They re-upholstered my center console lid with a pre-cut / pre-sewn leather cover. the lid looks good and was tight and straight, I would recommend DJs. price is a little high but the quality is there so its ok.

I have been using this Shop for over 15 years after using several other shops in town. the quality of work that DJs puts out is incredible! They are extremely fast and it is always done right! I strongly recommend that if you want it done right call them first before doing anything! They really care about their reputation and customers, you will be glad you chose them!

I highly recommend DJs Upholstery. I had disassembled the convertible top on my Crossfire to have the hydraulic cylinders and pump rebuilt. Upon reassembly I had problems with two pieces of weather-stripping. I couldnt get them back in the slot. I stopped by DJs this morning to see if they could help. They took my car into their shop and in less than 30 minutes it was fixed. When I asked how much I owed them they said No charge. Very happy customer!!

Wow what an experience! I have gone to several shops in the area and no one has the knowledge and expertise they do. They explain everything really well and jobs look great! The 1 star review is from someone who does no know what they are talking about. You never run a convertible through a car wash machine as chemicals destroy it.

DJs did a complete custom upholstery job on my 1932 Ford street rod and it is amazing! I told them what I had in mind for colors and Melissa picked out a combination and Terry designed a plan and it turned out above my expectations. Fantastic work in a short period of time. I would definitely recommend them for what ever your project might be.

On June 3, 2019, I visited DJs Upholstery at 2462 Russellville Road, Bowling Green, KY to have a small tear in the drivers seat of my 2014 Porsche Cayman repaired. I met with Melissa who looked at the seat and gave me an estimate of $291 and indicated I would need to pay the material cost prior to the repair. We agreed that I could pay the material cost when I brought the car in for repair. I called later the same day and Melissa indicated that I needed to come back to their shop and pay the material cost prior to scheduling the repair. This was different than previously agreed. Melissa seemed irritated since she said, I had to walk all the way from the back to the front to look for a schedule date. Melissa also said that if I gave her a credit card number over the phone, she would charge me an additional $10. I couldnt understand that policy and I asked her to explain. She said, You have to give me the money! In the middle of this exchange, her voice was raised and she shouted, Im not working on your Porsche and she hung up on me. I dont know if this is Melissas policy or the policy of DJs Upholstery. Im disappointed to experience a company who has been in business since 1972 exhibit an apparent lack of business ethics and seemingly unprofessional behavior.

Beware!!!!!!!!First, my review is not on the quality of work done. Everything Terry and presumably their son Tyler have done has been top notch. But..... my experience dealing with Melissa in the front office has been the least professional, least concerned about the customer, least transparent, most frustrating interaction I’ve ever had. Here is how it has gone.I picked out carpet and a headliner option with the help of Terry, was quoted a price for it, and gave them a deposit. Lovely. Then, I get a call saying the carpet I picked out is only for vettes and it can’t be molded for my Jeep with a heel pad. I’ll have to use the OEM carpet (which was not the same as what’s in my Jeep and wouldn’t match the carpet on the seat). I intentionally didn’t pick that when I looked at the samples because I hated it.The rest of the conversation went like this.Me - ok, well, no big deal. Just refund my deposit on the carpet and we’ll do the headliner.Melissa - says on the sign deposits are non refundable. (Which is located on the wall to the left and I was never directed to read it)Me - you sold me something that can’t be installed in my car.Melissa - deposits are non refundable. We can do the oem carpet though.Me - I hate the fluffy carpet. That’s why I didn’t pick it. It’s your job to sell me what works for my car. That’s literally your job.Melissa - well, we can mold the carpet you picked to your car but it won’t have the heel pad.Me - why are you just now telling me this? But I’d like the heel pad. Again, these are things you should tell me BEFORE I give you a deposit or refund my deposit if you can’t deliver what I bought.Melissa - sir, it says on the sign deposits are non-refundable.Face palm. The laziness was palpable.Terry had to step in apparently and call the carpet company and eventually informed me that the company would mold it with the heel pad. Great. But this was after me having to get incredibly frustrated and angry with Melissa and raise my voice in order for them to find a solution. So I came back in to confirm the headliner color and carpet to be 100% sure what I was getting. Terry asks if I’d like the visors done as well. They’d just have to do away with the mirror. I say sure and think nothing more of it.Today I take my Jeep in to get the headliner installed and come back in to pick it up. Low and behold she charges me an extra $50 for the visors. This was never discussed as an extra charge. I have no issue paying for something that’s discussed upfront, like guacamole at Chipotle. She says it was and spouts something about how her son heard her say it that day when I came in. Lie. So i get very upset and throw in a few choice cuss words and tell her that it’s her literal job to tell me what things are going to cost BEFORE the job is started. This is a terrible way to run a business. She says, “you’re gonna pay it if you want your Jeep back.” I say, I will literally tell everyone I know about this interaction and write a long terrible review warning people to stay away from your business. She says, “I don’t care. We’re tired of messing with you. We deal with millionaires and none of them have complained.” Wow.I go in to get the carpet installed on the 24th, and who knows what else they forgot to tell me about. So yeah. Beware. I’m not easily worked up, but THIS level of ignorance and disrespect for a customer is mind blowing. Thank you Terry and son for your great work, but please find a different front office manager who knows how to sell product and give accurate, clear estimates; or learn to bend your deposit policy when it’s your screwup.
