My truck said my key was damaged.I placed a call to Howard’s locksmith in hopes to get a new key.That’s when Anthony answered and from initial conversation till he came out and programmed a new key he was professional and very responsive! Best locksmith ever. Super polite, professional, and skilled. I accidentally locked my dog in my car and they were twice as quick as any other place I called said they would take and it only took him a few minutes once he got there.

I drove one hour because this was the only locksmith that i could find to make a key simply from a number code stamped in the lock...on my 1957 chevy... obscure and obselete.. justin dug through the old gm book to confirm my code... he was very patient with me...he made a key that turned a lock that id say hasnt been turned in at least 40 yrs. . this is a REAL lock shop with thousands of key blanks...even for my old 57 chevy.. totally satisfied

Great little local place. I was surprised with their capabilities and variety of services. They were friendly, and knowledgeable. The sign says Bike Shop, but it is indeed a locksmith as well. Parking is pretty typical for down town, but not terribly inconvenient.

Took a little bit of time to get a new key made but they were kinda busy.Returned a second time to get a replacement key and they were extremely helpful and got the 2 keys done quickly.

I broke my remote to unlock my truck and fully expected to spend over $50.00. After a discussion with the locksmith at Howard’s, he took the pieces that were broken and put them in a new shell. Everything still worked! There was not even a reprogramming fee. Prior to that I called The Dealership who asked no questions and wanted at minimum $110.00... and it would have to be ordered. I was very impressed that this little mom and pop shop had the item I needed in stock AND asked questions which in turn saved me money! I offered a tip and he said, “no thank you, this is my job-I’m being paid already. Just tell your friends.” So friends, I’m telling you that the locksmith at Howard’s in BG is outstanding, very professional, friendly, honest and also quick. I was there less than 15 minutes and may end up buying a bicycle!! Check them out!! I was impressed!!

I live in Russell Springs KY, an hour from Bowling Green. I needed a new key for my Ford F-150. The dealer wanted my truck for half a day and twice the price of Howard’s. I set up an appointment. We got it done and programmed in 15 minutes and was on my way. Anthony did a great job. Would recommend them highly for their locksmith services!

Had them make programmable keys for both my wife and my vehicles . Fast, easy, and just no fuss. Great service, plus I looked at their bicycles while I waited. Ten minutes was all it took for me get mine done. I’m not sure how long it took for my wife because she came later in the day. But she was excited to have a push button lock/unlock fob key because she had been using the key to unlock the door.

I had needed to change my locks in my home very quickly. Gary was very punctual and very kind. He had the locks changed out before I knew it. I even had one lock that was very loose and he tightened it. I will definately use them again.

My college daughter’s key broke, and Gary with Howard’s was excellent to work with. I called from out of town to get my daughter assistance! Gary was patient and very helpful. My daughter and her friends said Gary deserves more than five stars because he was so helpful and kind!

I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. I call them about my car . I had lost the key . I ask them if they could make me another key . The guy said he could make me one that would start and run the car but no remote. I went up there & he made me 2 . Charged me $74.00 , got home & the motor wouldn’t turn over . I called & wouldn’t give my money back said he would come to my house for another $175.00 & fix it . I called Bowling Green Locksmith & they came to my house and fixed it for $120.

These guys really made my day! The key to my 2007 Chrysler Town and country was broken in half, I went to our local Dodge dealership taking both pieces of the key and they stated it could NOT be fixed and It would cost me approx $200 for a new one due to the new key having to be programmed to the vehicle... Thankfully $30 bucks later and to Howards locksmith my key is fixed! The new key was made from the broken one and everything out of old remote put in another. The only issue I have is the buttons on new remote will not work to unlock/open doors, this may be due to the battery inside remote or at least Im hoping thats all it is. Either way I am very thankful to be able to start my vehicle without having to pay an extra $200 to do so. 😊

I saw a good review so called. Both times I called the person coming was very short with me. When I finally got ahold of my husband he was going to try to get in. I was scared to call the guy back. He shows up, I explain abt my husband, he goes off on me. Says Jesus Christ, dont call us back. Im standing there with a baby in a stroller. Wow. I offered him gas money. He was still RUDE.
