Installed a tire on my vehicle, needed my help to get it done, waited until after it was mounted to tell me they dont balance them and charged me for putting it back on the car when I did it. English is terrible, I can barely understand them.

I’ve gotten tires here before and everything was smooth but I just got off the phone trying to get a quote on 4 new tires. He refused to give me a quote. He told me to just come up there and give him $100 deposit and it would be a “great deal.” I’m sorry but where do they do that at? I’m not giving a deposit down on something I don’t know the final cost of.

If youre looking to sell used tires youre better off doing it on Facebook Marketplace or whatever social media platform you like to use as this guy will not give you a decent price for them

Seriously guys do not use this shop. I was running late for work and had to get a tire in a pinch. He sold me a tire with an absolutely insane knot in it. Had to buy a new tire somewhere else after work. He refused to give me my money back and only when I became irate gave me half, took the tire, and Im pretty sure placed it back into the used tire pile to sell it again.

I used to go here because it was conveniently close, however, I went there this morning to replace a tire and the owner tried to convince me that the tire had more tread than was visibly seen. Kinda unscrupulous for those who dont know better. And then tried to charge $60 for a tire with less than 50% tread when you can go to Walmart and purchase a tire for $105 that has a warranty. I ended up going to Sawyers Tire and they were so nice and down to earth. I ended up getting a tire with better tread for $35 mounted and balance. I was in and out in 8 minutes and had a nice conversation with him while he was working. I highly recommend anyone needing tires to go to Sawyers Tire Shop near South Warren Schools.

Unfortunately 0 stars isn’t allowed. BEWARE!!!!They are crooks. They will show you a good tire and put on a bald one. What they do is ILLEGAL. It’s called THEFT BY DECEPTION. They will also run your credit card for more than agreed price. NEVER go to this place. CROOKS.

ABSOLUTELY AVOIDMake sure you check any tire you buy from them for plugs and repairs.Make sure you dont expect any sort of positive customer service. The main dude there started off halfway decent and then got frustrated at the tire being installed and took it out on me.Make sure you dont expect them not to scratch the hell out of your wheels by installing tires they dont seem to have ever installed before. They put deep scratches in the face of my wheels, and the lips.Dude straight up rolled a bad tire at me out of anger while I was loading my wheels up after getting in an argument with me over trying to increase the price after the work was done. I ended up paying way more than what I shouldve bothered to give this jerk.

Always have what I need. Usually the cheapest deal. But poor quality service. Boss barely speaks English. Mechanic is super slow and unenthused. They do not appreciate the customer. If I ask about something and they answer in poor English.. I dont know what they say back. Unsafe practice, two floor Jacks on front(for front tire removal) pinch rails, no jack stands. No wheel Chuck or emergency brake engaged. Impact lugs back on, not torqued. So 2500 pickup and my 4 lug are tightened the same.. by ear and eye. But so do most shops. Again, convenient and cheap. Just wish the had an employee that you could conversate with about product selection and recommended repairs. One of my hub studs were stripped and I was trying to tell the mechanic what I wanted to do about it but he looked so confused.. he replied with a fading volume and a turning away and down head as he continued to tighten bolts.. but the wheels havent fell off yet so, so far so good I guess. Potentially the best cheap shop in town for tires if they would translate English better.

I purchased “used” tires 2 1/2 months ago. And took it to him because I was told they were bad and made in 2010!! The man blamed me and said it was my fault the tires are ready to pop. I paid $132.00 for these tires and he didn’t even care that now I can’t drive my car safety with my kids. Told me it was an alignment problem not his!! I will never go back to that place. Wouldn’t even make it right or help me to make my car safe.

These people know absolutely nothing about tires . We settled on a price . He did not balance the new tires because his tire balancer was broke strike 1 . My tires were severely under inflated he put 40psi in tires that called for 80psi stike 2 Then he refused to put the correct amount of pressure in the tires strike 3. New tires have a yellow dot on them to be mount at the valve stem . He had no idea about that and mounted then incorrectly. And then after all that when it came time to pay he told me I couldnt use my credit card it had to cash . And then wouldnt give me a receipt. Do yourself a favor and pass the idiot up .

