1st wax I got here was wonderful! She made me feel so relaxed and calm the entire process. The 2nd wax (with a different person) I got done here was disappointing. She left numerous, large spots of body hair that were completed waxed off during my 1st appointment. It was so inconsistent I ended up finishing the job at my own place when I got home. The room I was in wasn’t cleaned very well and had hair and leftover wax chunks all over the floor from previous customers.The receptionist however is lovely! She contacted me prior to the appointment about a scheduling change and was so helpful in getting me in the same day at a different time.

Very nice place, and they use their own special formulated wax that has less pain and better for your skin. Wife loves it too. For weeks of care free hair removal. : )

Full disclosure: I went today as a part of their pre-opening VIP week and received a free service.Great waxing salon! The rooms are clean and private, and the staff was very friendly and professional and did everything possible to make sure I was comfortable, offering me water, checking to make sure the wax was not too hot, etc.I went for an eyebrow wax and purposely scheduled it later in the day since most of the times Ive ever had my eyebrows waxed Im red and tender for several hours. I dont know what they did differently, but I was shocked when all the redness was gone 30 minutes later.Overall, the prices feel reasonable for the service provided, and I would definitely recommend Waxing The City.

My cerologist was Ashley Garmon Kirk and she was phenomenal. Even for my first time being waxed, I had minimal pain. She was very understanding and caring, and helped me through any anxiousness.
