnt have a need to use them. The minute my mom lost her dog I immediately thought of them. The pandemic pushed production back but they were so informative and helpful about the process. I could not believe how much it looked like her dog, she couldnt either. She had to do a double take. She loved it and cried a lot. Its a great gift

When my mother had to go into a care facility, I had a Petsie made of one of her late dogs. At the time she still had some ability to remember. She would stroke and talk to her Petsie and I believe gave her comfort when I wasnt able to visit. The Petsie is so lifelike, the workers at her care facility thought is was a real dog. I had one made of one of my late dogs and plant have another made.

Ordered one of my Pitbull/Retriever Bella and one of my recently departed Husky Mix Fred. Both are perfect, huggable, and can easily spook me into thinking theres a real dog on my bed. I will definitely be back for more in the future!