DO NOT GO HERE!!! FAULTY TIRES, UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE!The long story: I went to get two used tires to replace two more worn down tires (one tire that actually needed to be changed because of how worn down it was). They had two tires that looked to be in good shape but during the change out the nice younger guy who worked there noticed a large hole in one of the tires and was going to repair it. I decided that I didnt want to take the chance on that tire so I just went with the one to change out the really worn out tire. After five days this tire literally blew out on the highway on the way back from the airport. Luckily I had already dropped off the person I needed to at the airport because I waited over 2.5 hours for help. I went back to USA used tires and tried to get some money back or another tire for reduced price but the owner was rude and kept saying he only has a 3 day warranty, so I left and went to a mechanic (who is a great friend) to see if he could get another tire for me because I needed to get back to the airport to pick-up my partner. Well, I was in my office that has no phone reception when my mechanic tried to call me and ask if I wanted a used or new tire. Because he couldnt get in touch with me and because I hadnt had the time to tell him about my previous experience with USA used tires he actually went to that place to get me a used tire. Of course when I found out I was mad but it wasnt his fault. The 2nd tire got me to the airport and back but on the 2nd day it had gone flat. I talked with my mechanic and decided to just get 2 new tires and we took back that tire to USA used tires. The owner tried to say that the mechanic and I were liars and that this tire wasnt his (even though it was the one that didnt match the other tires) and an argument and name calling began between him and my mechanic. He also yelled at me and accused me that the first tire that I tried to bring back (the one that blew out on the highway) was cut with a knife by me; which is ridiculous to say the least. We finally get the tire changed out with one of the new ones I had brought along without getting the money back for the second faulty used tire. Now for those not keeping track the count on bad tires from this place is 3 out of 3! The one I didnt get in the beginning with the large hole, the one I did get that blew out and the third one that went flat in 2 days. Now, I understand that things happen and I could have just had the bad luck of getting a bad tire the first time but 3? Add to that that the owner is extremely rude and unprofessional and you have all the reason to take your business elsewhere.I hope by taking the time to write my experience will prevent people from getting faulty tires and potentially having a life threatening blow-out. Also, this place does not deserve to be in business.

Horrible, outrageous, disasterous, PLEASE....PLEASE....DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! My daughter accidently put diesels fuel into my car on Derby Day (the first Saturday of May) 2015. We didnt know what to do so we parked the car and found whoever was open to help us. We were grateful to find USA Used Tires and Auto! They drained our fuel pump...which took about 5-6 hours. The car STILL wouldnt start so they said we now needed an alternator. They were closing, so my husband drove down from Louisville to pick me up. Since the car was still under warrenty, I told them to NOT to work on the car any longer, and I had it towed to Campbell Chevrolet. They told me that I did NOT need a new alternator AND that the car hadnt been drained all the way. When it was all said and done, the bill was almost $2,000!!!!! Thank God our insurance company paid for it. It is covered under accidental contamination!!!Please....do not EVER go to USA Used Tires and Auto. They do NOT know what they are doing. We were stranded for hours!!!!!! Always just go with a dealer when you are on the road. It is better to be safe than sorry!!!! If I could give these people less than 1 star....I WOULD!!!

(((Gave a 5 star,reason:couldnt post a response that was by it self with out giving a star)))Ive never been here,but let me give u some advice,,,,if u know nothing about tires and what to look for?then a used tire isnt for u,get a new one please or find someone that can come with u or u can call,that knows how to tell(phone camera works good for that)what there looking for,,.heres somethings to look for on buying used tires::1, how to tell if the tire is dry rotted2, how to tell if the tire is separating3, looking for patches or plugs 4, how much tread is on them (u can use a penny)5, how the tread is worn=if its has less tread on one side of tire compared to the other(use a penny)6, what the bead of the tire is like does it have ripps or cracked or ate up7, is there gouges in sidewalls 8, ,,,,,and by all means,this all factors in to PRICE, in a used tire vs the price ur being charged.minus mounting and rebalancing just tire priceREMEMBER THE TIRES ON UR CAR CARRYS U AND OTHERS AROUND ON HWYS,COUNTRY ROADS AND CITY ROADS etc.etc.etc u get my point.AND DONT EVER LET SOMEONE PUT SOMETHING ON UR CAR WITHOUT SEEING IT 1ST/ EXP. IF ITS USED u dont walk through life blind do u ????

Over priced. Got all four tires put on and the two front tires nearly fell off on the highway. Very scary. Also the customer service was subpar. I had to sit on the curb while they did their thing for 45 mins in the heat. Learn to put tires on properly, its your ONLY job. And get some Damn chairs for people to sit in.
