If you are college student looking for a off campus rental house. By all means, do not rent through Frobose Rentals. Renting with them for 2 years, all 8 of my roommates and other renters with other houses, can attest to staying away from these guys. There houses consistently have black mold growing on the ceilings of all bathrooms with rodents infesting the basements and lurking underneath the houses. If you request maintenance for a broken item in the house, they will charge you time and money for the repairman to come. A huge problem is that they are only in there office about 2-3 hours a day with taking a 2 hour lunch midday every day. They scam every college student renter in every possible way for every dime and penny they can cough out of you. You can expect to not receive any of your deposit back by e end of your lease. The houses are not even equipped with carbon monoxide detectors let alone even being up to inspection code. Please if you are looking to rent in Bowling Green, look for another rental company in the area. It’ll save you time an money.

Frobose rentals is by far the worst rental company in BG. They don’t care about issues with there houses and take their own time to fix the problems within their homes. Mostly will end up in the final bill so they can scam you of more money. John is the only nice one out of this company. Henry is very rude and think he’s entitled with everything about his company, even though most of there houses aren’t up to living standards. If you ask for an ESA letter for a pet they will automatically deny you even though it’s legal for you to have one. There standards for each house is horrific and just use new paint to cover old damages so they don’t have to pay out of pocket. Please refrain from using them if you can avoid them!

I have a family member who rented a property from this company. The sink in basement started leaking and they would not come out and fix it. the washer was plumbed into sink. The sink leaked for sometime. Causing damage to the bathroom floor. The shower wasnt installed correctly in the first place. No support underneath. I am a plumber by trade.Now the the company wants thousands of dollars to fix it even though they were at fault. Never seen a dryer vent run through a window before. The ceilings in down stairs living quarters is not code.N neither is wiring.

I have yet to have a bad experience with either John or Henry. Weve had a few issues pop up in our rental, and theyve always been very attentive and quick. Frankly, I dont see what all the hate is about.

Frobose rentals are an absolute terrible rental company. My roommates and I had a terrible experience with them. They do not communicate with their tenants by phone, email, or in letters by mail. They will change their office hours and not disclose that information out to us. They also don’t let you know when they are going to be in the office around holiday times so you can pay rent. Around Christmas they were not in the office until after New Years and still charged us a late fee for rent. They are hard to get a hold of even by phone and if you do, you can never tell which brother is who your speaking to. They also have poor communication between themselves . If you speak to one brother on the phone, the one you catch in the office will be different and won’t have any idea that you spoke about your issue already to his brother. The one brother is SO rude. He is the one who my roommates and I saw in the office most of the time. They nickel and dimed us for our security deposit. Best advice i can give is don’t rent through them.

10/10 Would NOT recommend for ANY reason. When we moved in, our ceiling started leaking from the upstairs bathroom down into the living room. We asked them to fix it multiple times and they refused. Our ceiling was literally spongey and we couldn’t shower in the upstairs bathroom without water pouring through the ceiling. We just moved out and it still wasn’t fixed. Our dryer was burning our clothes and it smelt like a fire and it took them WEEKS to come look at it at which point they told us they wouldn’t fix it until it “completely stopped working.” We could never get ahold of them & they never responded to us. Not to mention our neighbor threw out their furniture next to the dumpster (which you can’t do) on move out day and the owner of frobose heckled us for it for 10 minutes until he finally understood it wasn’t our furniture.They are entirely rude and unprofessional. They nickel and dimed our security deposit for things that were wrong when we moved in. They are scammers.

Definitely try to scam and take advantage of college students who may not know much about renting. Avoid at all costs.

The absolute WORST people to rent from in BG. After moving in to my apartment, I heard countless horror stories from other people about them, but by then it was too late to back out. We had an incident in which a small section of the living room carpet was damaged, so Frobose decided to not only take out the entire carpet in the living room and replace it, but also the hallway carpet that was completely separate and charged us for both. They also blamed us for the state of the hallway carpet, even though it literally hadnt changed since they showed us the place before we moved in. Very dishonest and shady people and the older man that runs the place is rude and completely unapproachable.

Talk about a rental company that doesnt know what theyre doing. I just called the company inquiring about their available rentals and the man on the phone says we dont allow pets. see ya.Not only rude, but the fact you didnt even give me a chance is pathetic. My dog is a certified service dog that is 9 years old, 25 pounds, doesnt shed, and is hypoallergenic.To add to that, I was planning on paying all 12 months up front.You just lost a valued customer.

What landlord? You can NEVER get ahold of anyone. I moved in about a month ago and there are still things that need to be fixed since move in day. They say they are open from 1-5 but they never answer the phone and they arent there when you physically walk into the building. The house wasnt cleaned properly when we moved in and the owner said We dont make any money off of cleaning these houses.

You guys are open for only 4 hours on business days and take a 2 hour break from 2:30-4:30? That’s incredibly weak.
